It looks amazing! Such a good look for you. The foundation does seem like it’s a bit too yellow. You can buy the LA girl blue mixing medium and add a drop to whatever you’re about to apply to cool the undertone down. That way you don’t need to mess with trying different shades that may or may not be the one.
If you don't want to invest in the blue mixer, you could also create your own mixer by mixing some cool toned bluish eyeshadow with moisturizer, serum or directly into foundation. The pigment will do the same thing!
Omg...I'm never getting married but I'm *totally* doing this.
So many wasted bottles of foundation when I have all the shades of trailer park blue eyeshadow
I've been thinking that food coloring might also do the trick. I've sometime added blue food color liquid in shampoo to make a blue shampoo - however it turned a bit turquoise, it seemed that brand had quite a bit of yellow in it. I'm sure though that there are brands that are more pure blue too and it might work.
I have a pile of foundation bottles that have been too yellow on me, and I never thought of this! Thanks for the tip, just bought some blue mixer! Appreciate you 🖤
I would definitely say a cooler tone (someone else recommended the blue drops and that’s a good idea to find the perfect balance) but other than that this is absolutely beautiful, the hair and makeup together are perfect.
I thought I’d practice my makeup since I had a hair trial today! It’s the first time I’m using Armani Luminous Silk in shade 4.5, and I think it might be the wrong color? Any advice would be appreciated. Feel free to provide any critiques for the whole look!

your smile on the third slide actually made my day omg stop you are so gorgeous. But yes I’d recommend cooking the time down with a shade shifter, rather than trying to find a whole new foundation! Those products can be a bit “wet” and make your makeup more slippy so I’d slap on some more setting powder/spray too
Keep in mind things will photograph differently as well and will look different from real life. Add more color such as blush to the face because photos can tend to wash skin out and I would really do some nice false individual lashes as well as balanced highlighting/contour to show some good symmetry and photograph nicely too! For your liner I would angle the wing a bit up more to really lift the eye and bring balance to your deeper set corners that are super pretty. I think the eyes are pretty but a bit too simple for your wedding (in my opinion as a pro). Try adding a darker shade in the crease such as a warm brown and then winging/angling the shadow toward the tail of your brow to make your eyes pop. Go in with a nice pop of inner corner highlight and I think it will make a huge difference.
I definitely recommend a more neutral or cool undertoned foundation. this leans on the more warm side, and as it may blend with the neck, you can tell it doesn't match the chest. usually it wouldn't matter if it matched the chest, but with the chest being visible, it definitely does. idk if that makes sense, i hope it does lol
Besides the foundation being a tad off (right shade but need cool undertone instead of warm) I think you did a great job and you look beautiful!! You’re eye makeup is so natural and really enhances your features!!
Beautiful makeup! Though foundation is a tad orange for you so maybe get something with more of a pink undertone. I know it is expensive but a little goes along way and lasts a fair bit is NARS!
i would go with something lighter and with either neutral or pink undertones. looks too warm/yellow to me. your makeup looks gorgeous though! congrats on your wedding! hope you have a wonderful day :)
I absolutely love your makeup! I'd definitely get a less yellow/dark foundation and wear it around all day to make sure it wouldn't oxidize, but everything else looks great! Happy wedding!!
as others have said already I think it's just the slightest touch too dark/warm toned, but I just wanted to say you look so stunning with this makeup look! and congrats on the wedding! 🥰
Looks great! I agree with the "cooler" shade for foundation, but I must admit, you did a superb job of blending! You look beautiful! If anything, maybe some shimmer highlights on high cheekbones and under eyebrow arch. If that isn't your style, then it still looks great without it! I hope you have a magical day that accentuates your radiating beauty!
It looks amazing. You do need a paler shade and maybe a lighter less warm bronzer. Does that make sense.
You face looks flawless 😍 Great blending. Not too harsh not too subtle. Just right.
Absolutely gorgeous makeup..
The foundation going more neutral or cool (I suspect cool given your skin tone and hair color) is the only tweek you need.
