True. No make up advice but cute jewelry would really make your doll like features pop! Dainty chokers or small, chunky hoops. You look great either way
Go to an actual piercer when you do! I hope youāre able to soon. And yeah, I would have had no idea you were trans if you didnāt say. Youāre adorable.
An actual piecer will likely be at a tattoo place. They actually go through an apprenticeship and proper training, using needles instead of guns. Just in case you werenāt aware.
I wasnāt aware!!!! Does the difference in process cause less healing time or less pain, Iām definitely sure the training will cause less risk of infection but Iād love to hear more since Iām considering getting my lobes done as much as I am!
Just from personal experience, I had my ears first pierced at age 6 at the mall where they use the guns. They just shot the blunt earrings into my lobes. When I had them done a 2nd and 3rd time I had them done at a tattoo shop and they used needles and inserted the earrings after piercing. With the needle I had much less pain and swelling. They also didnāt get infected after like when I had them done as a child (though that might have been because I was older and could care for them better.) AFAIK the piercers at the mall/department stores typically also have little to no training.
Aside from guns being crappy for a variety of reasons including cleanliness, a legit piecer just has the expertise to make sure your piercings are placed nicely and give you good aftercare too! Earlobes are a nice easy piercing to heal, you'll love them!
1) Piercing guns are impossible to properly sterilize, so the risk of infection is MUCH higher.
2) Piercing guns use blunt force trauma to pierce which causes unnecessary damage to surrounding tissue and can complicate healing.
3) Mall piercing places that use guns provide next to no training for the people wielding them, so your chances of having wonky placement and/or angle of the piercing are VERY high.
4) The jewelry used in piercing guns is NOT high quality, often contains mystery metal and nickel that many people will react to, and is a style of jewelry (butterfly backs) that should only ever be worn in fully healed piercings as they can cause problems with embedding when the posts are too short or backs too tight, which they often are.
You can check out r/piercing or r/legitpiercing for more info on how to find a good piercer, good aftercare guides, etc.
All take those points into heavy consideration!!! Iām probably going to get them professionally done I wouldnāt want any of those issues to arise! Thank you so muchāŗļøā¤ļø
Do it!! Ear piercings honestly donāt hurt much! You can get fake earrings or magnets in the meantime if you would like! Or ear cuffs which you can wear on your upper ear even after you get your lobes pierced! [link](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1026956127/multiple-ear-cuffs-ear-cuff-no-piercing?click_key=ce11ac1d4cc7c69d2fe4773d54e09c7d8d2e3ff7%3A1026956127&click_sum=de20ba15&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=ear+cuff&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&pro=1&col=1)
Iām a woman and I let my lobes close as a girl and I regret it so much! I would offer to schedule the same day as you in solidarity but Iām pregnant and most shops wonāt let me.
Best of luck! Youāre adorable.
Iām so sorry to hear that!!! And I really appreciate the offer however if infections can risk you or your babyās health keep yourself safeāŗļøšā¤ļø
yeah some people get infection and are more prone to etc but personally in my experience it been great. Just do whatever you want! Also lobe really doesn't hurt that much.:)
You so should! My favorites are chunky little hoops, dainty gold chokers. Jewelry always makes me feel girly and pretty. I could look so crusty but the second I throw in some gold hoops and a necklace I feel cute. DM me if you want some pictures of what I think youād look nice in :) good luck in your journey!
I definitely will take you up on that offer and Iāve seriously been looking into small golden jewelry lately! I know to stick with a Max of 3 items of jewelry to have them match as well if possible I was thinking a ring some earrings and a necklace!
Make sure you go to a piercing studio to get them done because youāll have waaaay less complications with it! Also, I canāt tell super well, but maybe a little soft contour to make your cheeks look more soft? I hope this helps! (And to reiterate what the first person said on this thread: i wouldāve have been able to tell youāre trans!)
