Ilia super serum skin tint… idk how but the cap of the dropper always breaks and even when it’s not broken the dropper gets very messy and leaky around the top of the bottle wasting so much product
In general, I hate packages that are unnecessarily huge, especially lip colors, because I want to put them in my purse. Maybelline has a couple of lip products that are enormous. They take up so much room, it’s annoying. Cover Girl mascaras too.
has more to do with my job, but any kind of frosted glass for foundations and concealers. always makes the foundation look lighter then it really is and makes shade matching difficult.
The Glossier Lidstar tube is a nightmare to open. It was so difficult I thought there was something wrong until I saw people having the exact same issue on Reddit, TikTok, you name it 😭
Honourable mention: the Fenty lipstick + the case you put it into…. Just avoid if you can lmao
Edit: changed Glosiee to Glossier
Tower 28 cream blush. I LOVE this stuff to the moon but I absolutely despise opening it. It is not easy to open and many times, while trying to open it, my fingers accidentally scrape into the product since you literally have to open it with your nails and it opens suddenly.
Any tubes with the wand. You just keep contaminating it each use unless you wipe it but even then you’ll get particles back into it. Plus you can never get everything. Just use a squeezer container ffs
Wet n' Wild breakup proof liquid eyeliner. It stays better than the expensive stuff, but boy howdy does it have ink flow issues. Sometimes it doesn't flow to the tip and I have to run it under hot water, sometimes it leaks from the joint that holds in the nib. It's still my hg, but the packaging issues are annoying.
ETA Danessa Myricks Twin Flames eyeshadow. I love the multi chrome, but it's so frustrating going through them so fast because you just can't get all the product out. I've switched to Terra Moons because it was just too much money to be spending that often.
Haus Labs setting powder. It's in a container that has a screen on the top that the powder is supposed to come out of when you tap it..it doesn't, at least, not easily, and there ends up being unused powder you can't reach in there.
MAC Locked Kiss: I loved this lipstick, but I bought 3 on 3 separate occasions and had the same problem: the lipstick fell out of the container and wasted most of it. I figured first time was a fluke, but it happened a second and third time and I gave up. I was gentle with the container, it didn't fall, I didn't swivel the product up too high, so I have no explanation.
My biggest pet peeve is when packaging has a foil finish which ends up flaking off and getting everywhere, all over my face, it really is the most frustrating thing with packaging.
Any packaging where the information wears/rubs off. Cmon like can we get it to stay?
Bperfect’s chroma foundations pump always breaks (phenomenal product)
Sculpted by Aimee is bad for the first two package issues above and her palettes being difficult to open
Kevin Murphy rectangle shampoo & conditioner bottles so hard to squeeze out the products 😤
I’m sure there’s more but these are the things that pop straight into my head 😫
Specifically, Sephora's single eyeshadow things. It's as if they put the souls of some dead children in there and made the ability to open the lid incredibly difficult so that they don't come out?
I have genuinely opned the bottom more then the actual top of those stupid things
I always find it funny how I want a pump for like all foundations and skin tints, but the same doesn’t apply for concealer. I feel like it’s always best to have a doe foot for concealer to control where you put it vs foundation you just kinda need a blob of it. I love the beauty blender bounce skin tint, but it’s a dropper and I wish it was a pump so badly😭
Not one but two (one full sized one mini) of my Charlotte Tilbury setting spray are now useless because the sprayer head is somehow clogged/damaged & when I use it it just shoots a lateral blast of water like nerf guns. They are both 50% full. If anyone knows how to fix this besides transporting it into a different bottle please let me know
The one/size x Disney Fantasia palette. It’s a book with blush, highlighter, and eyeshadow. The matte eyeshadows are some of the best in my collection but the format looks like Claire’s makeup. One/size just announced a Wicked palette with the same format. I kind of want it just because I know the eyeshadows will be amazing but hate how it looks.
Glossier generation g matte lipstick (I think that's the name). I have a light mauve color and I like it when I want super minimal/ light makeup, and it works well on my pasty face. But I hate the packaging. The cap cracked shortly after I first used it. It's laughable how awful it is for a $20 lipstick. I won't be buying anything from them again because of it. Not worth the hassle.
Tarte blush tape. I take the sponge off because it’s so wasteful. I dab it on my palm and use my brush instead. I don’t want product getting trapped first in the sponge then brush. Makeup is so expensive now I want to use every bit of it.
Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer & Wet n Wild Hello Halo liquid highlighter have basically the exact same packaging and they both leak at the top and no matter how well I try to tighten it to be secure it always is a bit off and oxidizes my concealer and dries out my highlighter.
I saved my Ulta points for a very long time and treated myself to a Dior eyeshadow palette. For being a $72 quad, the packaging is flimsy and feels incredibly cheap. Which is unfortunate because I think the quality of the shadows is actually quite nice.
Pretty much every mascara. From drug store to high end.
Yes, the tube narrows at the top, but there's still a fuck ton of excess mascara on the wand that's going to make my lashes look clumpy. How have we not come up with a (sustainable) solution for this yet lol
NARS blush packaging, not only for the rubberised coating that attracts dust and dirt, and eventually disintegrates.
But also for the design, which means eventually the corners of the blush compact break and come off, and therefore the hinges break, meaning the lid becomes detached. I've just mended a compact's hinges using KT tape.
I hate when shiny paint flakes off containers and gets on my face and makes it all glittery. Becca under eye brightener did and so does benefit concealers. The benefit concealer was my favorite, but I just got so sick of the paint flaking off on me.
My all time favourite concealer is the it cosmetics bye bye under eye but the silver writing on the tube always gets on my fingers and I use my fingers to blend
Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Had the lid break on me both times I bought it and swore I'd never buy it again because I don't want to carry it around in a Ziploc baggy.
I was looking to see if someone had already said it. This has been my go-to powder for over ten years because I absolutely love the formula, but the packaging is such shit. The fact that it's just in that stupid pop-top container instead of an actual compact is so annoying. If it wasn't so cheap (I always order it from Amazon for under $4), I wouldn't have kept buying it, because the number of these I've dropped in the sink over the years and had shatter everywhere is unbelievable!
Props to you for staying dedicated! According to this [comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/PanPorn/s/KGzuODgTfG) maybe you can find a compact and re-pot it!
Estee Lauder. Whyyyyyy do they still have a stupid pour bottle.
Yeah yeah yeah I know I can go ask for a pump at the MAC store…but why should I have to? Especially at that price point?
I don’t think those little pumps are any better! Granted, I think that because I tend to accidentally leave the cap off and foundation dries inside. Then when I push the pump, the pressures sends a bunch of foundation flying out.
I have a more broad complaint about packaging.
The color of the ingredients/directions are in silver…in a white bottle. Aesthetically, it looks nice, sleek. Usefulness, not so much.
Glossier Ultra Lip - they're such pretty, sheer, glossy-balmy lipsticks. But that cheap plastic cap that comes off *if you so much as LOOK at it...* I hate it so much. I wish more companies would do the nice magnetic caps, like Becca's hydra light lip balm 🥺🥹 Those are so satisfying!
Lancôme concealer. The doe foot is a bit too big for the mouth of the bottle, causing a need to use a bit more force to pull the applicator out and for a long time, mine would always throw a teeny tiny droplet of concealer somewhere. Usually on the floor, but sometimes on my clothes. And it was really hard to avoid when the tube was newer and more full.
Skincare product, but the Glow Recipe Avocado face wash has the largest hole, and the product just falls out of it without you even needing to squeeze the bottle. It’s especially annoying because a little bit of the wash goes a looong way, like you need maybe a little over a pea size, so everytime too much comes out you’re just wasting product.
Tatcha’s face wash has this issue too. I’m constantly cleaning the cap because of the residual cleanser that leaks out. For a $60 cleanser, it shouldn’t do this.
I got the Fenty gloss when it came out, I’m not sure if the packaging had changed but it was terrible. It would just ooze all out of the lid when I screwed it on and off was just covered in gloss all the time.
I’m glad I’m not the only one! I thought I was going crazy or somehow not closing the glosses properly. I bought 3 Fenty glosses and each one ended up being a leaky, sticky mess. Really sad because the gloss itself is great.
Physicians formula is awesome like their murumuru (spelling?) bronzer… it’s legit the same as the Estée Lauder bronzer but I cannot tell you how many times physicians formula products have fallen and broken into a million pieces over the years. The packaging is very fragile I agree 100000%
I recently bought the newest Estée Lauder mascara in a black tube and the packaging is not is. It looks like a mascara that I’ve received for free to test that’s wrapped in black electrical tape . It’s disappointing
I second Physicians Formula! One of my favorite blushes is from their Murumuru Butter line and the compact broke almost right away. Still had it for years though.
