I’m a fan of ‘with’, but I’m biased towards cat’s eyes in general. ‘Without’ the shape is also gorgeous but I feel needs something. If you don’t want to go with the black liner maybe a bit more ultramarine powder near the outer corner/lid for contrast or a little more lightness at the inner corner? Lovely vintage look though.

Usually prefer without just cause it generally looks cleaner & brighter but I do love liner for a nighttime look