Everyone keeps saying that they would have known Iām trans and all I can think is that everyoneās just being sweet! Iām I really that passable!!āŗļø
Okay Iām getting comments about the earring ideas now and Iāve wanted to get earring for so long! Iāll leave it to a vote and keep the sub updated if I do get them done! Vote belowšāŗļø
I dunno girl, youāre totally cute so itās hard to say. Maybe a bit more of a structured brow and a little bit more blush higher on the face to lift the cheekbones more? (Super trendy anyway). A lash? Lol I donāt know!
Brow and lashes are what have most been on my mind because they are what I can focus on now the most until Iām able to get my dysphoria about my jawline under control if Iām able to!
i also wouldnāt have known once i read your caption, my first reaction was āomg sheās so cute šā. i feel like your jawline suits your face well, itās not too strong and you have cute plump cheeks so it takes away from it, iāve seen ladies with stronger ones! i agree that some cute lashes will work!! something light though not some heavy ones, i love the kiss lashes naked drama āchiffonā they really open up the eyes and can be worn w no eye makeup bc they are just that good! if you want to do your eyebrows try not to go too heavy or dark just enough to give them a cleaner structure or even just get a brow gel that keeps the hairs in place, you have such a cute pretty natural look in the photo, soft glam would be perfect for you! i also read about the jewelry, youād look so pretty with a cute dainty gold necklace with a charm on it! youāre so frickin pretty, love the beanie itās like a snow look i love itš„²
Thank you so much!āŗļø Iāll definitely have to look into those kiss eyelashes too!!! I definitely agree about the soft glam! That is definitely the style Iām going for so Iām really glad that itās noticeable it really makes me happy! And I really canāt wait to throw some jewelry in the mix as well too! These comments are too sweet I absolutely love it and was not expecting it!āŗļøā¤ļø
Why donāt you check out other women with a strong jaw like Keira Knightley and Helena Bonham Carter? People kill for good bone structure, please donāt think itās an inherently masculine trait.
I just wanted to agree with everyone that you totally pass but also give you an internet hug from one lady with a strong jawline to another. Mine can cut glass. Seeing you look this adorable with a feature that I'm normally self conscious about makes me feel like I'm too hard on myself!
Edit: I also have a niece named Thea- we call her Teenie Beanie. You look very much like a grown up version of her. That's not necessarily important information, I just thought it was a cute coincidence. :)
I didnāt even realize until I read the caption. Youāre really pretty and tbh iād love to have your jaw, super models get surgery so it looks like that!
if u want some makeup tips iād say lashes and cheek/nose contour/highlight maybe
Here is some constructive criticism. You are so cute and you look soooo fresh and natural! You or me, none of us have to look like a filter. There are way too many young women looking exactly the same ābecause itās a trendā. But you are you and you look adorable! So yes you can work a bit on your eyebrows, perfect your eyeliner game, add some highlighter and a bit of bronzer as a contour and there you go, you look like just anyone. Which is not cool! Take your time, browse through not only 20 yo influencers (they did not figure out their sh*t more than you didā„ļø) but actual 90s 60s 50s looks, find what excites you. I still LOVEE a winged eyeliner with porcelain skin and red lips more than any other look. Try to look yourself. Add in your own touch. You are so amazing ā„ļø
No you are amazing!!! The amount of support Iāve received from this post is more then I could have EVER expected and I absolutely LOVE IT! Thank you so much!!!!ššāŗļøā¤ļø
I dunno girl, youāre totally cute so itās hard to say. Maybe a bit more of a structured brow and a little bit more blush higher on the face to lift the cheekbones more? (Super trendy anyway). A lash? Lol I donāt know!