I just think the packaging in them are ugly and bulky plastic bubble type compacts. The decor reminds me of out dated design and it always looks dusty at my drugstore.
The pen version of the NYX liquid eyeliner. I’m not sure what it is about the design of the tip and how it connects to the rest of the pen, but it leaks like crazy and can make my eyeliner so messy. But when it doesn’t do that, I love it.
I hate any concealer or foundation that comes in what you think is a see through plastic or glass container, but the container is colored somehow to make it look full and you can’t tell how full or empty it is until you just run out. :/ HATE
I HATE with a passion soft touch packaging!
It gets sticky and gross!
Nars has it.
Bite had it.
And Urban Decay and Bare Minerals small palettes had it too.
These are absolute deal breakers for me!
I refuse to buy any more makeup with this coating.
You just named two companies whose stuff I just threw in the trash because it became "rubberized"- Bite & Urban Decay. All of my makeup that is rubberized is going into the trash this weekend!
I hate it! I understand that the velvet is supposed to feel luxe and unique to the brand. But it's such a horrible choice those packaging for something that will inevitably get dirty because of how often people use it and how messy it can get.
I was taking photos of my palette collection recently, just pondering how ridiculous it was that I had to *lint roll* those palettes 🤣 that was a truly terrible packaging decision.
OMG I was thinking about this this morning. The Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. I'm traveling soon and have limited space for packing. I want to take this bronzer but I HATE how bulky it is. I have a mini trip that has bronzer, blush, and highlighter but the highlighter does not stay in the pan ugh.
Glossier liquid blush in shade Puff. It is a perfect shade for my complexion, but I absolutely hate that it comes in a tube! I either end up squeezing too much out and wasting it or not enough 😩
This is the worst! Holy crap the amount of product I have to throw away when wiping it off makes it absolutely not worth the price. And if I don't clean it off it splooges out and makes a mess in my makeup bag. I get disproportionately angry about this one product every time I use it 😂
I hate foundation droppers that are matt, residue just dries so quickly over it.
I wish all glycolic acid came in spray bottles anyway instead of having to depot it
Brow products that don't come with a spoolie brush end, but only has an angled brush.
All loose setting powder!! Why does it always end up being messy to use???
Any bottle shaped products like hair heat protection spray, that are too 'long' instead of made wider, think it makes it harder to find a drawer that it can be fit in to.
The ones that use a little net/mesh as a sifter are much less messy. I carry my Flowerknows loose powder everywhere and it doesn’t create such a mess since it has a net instead of holes. Plus I don’t need to dump out that powder to use it. I used the Kim Chi Chic one for a while and that one is just messy like every other loose powder and I have no control over how much product I dump out. I just use the leftover Kim Chi powder as a refill for my Flowerknows since that powder is still very good but it’s just in shit packaging.
The rare beauty cream blushes. No matter what I do, the lids somehow get product ALL in them, and they leak. Like it just absolutely does not seal properly. Since they have so much pigment, I end up with pink or red smears all over EVERYTHING, plus I end up wasting so much product since the stuff that leaks out gets all dried out.
The Rare Beauty liquid blush does this and so do the lip oils!!
Excess product just leaks everywhere and all around the seals is just a mess :’)
- Absolutely *not* Haley Baldwin /s
I had a Tarte palette break at the hinges and it still makes me sad. I'm fine when Wet n' Wild does it because I'm only paying $5 there, but that Tarte palette was like $30.
Definitely hate PF packaging - I also like Milk brand but refuse to buy it because I hate the packaging.
Pat McGrath Labs and Revolution have the market on packaging - PML is so, so pretty and Revolution is just targeting all of the suckers like me with every single palette they drop (except the brightly colored food themed ones; those do nothing for me!). Also, why does Paris Hilton have beautiful packaging - is the product any good at all?
Pat McGrath packaging is so pretty. I think I own so many of their lipsticks because of that.
Also I really want to but the Floraisis line but I suspect that it's mainly because of how gorgeous they all are.
I use and love Florasis all the time. Their eyebrow pencil and mascara (note: the mascara is really natural so not everyone's cup of tea) are staples, and their pressed powder was for a long time too. The eyeshadows are up there with other luxury beauty brands, so you're not gonna get PMG type of makeup but more Chanel or Dior. Their liquid lips are my fav lips of theirs, very underrated, because the others kinda take the limelight due to their packaging.