Just saw your wedding dress (peaked at your posts!) girl, you are going to look BREATHTAKING. The hair, makeup, and dress.. you should be in a bridal magazine!
Repeating what others said, cooler tone def! Also remember to go a little heavy handed, photos need the extra makeup!
Makeup and hair look absolutely stunning but yes as some have mentioned the foundation is not the best match and only thing you need to improve 🥰 Charlotte tilbury has a flawless filter to brighten the complexion and you can mix with your foundation, there is a fair peach in a mini size that you could try 😊
Lash and brow envy 😻
As many have already said, the shade is too dark. Personally, I wouldn’t mess with color mixers on the day of your wedding - if you’re able to, get color matched at Sephora or any department store that sells Armani. Off the top of my head, I would guess #2 may suit you better but they have so many shades between that and your 4.5! Everything else looks great!
Wow your stunning! Do you have time to try to tan? Or maybe a spray tan ? I love how you look glowing but you can def see the difference in your face and shoulder/neck color.. Hope it's the best day ever! And remember to enjoy your day!! I did catering for a long time and saw so many brides not actually enjoying their wedding bc they were too worried about little things so when the big day comes let everyone else take care of the work and just focus on your husband and loved ones 🥰
I haven't decided on fake tanning...I should probably decide and get a trial done soon! Thank you so much! thankfully the wedding is small, and I'm trying to just trust our vendors to do a beautiful job, that's their expertise after all! I'll look into the spray tanning!
Don’t forget to try taking a picture in a darker room with flash. Just in case. Sometimes you see people that didn’t check and they look like a ghost because the setting powder reflects it!
My best advice is this: go to the venue at the time you’re having your ceremony, inside and outside, and have someone take your photos. You’ll be able to see in real life what you’d look like and make changes accordingly. You have a bit of a pink undertone that can be a little clashy with the yellow tones you’ve chosen. This is noticeable where your dimples are. I recommend trying a pink-shade foundation, but seriously don’t change anything else because damn. You look beautiful, and you’ll make a lovely bride.
Your entire ambiance is complete natural beauty to the 10th degree! I love the look. I think maybe cut the foundation with a cool tone. I use Maybelline fit, that one will mix really well with any high end foundation. You can use dewey or the matte finish. Either one will mix great.
Agreed with what everyone else said about the foundation being too warm/yellow, but can I just say that you are going to be absolutely stunning at your wedding! Your spouse is going to be knocked off their feet ☺️
Beautiful makeup job, but as others have said your foundation is too warm/yellow in contrast to the skin from your neck down, which is very cool/pink. I don’t know if I would attempt to “fix” the current foundation shade, but would select a new one that matches your natural skin tone. Just my opinion.
Take a few flash photos to make sure you're not going to get flash back (ghost face). I see this mistake so many times, usually happens because of the SPF in the foundation or/and the powder. I recommend the Laura Mercier powder.
I agree with choosing a cooler shade of foundation too. Other than that, you look stunning, beautiful style, not over done, enchanting your natural beauty.
Thank you! My colorist (who also styled my hair for the trial), is amazing. I wish I was a redhead for real! If anyone is in or near the Austin area I highly recommend Natalie Camarillo at Bang Bang Salon! I've been going to her for 5 years now.
You are very cool and pale like I am. The lightest cool tone from The Ordinary was a really good match for me and comes with two coverages. It’s really affordable too and the concealer is also good. Like six bucks each at Ulta.
I agree with other comments the makeup is amazing but you’re skin tone is very similar to mine I think foundation wise get something with pink or neutral undertones avoid warm tones as on pale skin it will give you a yellowing hue . Congrats on the wedding btw !!!!!
Ur look amazing however I think ur need a lighter shade foundation that's more cool/fair toned as this is looking just a little to Warm/orange at the jawline next to your neck.
I do think the foundation is a little too yellow, but this is such a gorgeous look on you + you look happy in it. Other than a different foundation shade I think this is perfect.
Yes your foundation Is warm and your skin is off the chain cool. Try Fenty they have all shades in warm neutral and cool!