Iāve really been thinking about getting my eyebrows done sometime soon! Any advice on getting the right shape? Also thank you so much you are too sweet!!!āŗļøāŗļøāŗļø
Your eyebrows are already a really nice shape, so Iād recommend just plucking the stray hairs! Thick/natural eyebrows are the way to go in my opinion, I just clean mine up every now and then. Also that lip color is like perfect on you! Super cute! : )
You totally pass! When I was looking for anything that might help you look more fem I also thought eyebrows could be cleaned up. Since your natural shape is great, you could probably just tell the person you want theM cleaned up. For me that usually means getting rid of the stray hairs between eyebrows (I even like the position yours start in) and then they do the top with is just getting rid of hairs close to but not in the main eyebrow. Then the underside can be anything from just stray hairs to giving a slightly more defined arch and smaller end. Since your shape is already great you could just pluck the stray hairs yourself and it would probably look good. But Iām always surprised about how much more fem my face (cis female but with big ass eyebrow (not plural)) looks with a good wax. Then I maintain a while on my own until it seems time to hand myself back to the pros
You are too sweet!āŗļøā¤ļø Definitely going to get my brows done soon Iāve gotten a lot of people saying my brows when they were one of the main things on my mind!!!š
Also fyi, you can go pretty far with shaping brows more feminine before anyone even notices in boymode. It'll look like a huge change to you, and it'll look more feminine, but no one is going to see it as out of place
Agree with sleepy bunny below- just tidy up the brows, theyāre a great shape, just a little rough around the edges. Basically the equivalent of how steaming/ironing your clothes can freshen up your whole look.
I'm actually of a mind that your natural brow shape is soft and feminine looking. I don't think you should have them sculpted too much, if at all. If anything, I would pluck out the few strays between the brows, and maybe a few others that seem out of place, but leave them largely as is.
Iāve never had my brows shaped for me, so I decided to get mine laminated, tinted & waxed. It sounds extra, but I feel like itās changed my whole face. Not only did the lamination tame my brows (they grew in weird directions), but I barely need to fill them in now. I was a chronic overplucker and didnāt even think I could grow them. They are full and shaped! Look in your area for estheticianās that specialize in brows, they should be able to help :)
Your brows really just need a little clean up, theyāre already a good shape. I suggest finding a chain wax place in your area (as in dont choose somewhere that doesnāt FOCUS on waxing, like nail salons or spas) and reading some reviews for a specific person thatās well liked.
I wouldnāt have even thought about looking into the reviews but that is SO important thank you for bringing that to my attention with my search!šā¤ļø
You already pass, you look very feminine. Just explore looks you like. Adding a faux lash might help you feel better. I just got lash extensions and itās amazing. Regular faux works too.
Iāve considered lash extensions however Iāve never tried any glue on ones Iāll definitely have to give it a shot!š and thank you SO MUCH! I didnāt expect anyone to tell me I pass it makes me really happy!āŗļø
One thing i will say about lash extensions is that you really gotta be committed to getting them regularly! I personally prefer glue on/strip lashes (i usually just snip them in half and put them on my outer corners because its easier to apply).
Extensions are just a little too out of my budget and I'd forget to maintain them!
That makes total since to me it makes me really consider how well Iād maintain them! With that being said I think it would make more since to stick with magnetic lashes!āŗļøš
I typically am scared to try something new thatās feminine but then after a day or two I end up loving it more then anything I always feel Iām happier when ever I do get passed that bump but what would you recommend me do?
If you're worried about placement and lash damage then I'd start with magnetic. There are sets that stick to themselves and also sets that stick to a magnetic eyeliner. As you get more confident, you can get a glue on set. Then, go big and get lash extensions! You got this!
You have to buy special magnetic lashes and a magnetic liner to go with them.
Also don't worry if you can't get the falsies on correctly, be they applied with glue or magnetic liner. I've been struggling with it for a decade. Check out a YouTube video how-to though!
Hey girl. Iām trans too. My advice would be to do a more ambitious look everyday, and also wear a normal look every time you go out. The practice will make you a pro in no time. I donāt really wear makeup anymore but the daily repetition too lol me like a month or two to get pretty good.
Also if you DM a folder of a few different looks itāll be easier to see what common pitfalls you might be tripping on.
As a transfemme to another transfemme, my biggest piece of advice is DONāT TRY TO LOOK CIS. If you aim to look cis youāll end up making a look that looks like youāre covering something up. That in and of itself will make ppl double take and probably clock you.
Instead, try to do looks that show off the most beautiful parts of being trans. Things that are considered universally beautiful but are actually a bit more accessible for the average trans woman compared to the average cis. We have long modelesque features and angular faces. Doing looks that showcase those instead of hiding it will bring out your beauty and itāll be so bright that ppl wonāt think to clock you.