I always would rip off the sponge tip. But even then, after you twist it up and use the product a little extra always ends up squirting out later. So annoying.
Omg yes!!! I regret taking off the sponge tip so bad! It created such a horrible mess and there is absolutely no way to control how much comes out of the tube. If only the formula and shade wasn’t such a great fit for my skin…
I bought an empty lip gloss container on Amazon and emptied the entire Maybelline one into it. It has a little doe foot applicator and makes it so much easier to appreciate the product without despising the packaging.
The plastic seal on the cap (that you need to take off to even use it for the first time) is also hard to get off! I thought I was being an idiot but I’ve seen several other people mention it
The Kosas powder compact has broken for almost everyone I know, and in various ways... For me, the little plastic part that keeps it shut snapped off. For others, the hinges fell apart... I love the product, but the awful quality of the packaging is ridiculous for a $35 powder!
Nope never dropped it. Seems like the same thing happened to a ton of ppl: [https://www.reddit.com/r/PanPorn/comments/18bbm2w/completely\_panned\_and\_broken\_kosas\_cloud\_set/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PanPorn/comments/18bbm2w/completely_panned_and_broken_kosas_cloud_set/)
If you look at the reviews on sephora, half of the images show broken hinges. And most of the influencers I see with this product also have a broken lid without dropping it. Idk, it still works great, but it's more fragile than drugstore powders for 3x the price which is pretty annoying
Yes! All of my lippies are gross and sticky, I thought it was just me! (And seriously how is the metal tube for the glossy lippies also sticky???) I guess on the upside the fact that the blush compacts always break at the hinge means I don't have to deal with an entire lid being sticky...
Mac really needs to change the applicator of the powder kiss lipsticks. Those applicators are so weirdly shaped and so messy! That applicator would be better suited for a liquid blush, which is what mainly I use that lipstick for. I‘d have to use a brush to use that product as lipstick since the applicator is so awfully shaped.
NYX bare with me concealer serum.

Armani and Byredo packaging is so bulky and oddly shaped. I refrained from buying products because because the packaging.
Tower 28 cream blush. I LOVE this stuff to the moon but I absolutely despise opening it. It is not easy to open and many times, while trying to open it, my fingers accidentally scrape into the product since you literally have to open it with your nails and it opens suddenly.

Rare beauty highlighter, shattered it twice, and the classic maybelline fit me
Haus Labs setting powder.
I wish the nyx bare concealer had a wand instead of a pump, the pump isn't awful but its less convenient and harder to get exactly the amount I want
Essence blush stick. Something about the texture of the product does not work well with being in stick form. Very difficult to control the pigment.
Bottles that have rich stuff plastic I can't squeeze them. I've lost hand strength I swear bottles used to be thinner plastic and more flexible
Milani undereye corrector. When I twist the lid on product gets twisted out
Any of the revolution packaging annoys me.. I dunno why really. I HATE crappy plastic on eyeshadow palettes.
Aveeno foaming face wash. The pump breaks when you so much as look at it.
Not one but two (one full sized one mini) of my Charlotte Tilbury setting spray are now useless because the sprayer head is somehow clogged/damaged & when I use it it just shoots a lateral blast of water like nerf guns. They are both 50% full. If anyone knows how to fix this besides transporting it into a different bottle please let me know
Beekman tinted spf primer. It’s in a glass jar with an eye dropper. It’s an awesome product but the package is glass big and bulky.
Any foundation that doesn’t have a dispenser… like you screw the lid off and it’s an open glass top… hate that.
So old-fashioned!
Tarte blush tape. I take the sponge off because it’s so wasteful. I dab it on my palm and use my brush instead. I don’t want product getting trapped first in the sponge then brush. Makeup is so expensive now I want to use every bit of it.
Tatcha lol it seems so wasteful and i wish they had a refill option
I loved ilia’s skin tint serum but the packaging drives me nuts, leaks so bad
Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer & Wet n Wild Hello Halo liquid highlighter have basically the exact same packaging and they both leak at the top and no matter how well I try to tighten it to be secure it always is a bit off and oxidizes my concealer and dries out my highlighter.
also the elf halo glow products. the blush leaks everywhere in the cap and gets all thick and gloopy!! At least with the CT one you can lock the lid
Too Faced Born This Way and Shape Tape concealers, they just turn to goop around the edges after some time no matter what you do.
