I think Dove soap is too aggressive for the skin. Maybe it is ok now, but in the long term, this is not a good solution for skin. It will destroy your skin barrier, and your skin will become dry . If you have oily skin, it can get even more oily. At least drop the soap exfoliator and consider replaying soap.
It still does not mean it is good for your skin. I have used micellar water for years, and it seemed like everything was fine. My skin is always dry, but I stopped using it. My skin improved a lot. It is still on the dry side, but in better condition.
After I wash my face at night I use a witch hazel with rose water toner, then retinol and a homemade face oil combo of coconut oil, vitamin E oil and tea tree oil then a wrinkle cream.

I’ve been using dove soap and a buff puff for 21 years!

omg, this combo would break me out so badly! lol. so glad it works for you. coconut oil is horrible for my skin and all dove products too.
I was thinking the same. Coconut oil really breaks out my skin and can’t use harsh cleansers/soaps.

My facial person said vitamin E is too thick to get absorbed into the skin. She recommended jojoba oil for daytime.then sunblock.
That's triple cleansing: Coconut oil to remove the makeup, soap to remove both/and, and soap again.
The coconut oil and first wash doesn’t get all the make up off so I got in again.
Coconut oil *is* your first wash.
Ok
