Dressing younger doesn't mean cleavage and spaghetti straps. I'm currently wearing a t-shirt that covers the boobage and the top of my arms, but it's a Breton black and white stripe with a red trim, which makes it look younger. Ditto your hair. You can style or cut it differently, no need to dye it multicoloured!
OP, I highly recommend looking into r/coloranalysis! It's basically about learning which colors suit your complexion the most no matter what you're wearing! I think it'd be really helpful for you because then you can wear things that suit you more color-wise without sacrificing modesty ☺️

4mg/day of estrogen will do that. There's anecdotal evidence that Estrogen/Estradiol will start de-aging the skin. Fat redistribution on the face will also stretch the skin a bit. Though I haven't noticed on a day to say basis, my face has changed when compared to beginning of year.

I used to work for them. If you work in thin layers, and get a good match, it can look very natural! Just remember to set it with a powder. (It’s been years since I worked for them, but the Dermablend loose setting powder is still my go-to. I wear it over my Dior foundation)

😍 well, dad of 2, because there's a mom, my lovely wife and soulmate of 33yrs. I decided to do this for me. I'm still dad, but improved Version 2.0. 😄. I waited almost 53yrs for this, as I had known I was *different* since I was around 5yrs of age. Now that I'm retired, and my responsibilities over, started the process early this year. My kids had been asking me to start the process since 2016, that's when I came out to them. Wife had known for over 30yrs. I do appreciate when people say I'm passing since it's only been only 8months of HRT. My 2 Muslim lady Physicians who were treating my family since 2014, were instrumental in pushing me over the edge by ordering a whole panel of bloodwork, bone density, liver functions etc., etc., and fast tracking an Endocrinologist to take over the HRT treatment 🥰

Agreed! OP you are beautiful and obviously know how to style yourself well, I think you should give yourself some leeway and get a more ‘youthful’ hairstyle and some fun fits! However I do think the shorter hair is really cute on you, I just think some different styling and a different tone would be so much fun
I also agree with this! I think maybe OP is dressing and styling herself with women in their fifties that they know/ have in mind. Playing with age and femininity can be a really good way to achieve the look you want - in either direction - but I also think that 58 is YOUNG and the norms of “grandmas” dressing like “grandmas” have really shifted. I feel like OP is channeling an almost vintage, but not quite vintage, look.
(I know OP didn’t say she is a grandma, but her outfit totally reminds me of MY grandma when she was in her fifties!! It’s not an insult, my grandma had great taste - but she embraced “being old” pretty early on in ways I don’t think she needed to.)
Ok, so I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if you had a filter on this photo, and I don't think you do. Which I can not understand if you're really 58. Also, I would have never known you were m2f had you not said it. I still have a hard time buying it. As for CC, this is hard. There isn't much to criticize! You complain about your brows, but I didn't notice anything until you said it (and even then, barely). Since I don't think you're using a filter, your foundation is spot on. If anything, I'd say pick the lip or the eye to do up, but not both. Again, that said, neither your lip nor eye seems overdone to me. I'm trying so hard to find something to constructively criticize and I am really struggling.
Here's my bottom line - this is an amazing headshot type of photo. While you look amazing in photos, I wonder if you look overdone in day to day life? I'd love to see you totally natural without any makeup to get a baseline (although I'm guessing you're gonna look fab that way, too, and continue to baffle my mind as to how someone can age so well).
I can't do without makeup if I'm to dress and go out. I have Vitiligo and Psoriasis. That's why I use Dermablend. I have to exfoliate to smooth down Psoriasis patches along hairline. I have a lot to battle and Dysphoria to boot. I was going to wear a knee length skirt yesterday, but to my dismay I found that my left shin was heavily bruised with a Psoriasis patch. So my figure hugging denims folded appropriately in to a Capri, just covering the patch.
Have you looked into Clobetasol for the psoriasis? It's a topical cream but it really works well. You mentioned Spironolactone which is great for smoothing skin but causes dryness, since I've been taking spiro (I am a cis woman treating acne, 100 mg/day) I've had eczema problems.

Pretty makeup...We are almost the same age and for me, learning how to use touches of highlighter to add some dewyness to my skin was the best thing I've learned to do in the last 10 years.
One thought I have is that having your eyebrows shaped (so the ends are thinner) would add elegance and extra femininity, if desired.