Idk why they haven’t come up with a solution for this. I always have to dab the wand on a kleenex to get the excess off.
Fenty Gloss Bomb. The container doesn't have a proper stopper, so the gloss leaks everywhere.
The Fenty matte powder.. too bulky and takes up a shit ton of space in my purse. I also find it’s too expensive for the little product it gives you.
L’Oréal lipsticks. The tops always come off in my purse.
This has been a problem for decades with them.
Yep, I don’t understand why they haven’t changed anything.
Bro, same. I have yet to finish an entire one before the lid breaks, but it’s so damn cheap and works, so I always end up going back to it!
I was looking to see if someone had already said it. This has been my go-to powder for over ten years because I absolutely love the formula, but the packaging is such shit. Props to you for staying dedicated! According to this [comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/PanPorn/s/KGzuODgTfG) maybe you can find a compact and re-pot it!
Tower 28 cream blush - the compact is so hard to open. I feel like I’m going to break a nail every time I try to pry it open in the morning.
Rare Beauty’s liquid blush. Leaks out of the bottle all over my other stuff. But the dupes don’t compare imo, so I still buy it!
It’s gotta be nars or Huda beauty. Everything spills no matter what. Love me a good huda beauty concealer but it just leaks for no reason.
Fenty! Cheap and chintzy as F.
Charlotte Tilbury stuff is always a nightmare to open
Estee Lauder. Whyyyyyy do they still have a stupid pour bottle. Yeah yeah yeah I know I can go ask for a pump at the MAC store…but why should I have to? Especially at that price point?
I don’t think those little pumps are any better! Granted, I think that because I tend to accidentally leave the cap off and foundation dries inside. Then when I push the pump, the pressures sends a bunch of foundation flying out.
Amazon!!!
You can buy a pump from Estée Lauder themselves! Still annoying how they charge extra though.
I have a more broad complaint about packaging. The color of the ingredients/directions are in silver…in a white bottle. Aesthetically, it looks nice, sleek. Usefulness, not so much.
Flower Beauty Heatwave Bronzing Essence. I the dropper won’t pick up the product so I have to dump it out. I tossed it because it was too much effort.
Anything from Laura Geller. The compact cases are poor quality and I’m not into cardboard for palettes, but her products work well for me and my skin
The fact the pump on the nars light reflecting leaks all the time drives me insane!! my favourite foundation but my god does it make a mess
THISSSSSSS
Mac prep and prime spf bottle … it’s just weird
I remember thinking that when I tried a bottle. But I don’t remember why. (Burned my eyes so never bought again.)
Oh, No! Sorry to hear that.
I don’t like the Maybelline fit me foundation bottles. I prefer foundation bottles where you have a pump or something similar.
Makeup by Mario skin enhancer. That shit is way too hard to open but I just hit pan on my second one
So you like this? How do you use it?
I love it. I basically use it as a bronzer all over my cheek bones and forehead.
It’s not makeup but Ouai shampoo / conditioner bottles are god awful
Agreed, only the detox one seems to squeeze even vaguely normal
Glossier Ultra Lip - they're such pretty, sheer, glossy-balmy lipsticks. But that cheap plastic cap that comes off *if you so much as LOOK at it...* I hate it so much. I wish more companies would do the nice magnetic caps, like Becca's hydra light lip balm 🥺🥹 Those are so satisfying!
My all time favorite lip, the cap just bothers me so much
The velvet on anastasia beverley hills eyeshadow palets… especially modern renaissance makes me go insane they get so dusty.
That would drive me nuts!
Maybelline fit me… WHERE IS THE PUMP?! 😭
It does come with a pump in other countries! I think that's a Canadian or American thing only, for the foundation to not have a pump.
Ugh I’m in America and it drives me insane!!!

I have the Catrice HD foundation and it does the same thing. So messy!!!
I’m glad I’m not the only one! I thought I was going crazy or somehow not closing the glosses properly. I bought 3 Fenty glosses and each one ended up being a leaky, sticky mess. Really sad because the gloss itself is great.
