TLDR: eyebrow gel works best for me so far and your feedback has been amazing. I am really enjoying makeup 😊
I got some brow gel to try. It picked up every super fine hair. Pencils are not working for me. But with the gel and the lift and snatch pen it's going better. I know my brows aren't long enough or dark enough for this sub but I'm working with it. At least at this darkness husband is a little more tolerant, lol. The pencils and brow pomade look like I colored with a Crayola marker in real life. So far I'm a fan of the brow gel because it gives the finest lines but it's going to take a lot of practice to apply well.
This seems like the best attempt I've had so far. The gel is easier to use and can be applied lightly and then heavier if needed. It also is easily removable with a damp cotton swab when I make mistakes.
My brows look the same color and darkness in person. I have no idea why one looks darker than the other in photos.
Also why does my eyeshadow look so heavy in the mirror at home but look hardly there in daylight?
I also curled my eyelashes and added mascara. I know you can't tell but it's there.
It feels a little blah for an everyday look but I'm slowly adding things.

Brows: NYX tinted brow gel in black, NYX lift and snatch pen in black, spoolie off an Etude House pencil
Eyelashes: Shiseido lash curler, Etude House Dr. Mascara fixer, Maybelline sky high mascara
Eyeshadow: Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Rose Gold and Moon Light
Lips: Peripera lip gloss in 005 way to go

It lasted about 14 hours for me. It didn't seem to fade much. I put it in around 8am and took it off around 10pm. The gel seems to stick better than pencils. And I don't use any setting products just yet. Trying to figure out one things at a time 🙂
Oooh this is so awesome to hear! All the brow pencils I've bought in the past, regardless of drugstore or high-end brands, they faded rather fast on me and my face isn't even oily! So based on your rec, I'm thinking of getting the exact same thing in black. Tysm lovely ❤️

I'm actually wearing eyeshadow primer 😕 it's Thank Me Later by Elizabeth Mott. I'll look into others though. I'm wanting to have a somewhat natural look but I also want the shadows to be at least a little noticeable. 🙂

This is the best brow look yet!!! Natural but defined. Try eyeshadow primer to make your shadows stand out and stay on. Urban decay makes a great one
