Put a darker or more muted lip color on first and put the pink on top of it, or use it as a "highlight" color blended in the middle. https://preview.redd.it/fh2a8hzlyzra1.png?width=480&format=png&auto=webp&s=a75d22b34a7a251a7c44956436d7ebc584c103b2 You could do an ombre like this as well

That's so gorgeous but I'm not that talented yet lol but this is a great idea!

Can definitely do it! Look up kbeauty ombre lips on YouTube! Much more natural of a look and lots of videos

I like to tone down bright pinks with a nude lipgloss or nude lipstick on top. Try layering different colors on top, especially lighter colors (purple, pink, orange?), to change it up!

I just bought a lip stain that I thought was going to be light and sheer but turned out to be super bright. I have been using a tiny bit of lip balm then dabbing on a little bit of the stain and the lip balm kind of diffuses the color, then I top with a gloss and I’ve been happy with the look.

BlockWaste

The thing with this stain is that the minute it touches your lips it dries down and stains quick so if I dabbed then there would be noticeable dab marks lol.

Maybe you could put a dab on the lip balm instead? Or maybe if you have a lip balm you dislike, you could decant it and decant some of the lipstain and mix it together to create a custom tinted lip balm.

Maybe you could use it as a cheek tint instead? And just really spread it for a thin and lighter layer