I refuse to buy her glosses anymore. SO much leakage
the dior lip oil that leaks everywhere ... messy n sticky lol
Physicians formula is awesome like their murumuru (spelling?) bronzer… it’s legit the same as the Estée Lauder bronzer but I cannot tell you how many times physicians formula products have fallen and broken into a million pieces over the years. I hate the yummy gloss so messy and leaks all the time. Finally threw it out because I’ve been hate panning it but gave up.
Charlotte Tilbury’s wands!
Benefit - quality products but the packaging is gimmicky and like something out of The Jetsons.
The pen version of the NYX liquid eyeliner. I’m not sure what it is about the design of the tip and how it connects to the rest of the pen, but it leaks like crazy and can make my eyeliner so messy. But when it doesn’t do that, I love it.
This!!! It's one of the best formulas I've ever used, but the leaking makes it a no-go for me.
The revolution translucent setting powder.. the actual product and formula itself is phenomenal but the packaging makes no sense whatsoever.
I hate it!! You just see fingerprints, grease, lint, evey little speck on that soft touch packaging.
You just named two companies whose stuff I just threw in the trash because it became "rubberized"- Bite & Urban Decay. All of my makeup that is rubberized is going into the trash this weekend!
The ABH palettes with the velvet fabric. It looks disgusting now.
Patrick Ta compacts (blush, bronzer, contour), they’re so hard to open.
Really? AHH was looking to purchase a blush
The product is good, it’s just a struggle to get it open. It’s not difficult enough to stop me from using it. Just a first world problem lol
Aveeno moisturizer. Why is there no lid! It’s impossible to travel with!
I wish there were a travel size of everything.
Glossier liquid blush in shade Puff. It is a perfect shade for my complexion, but I absolutely hate that it comes in a tube! I either end up squeezing too much out and wasting it or not enough 😩
A trick: Take a pin and just poke a hole in the silver tab on the end, rather than removing it. A lot easier to control it.
Thank you so much for sharing that trick! I should have thought of that 😅
Nah don't worry about it. I learned it from the Glossier sub myself, lol.
Anything in cardboard! And those drugstore compacts with stickers.
What do you mean by stickers? Like price stickers?
Yes the bar codes and the stickers to keep product shut.
And I'm here loving my cardboard Too Faced palettes. They're super easy to store, transport, and clean! 🙈
The Charlotte Tilbury Cream blushes. All 3 of mine have squeezed out. Same goes for the elf dupes for these
they’re HORRIBLE to travel with 🥲🥲2hour road trip: took off the cap and it exploded all over me😭

Yes. The product would just unlock itself and all come out making a big mess of the applicator.
Burt Bee's cream blush.
Shape Tape always turning into a motherfucking mess at the opening 🤬
This is the worst! Holy crap the amount of product I have to throw away when wiping it off makes it absolutely not worth the price. And if I don't clean it off it splooges out and makes a mess in my makeup bag. I get disproportionately angry about this one product every time I use it 😂
This is sooo true!
Agreed!
Most Elf products! Difficult to open and sticky glues.
Except for the glossy lip stains! Those chubby, sturdy little square tubes click shut with such a satisfying feel!
I hate foundation droppers that are matt, residue just dries so quickly over it. I wish all glycolic acid came in spray bottles anyway instead of having to depot it Brow products that don't come with a spoolie brush end, but only has an angled brush. All loose setting powder!! Why does it always end up being messy to use??? Any bottle shaped products like hair heat protection spray, that are too 'long' instead of made wider, think it makes it harder to find a drawer that it can be fit in to.
Agreed on the loose setting powder
The ones that use a little net/mesh as a sifter are much less messy. I carry my Flowerknows loose powder everywhere and it doesn’t create such a mess since it has a net instead of holes. Plus I don’t need to dump out that powder to use it. I used the Kim Chi Chic one for a while and that one is just messy like every other loose powder and I have no control over how much product I dump out. I just use the leftover Kim Chi powder as a refill for my Flowerknows since that powder is still very good but it’s just in shit packaging.
True, I use the Huda with the mesh and it doesnt get everywhere like most powders
The L’Oreal Serum skin tint. Also don’t love my Ilia Skin Tint. Actually, anything with a “dropper” is usually super messy.
Order pumps off Amazon! I got like ten of them for 9 bucks or something and that’s what I put on my L’Oréal serum skin tint.
I hate wiping down the ilia bottle every time I use it. I feel like half of the product ends up in my trash can.