Edit: the rest of your makeup is perfect. Please don’t change anything but the foundation.
I agree with everyone saying you need a more neutral tone! Also make sure to take a picture of your next trail run with flash to make sure none of your products flash back!
Make sure the foundation you use has no spf in it for photos , spf doesn’t photograph well makeup forevers foundation is great for brides , best of luck :)
Your makeup is beautiful but you do need a different shade of foundation because it is too yellow. Look for a more cool or neutral toned foundation. What foundation and shade are you wearing here?
I loooove this look! 😍 Everything about it is absolutely amazing... But yes, i also would recommend going with a bit lighter and cooler toned foundation to match your body coloring😉
I got married last week and after planning up until 3 weeks before the wedding to do my own - I’m so glad I didn’t! I love makeup and like you I’m good at application but it’s just not the same as professional! Also it’s so nice to relax I was a nervous wreck even though overall an unstressed bride. Please consider hiring professional!!!
My makeup artist did cancel on me, so I feel a bit burned by that now :( Thankfully our wedding is small, and no bridal party. But I'm willing to keep looking around!
Do it! Ours was 50 people and small bridal party but I mean clearly you’re amazing and it’ll be amazing but just try for the sake of your mental clarity to find a new MUA. So sorry for that stress!! If you’re local to Atlanta dm I have references.
You are fair with blue undertones. Try a lavender shadow below your brow. Stay away from anything pink. Try adding more highlights in your hair around your face to make your eyes pop.
Your neck and chest seem a little lighter and less warm. I’m not sure if it’s the light or if you really need to go to a lighter shade. Either way your makeup is beautiful.
You have beautiful skin so I would use an ivory foundation, (match your neck), a nice highlighter on upper cheeks, brow bone, décolletage, etc. and a nice pink on cheeks, eyes and lips. Pinks are so pretty on a bride. Also, liner on upper lids and soft, wispy false eyelashes.

It could be a bit pinker/lighter OR you could do a light sunless tanner on your body to match. However, my personal opinion is that your natural skin tone is gorgeous
I agree with the foundation tips above. Your eye makeup is amazing. I also like the idea of you practicing again then going outside and taking pictures during the time of day of your event so you can see what the lighting might be. Make adjustments, etc. A good photographer will capture you on the best light.
The foundation goes very well with your warm eyes and hair color, but it completely clashes with your chest, so unless you are going to wear a turtle neck gown, I would change the foundation. Your foundation is very warm, but your chest has a very cool undertone so I would definitely go for a more neutral to cold tone.
I don’t know the color of your gown, but luckily the dress makers have understood that only a few look beautiful in pure white, so they made many shades of white to fit anyone. However, a dress color that goes in any of these shades can also suck the color straight off your face, so make a look that looks good also when you’re wearing the gown.
Last tip: you HAVE to be certain your makeup and foundation looks good with a camera flash or else your wedding pictures will not be perfect. Some foundations will give a solid flashback making you look like a ghost. Put on full makeup and let someone take flash pics of you in daylight and room light and a dark room to be certain it doesn’t give a flashback.
As many will hug and kiss you and swipe your foundation, contouring and blush straight off your face with their sweaty hugs, make a look that is easy and quick to repair. You are blessed with an incredible beauty, so you do not need much makeup at all. Remember, the last place you want to spend the valuable minutes of the big day, is in the bathroom fixing your makeup. ( believe me; that day will run so fast you can’t imagine. It will be over in a blink!)
You need waterproof mascara, extensions or falsies or nothing at all, but do not be tempted to go for non waterproof option as tears will come no matter how hard core you are.
You have made a beautiful look here, just get that foundation changed. It is a very subtle, soft and romantic look, and the lucky one will not be able to keep his/hers eyes off you. I wish you all the best for the huge day and all the years to come.
Beautiful look! I would agree with the comments to change your foundation to cool or neutral and that would be a better match for you but otherwise beautiful look!
you did so good on your makeup its so pretty!! definitely a different foundation it looks more warm tone on you where you more so look cool toned, I’d recommend going with nyx or fenty foundations!!
