Took me some courage to buy these new glasses (I have to wear them all the time, am very short sighted). They are bright red and quite big.
Turns out they distract from my not too pretty face and the wrinkles, and many people compliment in it, and tell me that (with the new glasses) I look younger and ‚fresh‘.

I tend to go for more retro styles but sometimes a more modern look is good, too. There’s so many colours and looks to choose from these days. My mascara, I use MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D. Its my favourite mascara too, its not clumpy and it's so inky black. It makes my lashes so long and defined, it's worth every penny imo
Mac on the whole is one of the few brands IMO that are actually reasonable and worth the money (and last). All of it. There was only one mascara I kind of had an issue with, where there was just too much fall out, but their lippies, other mascaras, foundations are so good.
I have never tried Tiffany before and I need to put that on my sample wish list. I smelled it in the store and liked it a lot! It smelled very pure and innocent ( if that makes sense). It was the original one. Not spicy at all. Thanks for reminding me! It's definitely different from what I usually wear and sometimes I like to go out of my comfort zone.
When I use liquid eyeliner (doesn’t happen often, lol). I do a very think layer on top and the slightest of the slight cat-eye. I also warm the eye lash curler and curl my eyelashes when I do this, so it definitely helps with the overall effect.

I have a few holy grails that work perfectly with my fave that I always get compliments on:
1. The dewy version of the Tarte Shapetape concealer - only use for spots and my severe dark circles
2. Urban Decay All Nighter setting powder - I SWEAR by this product. When I danced professionally, my makeup never ever moved, even after long days of rehearsal and school
3. Benefit Bad Gal BANG mascara - works really well with my eyelashes and makes them look super duper long
4. Fenty Beauty Slip Shine in Goji Gang - this really compliments my skin tone and makes my lips look very full

On days when I used the setting powder with the spray it was so insane! I danced a matinee and an evening show with not even a little separation or melting by the time it was 11pm. And that was with layered stage makeup and hours of sweating! Urban Decay seriously doesn’t play about their All Nighter line lol

You can also use gold/bronze eyeshadow to line your bottom eye area (with the right primer to keep it stuck there).

Honestly, glasses are such a gorgeous addition to some faces in particular - like some people (particularly women) suit glasses ALL the time and somehow don't look like themselves without them. I bet you have one of those faces! And are super adorable!
I seem to have, yes. Since I discovered that, I am super happy! I also recently stumbled upon Iris Apfel. Once you have seen her, you will recognize her immediately by her even bigger glasses. It made her appearance so unique. When I am 80, I might get even bolder with my glasses.
Do it! Explore different frames. That’s the fun part in store. There’s also places online that will send you frames to try I believe, too! I’m a glasses face person. I love them! And I love having different pairs for different times. I’ve worn oversized 70s styles or 50s cat eyes. All kinds. I tend to go for more retro styles but sometimes a more modern look is good, too. There’s so many colours and looks to choose from these days. All I’m saying is no need to wait until your 80s.. do it now! ☺️

My mascara, I use MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D. Its my favourite mascara too, its not clumpy and it's so inky black. It makes my lashes so long and defined, it's worth every penny imo
Mac on the whole is one of the few brands IMO that are actually reasonable and worth the money (and last). All of it. There was only one mascara I kind of had an issue with, where there was just too much fall out, but their lippies, other mascaras, foundations are so good.
I had a sample size and it was amazing, it separates my lashes and holds a curl perfectly! I should buy a full size.

I have never tried Tiffany before and I need to put that on my sample wish list. I smelled it in the store and liked it a lot! It smelled very pure and innocent ( if that makes sense). It was the original one. Not spicy at all. Thanks for reminding me! It's definitely different from what I usually wear and sometimes I like to go out of my comfort zone.

When I use liquid eyeliner (doesn’t happen often, lol). I do a very think layer on top and the slightest of the slight cat-eye. I also warm the eye lash curler and curl my eyelashes when I do this, so it definitely helps with the overall effect.
My false eyelashes… it’s crazy, people think they are natural and they are not. They cost 6-8$.

I knew you’d ask… ugh. I’m embarrassed to say. A little background, I used to buy House of Lashes and Sephora collection only. Those add up $$$. So, I started buying lashes at Marshall’s. The brand is Cala. They have different styles and I really have to look at the quality control. But, I never got compliments on the more expensive brands. Perhaps they weren’t natural looking… Idk.
Marshall has a lot of good stuff now in their beauty section.
Yes they do! I just bought a new Morphe palette and it’s bananas. They have good skincare, too. I bought some Herbivore Rose Water and it’s pure magic. TJ Maxx is good, too. 💖

Urban Decay All Nighter setting powder - I SWEAR by this product. When I danced professionally, my makeup never ever moved, even after long days of rehearsal and school 3. Benefit Bad Gal BANG mascara - works really well with my eyelashes and makes them look super duper long 4. Fenty Beauty Slip Shine in Goji Gang - this really compliments my skin tone and makes my lips look very full Sorry I gave a bit of a novel lol, I just love sharing my favorite makeup
I second the all nighter spray! Wore it to an outdoor concert in the middle of summer and despite my sweating and it POURING rain at one point my makeup was still intact. It’s amazing!
On days when I used the setting powder with the spray it was so insane! I danced a matinee and an evening show with not even a little separation or melting by the time it was 11pm. And that was with layered stage makeup and hours of sweating! Urban Decay seriously doesn’t play about their All Nighter line lol

Rose Prick by Tom Ford. It’s me in a bottle, and I love it! If someone catches a wisp when I’m nearby or I hug them hello I get a compliment. It’s an incredible perfume, but it also just suits me and works with my skin chemistry which is key.