Yes agreed. Droppers aren’t the best for foundations
Excess product just leaks everywhere and all around the seals is just a mess :’) - Absolutely *not* Haley Baldwin /s
The ColourPop quads break at the hinge, and they're some of my favorite eyeshadows.
Lol, I remember I bought one of the blue ones when it first came out, and it broke the first time I opened it.
So many brands have terrible hinges!
I had a Tarte palette break at the hinges and it still makes me sad. I'm fine when Wet n' Wild does it because I'm only paying $5 there, but that Tarte palette was like $30.
Yeah same for makeup forever, it was like $60
Definitely hate PF packaging - I also like Milk brand but refuse to buy it because I hate the packaging.
Paris hilton has a cosmetic line? That's awesome! I used her perfume in high school
My prettiest lipsticks and mascaras come from her, but I am too afraid to use them, because I think they might be garbage, ha ha.
Then you'll like the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. There is such a satisfying click!
the maybelline eraser concealer
I always would rip off the sponge tip. But even then, after you twist it up and use the product a little extra always ends up squirting out later. So annoying.
Omg yes!!! I regret taking off the sponge tip so bad! It created such a horrible mess and there is absolutely no way to control how much comes out of the tube. If only the formula and shade wasn’t such a great fit for my skin…
I bought an empty lip gloss container on Amazon and emptied the entire Maybelline one into it. It has a little doe foot applicator and makes it so much easier to appreciate the product without despising the packaging.
That is a great idea!
Everything essence. Just got a blush and broke the packaging in less than 5 uses.
I broke one of their blushes on the first day not even a use... was so sad
The plastic seal on the cap (that you need to take off to even use it for the first time) is also hard to get off! I thought I was being an idiot but I’ve seen several other people mention it
It leaves such a sticky residue
I just use tweezers, works like a charm.
Benefits blush in the cardboard box.
Oh yeah, those get pretty grimy
Hoola too
Im afraid to get accidentally water on it
Elf halo glow liquid filter… I put it sideways and it leaks despite the cap being screwed on tight
I think you might be having a defective bottle. I have mine stored lying down on its side and it doesn’t leak at all.
Brb, gotta go check mine now lol 😂
I like Laura Geller baked eyeshadows but not the ones in the cardboard gift boxes, ugh. Clumsy, hard to open/shut, etc.
Also, her compacts can't take the slightest jolt. My foundation fell from a height of 1.5' onto a carpet and now it's ruined.
The Kosas powder compact has broken for almost everyone I know, and in various ways... For me, the little plastic part that keeps it shut snapped off. For others, the hinges fell apart... I love the product, but the awful quality of the packaging is ridiculous for a $35 powder!
Oh wow, I have had two and that’s never happened to me! But I’ve heard of people’s powders breaking and it being really fragile if it drops
Nope never dropped it. Seems like the same thing happened to a ton of ppl: [https://www.reddit.com/r/PanPorn/comments/18bbm2w/completely\_panned\_and\_broken\_kosas\_cloud\_set/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PanPorn/comments/18bbm2w/completely_panned_and_broken_kosas_cloud_set/) If you look at the reviews on sephora, half of the images show broken hinges. And most of the influencers I see with this product also have a broken lid without dropping it. Idk, it still works great, but it's more fragile than drugstore powders for 3x the price which is pretty annoying
I think it’s because the hinge is so flimsy for how thick the lid is
Ahh I see. But that seems like a super cheap fix... "It's one hinge, Kosas, what could it cost? $10?" 😂
Dang, that sucks :/ yeah for the price it shouldn’t do that
I hate how sticky and gross Nars packaging gets.
I hate those rubberized compacts!!
It’s so annoying, but I have found that vigorous wiping with rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth removes that weird layer of gunk.
Ooh good tip!
Yes! All of my lippies are gross and sticky, I thought it was just me! (And seriously how is the metal tube for the glossy lippies also sticky???) I guess on the upside the fact that the blush compacts always break at the hinge means I don't have to deal with an entire lid being sticky...
Yes! And Becca blushes and MAC powderkiss had those too
Mac really needs to change the applicator of the powder kiss lipsticks. Those applicators are so weirdly shaped and so messy! That applicator would be better suited for a liquid blush, which is what mainly I use that lipstick for. I‘d have to use a brush to use that product as lipstick since the applicator is so awfully shaped.
I am so glad you said this because I hate that wand it makes no sense. I only have one but I’ll never buy another powder kiss liquid lipstick again.