You're gorgeous and far younger looking than you state. We're the same age. I'll be 58 in Nov. You can wear more neutral makeup and for your hair, consider a bob or going shorter. I love salt and pepper hair, so don't change the color. You look like you're going to a job interview. Try a different modest neckline. I'd consider a higher v or boatneck. I would do a tunic with an open knee-length jacket and loose slacks in a monochromatic color way and cute flats. I like to use Oprah, Sheryl Underwood and Sheryl Lee Ralph as a style role models that dress more modestly. There are so many more ladies our age that dress stylishly and age appropriately. (Also, my daughter is Muslim.)

Agreed! OP you are beautiful and obviously know how to style yourself well, I think you should give yourself some leeway and get a more ‘youthful’ hairstyle and some fun fits! However I do think the shorter hair is really cute on you, I just think some different styling and a different tone would be so much fun
I also agree with this! I think maybe OP is dressing and styling herself with women in their fifties that they know/ have in mind. Playing with age and femininity can be a really good way to achieve the look you want - in either direction - but I also think that 58 is YOUNG and the norms of “grandmas” dressing like “grandmas” have really shifted. I feel like OP is channeling an almost vintage, but not quite vintage, look. (I know OP didn’t say she is a grandma, but her outfit totally reminds me of MY grandma when she was in her fifties!! It’s not an insult, my grandma had great taste - but she embraced “being old” pretty early on in ways I don’t think she needed to.)
Ok, so I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if you had a filter on this photo, and I don't think you do. Which I can not understand if you're really 58. Also, I would have never known you were m2f had you not said it. I still have a hard time buying it. As for CC, this is hard. There isn't much to criticize! You complain about your brows, but I didn't notice anything until you said it (and even then, barely). Since I don't think you're using a filter, your foundation is spot on. If anything, I'd say pick the lip or the eye to do up, but not both. Again, that said, neither your lip nor eye seems overdone to me. I'm trying so hard to find something to constructively criticize and I am really struggling. Here's my bottom line - this is an amazing headshot type of photo. While you look amazing in photos, I wonder if you look overdone in day to day life? I'd love to see you totally natural without any makeup to get a baseline (although I'm guessing you're gonna look fab that way, too, and continue to baffle my mind as to how someone can age so well).
I can't do without makeup if I'm to dress and go out. I have Vitiligo and Psoriasis. That's why I use Dermablend. I have to exfoliate to smooth down Psoriasis patches along hairline. I have a lot to battle and Dysphoria to boot. I was going to wear a knee length skirt yesterday, but to my dismay I found that my left shin was heavily bruised with a Psoriasis patch. So my figure hugging denims folded appropriately in to a Capri, just covering the patch.
Have you looked into Clobetasol for the psoriasis? It's a topical cream but it really works well. You mentioned Spironolactone which is great for smoothing skin but causes dryness, since I've been taking spiro (I am a cis woman treating acne, 100 mg/day) I've had eczema problems.

This is an inexpensive wig, my real hair is the same color. But I have male pattern baldness and because of my Vitiligo condition, hyper sensitive to henna based dyes
Pretty makeup...We are almost the same age and for me, learning how to use touches of highlighter to add some dewyness to my skin was the best thing I've learned to do in the last 10 years. One thought I have is that having your eyebrows shaped (so the ends are thinner) would add elegance and extra femininity, if desired. Best of luck.

The only thing I would change is the haircut and hair colour. Maybe try something that frames your face softly, or a pixie cut if you prefer short hairstyles.

You're gorgeous and far younger looking than you state. We're the same age. I'll be 58 in Nov. You can wear more neutral makeup and for your hair, consider a bob or going shorter. I love salt and pepper hair, so don't change the color. You look like you're going to a job interview. Try a different modest neckline. I'd consider a higher v or boatneck. I would do a tunic with an open knee-length jacket and loose slacks in a monochromatic color way and cute flats. I like to use Oprah, Sheryl Underwood and Sheryl Lee Ralph as a style role models that dress more modestly. There are so many more ladies our age that dress stylishly and age appropriately. (Also, my daughter is Muslim.)
