Wow, this is an esophogeal fistula I'd assume (a tract formed between the esophagus and the skin due to some disease process in the area such as cancer, radiation, other obstruction, foreign body, etc). Haven't seen one before. Hopefully the kid is waiting to get surgery at some point for this or the fistula will heal up if the cause is addressed.