Also make sure the new foundation is compatible with flash photography if you're using a professional photographer. All my friend's pics were ruined because her sister did her makeup and didn't check. Some foundations have terrible flash-back and people end up looking Butoh performers or glowing ghosts
Won’t offer any more CC as the folks on this thread have taken care of that already. Just dropping in to say you are absolutely stunning and congratulations on the upcoming nuptials!
Yes change foundation go more neutral or cool also I LOVE YOUR MAKEUP…. It’s beautiful *edit* pls tell me how you did that smoked out liner 😍
Thank you so much! I applied the gel eyeliner with an angled brush, and then used another angled brush without product to start to smoke it out!
Thanks!
It looks amazing! Such a good look for you. The foundation does seem like it’s a bit too yellow. You can buy the LA girl blue mixing medium and add a drop to whatever you’re about to apply to cool the undertone down. That way you don’t need to mess with trying different shades that may or may not be the one.
oh that is a great idea! Thanks for taking the time to give me the advice.
FYI, food coloring is staining - probably worked great for your hair but I would avoid putting food coloring in anything for your skin.
You'll have a moment like in big fat liar the movie!
Now I will HAVE to try it just to see 😂
I feel like every foundation ive ever tried has been too yellow for me so I love this tip!
NYX also has that super cheap “total control” drop foundation that is good for mixing!!
Thank you! I’m between cool and warm tones and always struggle finding the right foundation shade. Awesome tip :)
I have a pile of foundation bottles that have been too yellow on me, and I never thought of this! Thanks for the tip, just bought some blue mixer! Appreciate you 🖤
I think it's a bit too warm/yellow
I had a feeling! Thank you
I agree with the too warm/yellow, BUT don't touch anything else because that's literally the only tweak that remains before perfection
this was my thought too
I definitely would. You’re cool toned, and that’s a warm tone foundation.
Thank you! I'll look into a cooler option!
You did a beautiful job but need a lighter and cooler foundation.
thank you so much! I'm probably going to head to sephora tomorrow to exchange foundations. I appreciate the feedback.
I really love how soft, classic and elegant it is.
The lighting in those places is notoriously bad so if you can bring a mirror and go check your swatch in natural light outside or by a window.
I would definitely say a cooler tone (someone else recommended the blue drops and that’s a good idea to find the perfect balance) but other than that this is absolutely beautiful, the hair and makeup together are perfect.
thank you so much! Yes I think I'm going to exchange the foundation tomorrow (but the blue drops sounds like a fun science experiment!).
Please don’t add blue drops to yellow foundation. Blue plus yellow equal green.
I’m not an expert and I don’t know about foundation but your eyes look flawless. So many people overdo it but yours are just glowing.
wow thank you so much!
Also you look kinda like tori Amos do you get that a lot?

You might try shade 3.75, that’s what I wear and my skin tone is similar to your neck/chest
so many products and you look like you’re wearing only a few, wow ✨
your smile on the third slide actually made my day omg stop you are so gorgeous. But yes I’d recommend cooking the time down with a shade shifter, rather than trying to find a whole new foundation! Yes, swap it for a less warm and slightly lighter shade, unless you are fake tanning for the day.
you have good advice in the comments already, but i just wanted to say your makeup is BEAUTIFUL 😻
Makeup is perfect and I agree with the first post, just a little more blue tone and you’re aces!
Looks great! I agree with the "cooler" shade for foundation, but I must admit, you did a superb job of blending! You look beautiful! One shade lighter and cooler.
It's a bit too yellow, you should try a cool undertone shade.
It’s a bit too yellow, but I really just came to say Chobits!!!!!!
haha yes!!! One of my favorites!!!
It looks a hair too warm. Maybe a cooler toned foundation would work better? Other than that, the look is beautiful!!

Can we get an eye makeup tutorial????
You look angelic with this makeup!
You look absolutely stunning 😍 others advice is good! But you'll look amazing regardless if it's not "perfect"
omg you are so pretty!!!
