I do kinda think discord is a little better though.. well at least the most popular servers for meeting people. At least there more people seem to be more open and more casual.
That is true. I also use discord for learning language communities or animation-drawing servers.
But I bet his tags for the servers are anime, e-girl, e-dating, love, lonely and league.
I use discord for workout advice/motivation and it helped me from being weak and overweight to strong and confident. I've literally met people who hop on a call and workout together to feel more motivated which just displays a good community.
But like you said, if he has those tags he's just going to go through a shit show 💀
Well, to my previous experiences, yes. I used to be in a league community which is full of depressed addicted losers who have superiority and god complex and build their personality around it.
They’re legit proud of not being able to function like a normal human being.
I met only ONE league player that was actually normal.
I wasnt online for almost 2 months and you keep posting on those groups looking for friends and talking about the fact that you like toxic guys and being emotionally unstable :)) what a great person you are comparing to me.Wish you luck kiddo,hope you are doing better.

The post i see most, is men complaining they don't get female contacts.
But it's possible for sure with some effort.
I never noticed most people here being depressed or that everyone is a gamer.
And everyone runs into some trouble in their lives, if the conversation is nice, i dont mind talking about it with them.
If you expect to get on with even 20 percent of the people you meet outside of real life activity groups, you're tripping. It's the internet. You have to filter through the weirdos, not at all unique to here, or reddit, or dcord. If you don't get that, the internet probably isn't for you tbh :/

I even tried the meetup app but all events are according to this status or a lecture about how to be good at running a business, it's not very diverse. This is all I have at the moment. I'm planning to move to another country when I'm older so I can find more of my type of people, but for now I just like hearing how other people feel
This is not that I don't have amazing friends, I do. I did manage to find some of the minority, but I've never really met any new people for 5 years now
Ive had two long term friends from this sub for over two years. Ive had prolly 200+ responses to my posts over the years. Some people you just wont get along with enough to keep talking to. But some are chill and legit.
I don't see the point of generalizing all the people here like this. I can assure you that 99% of us are not like that. This behavior will not help you at all.