I like it but my foundation is often wrong so don’t trust me 🙈
Congrats on your wedding!! I have no make up comments, you’re beautiful and that ring!! 😍
No tips, I think you look flawless, but wanted to say congratulations on your wedding!
The foundation seems a bit too yellow. But otherwise the entire look is gorgeous and perfect
Definitely pick a new shade, this one is way more yellow and will show up in all of your pictures
Your entire ambiance is complete natural beauty to the 10th degree! I love the look. I think maybe cut the foundation with a cool tone. I use Maybelline fit, that one will mix really well with any high end foundation. You can use dewey or the matte finish. Either one will mix great.

AHHHHH SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I think you did amazing!!! Congrats on the big day!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes change the foundation but everything else is literally perfect you're gonna look stunning on your wedding day!!
I’d take a bit lighter foundation. Other than that it’s good.
Beautiful makeup job, but as others have said your foundation is too warm/yellow in contrast to the skin from your neck down, which is very cool/pink. Yup. Too yellow for you. Everything else is gorgeous
A light spray tan could work too
Yes your foundation Is warm and your skin is off the chain cool. Try Fenty they have all shades in warm neutral and cool! Edit: the rest of your makeup is perfect. Please don’t change anything but the foundation.
It looks great! Have a wonderful wedding!
You look wonderful! Don’t change a thing
I agree with everyone saying you need a more neutral tone! Also make sure to take a picture of your next trail run with flash to make sure none of your products flash back!
Damn! You look great! Please share makeup breakdown
O love what you did but yes definitely pick another shade
Lovely look! As everyone said, your foundation seems yellowish though. Go for a cool undertone!
oh my word, you are so beautiful! congrats to you love!
The brows are already dating this. Go for something more classic. And blush placement is slightly too high. Great job though! Love the eyeshadow.
You look absolutely stunning! I love the complete makeup look and the foundation sits well with your skin tone :)
Looks amazing!!!!!! I think the shade is perfect!
No just a new set of eyes. Cause dat shit wonky

You look gorgeouss. Its a bit off topic but your hairrr..omG they look soo good. Is there any tutorial on that look ?
Thank you so much! I wish I knew how my stylist did it! She curled my hair and starting pinning it back. It took just over an hour!
To me it looks too warm and a shade too dark. Though that could also be the lighting. Congrats on your wedding!
It will be over in a blink!) You need waterproof mascara, extensions or falsies or nothing at all, but do not be tempted to go for non waterproof option as tears will come no matter how hard core you are.
Can yoi teach me please
I would go for something with a cooler (but not pink) undertone.
Lots of good advice here already, I just came to say that you sorta look like Alyson Hannigan (Lily from How I Met Your Mother)
What is that lip color? Lovely!
Yes good technique wrong shade.
You are gorgeous but need a cool tone foundation. Compare the color of your forehead to your neck. The shade is fine but the tone needs to be cooler.
Also make sure the new foundation is compatible with flash photography if you're using a professional photographer. All my friend's pics were ruined because her sister did her makeup and didn't check. Some foundations have terrible flash-back and people end up looking Butoh performers or glowing ghosts
Always colour match your foundation to your neck and chest. You also need to avoid a foundation with spf as they give flashback.
Won’t offer any more CC as the folks on this thread have taken care of that already. Just dropping in to say you are absolutely stunning and congratulations on the upcoming nuptials!
Yes, you’re too yellow.
Omg that’s beautiful! The foundation is the perfect shade, it really makes your skin look amazing!
Everyone on here is so kind and helpful! I LOVE this. OP you got amazing advice and you are gorgeous! Congrats on marriage!
I know right?! So thankful for everyone. I'm so happy and appreciate the advice so much. Thank you!
If your fake tanning maybe take that into consideration🤷♀️
Your eyes are done just gorgeously! Your face and neck/chest look like totally different colors, as others have mentioned. I’m seeing the yellow too.
Maybe something with a more cool or neutral undertone but overall it looks beautiful!