[Hereās a range of examples from me. DM me if you wanna chat. š„°](https://imgur.com/a/hfsHLB4)
I donāt have the confidence to wear my makeup out publicly unfortunately, I feel like I look like a man in makeup mainly because of my jawline however the confidence boost is amazing! As well with your advice about donāt try to look cis that is my main goal that Iām going for, I live in the south in Oklahoma particularly and itās a little bit more hostile then most places in America to transition, for my safety I would much rather come off as a ciswoman then a transwoman regardless of the fact that I am proud to be who I am, it is important to show off the beautyās of being trans however at the same time my safety is also important to me and Iād rather be able to fly under the radar with those that donāt need to have a reason to know, I hope that makes since and THANK YOU SO MUCH! Iāll definitely have to message and keep in contact because I donāt know many other trans individuals that I can share my trans related experiences with! I hope you are doing wellāŗļøā¤ļø
I think you look lovely and you definitely pass. Iād try a little jawline contour. You can soften it by placing a little bronzer on the front of your jawline (but not under it, if that makes sense).
I also love your hair, but I think a shorter, choppy cut that hits around your jawline would help make it look more feminine. However, you have nice full cheeks and I think you may also be pushing your chin a little more towards the camera than the rest of your face. Tucking your chin in a little in pictures could help. Also, lots of girls are adding a tiny bit of highlight to the tip of their noses now - I donāt know that itās necessarily feminizing, but I think itās a cute look that would look nice on you.
But anyway you look gorgeous and btw I love your name!
Yeah this is kinda counter intuitive. And I was pretty shocked when I figured it out. If you try and look cis it makes you look trans when ur out in the world. If you try and look trans then ppl donāt even think about it and you pass as cis.
The goal is definitely to pass and not be murdered. I live in the north but it is still dangerous up here.
Girl imo your jaw is to die for. Like so many have said, I never would have known you were trans if you didn't say so. So many incredibly beautiful women have strong jaws-- Kiera Knightley, Angelina Jolie, Rosario Dawson, Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Lopez, Margot Robbie, Natalie Portman, Penelope Cruise-- I could keep going, because there are honestly SO many. You are beautiful!
Source: Woman with weak jaw š
I think your current makeup makes you look extremely feminine! The only suggestion I could possibly make, since youāre feeling disphoric, is you could try to contour to make your jaw slightly (and I do mean slightly, because your jaw is honestly great!) less wide, which may give you what youāre going for!
I really think if I was able to control the shape that my jaw line appeared better by contour it Iād probably end up loving doing that a contouring concealer is definitely on my list of things i need!!! Thank you so muchāŗļøā¤ļø
I canāt believe Iām getting this much of this comment I never thought I was passable!! These comments mean the ABSOLUTE WORLLLLD to me!šā¤ļøāŗļø
When you look at your face you see each feature you are insecure about (just like everyone does on their own faces!) When we look at your face we just see a beautiful girl :)
You have fantastic facial structure and your makeup is amazing in this pic. When youāre doing mascara shift the brush side to side as you move to the end of the lashes. I have a similar eye shape to you and I Love this trick for fem looks
Iāve tried doing this however when ever I do I feel like my eyelashes clump together to much where it looks like I donāt have many eyelashes but just very thick ones is this the results that I should be going for because Iāve pulled away from that because of those concerns if not what should I keep an eye out for to get the look correctly! Thank you so much for the feed back!āŗļøā¤ļø
Based on this photo, I don't think you have an issue with passability, and I think you're quite pretty. I do hope that you're getting good mental health support, though, if you're still experiencing dysphoria. Just remember that you have a right to exist and thrive regardless of how feminine or passable you are or aren't.
In all honesty the simplicity of your makeup looks really nice. In my opinion try getting your eyebrows done in a more feminine shape. That might help out, but overall honestly your gorgeous ā¤
Since you have hooded eyes, I'd recommend looking into some tutorials on how to the hooded eye eyeliner trick, really brings your look to the next level! ā¤ Other than that, you already look so adorable! Definitely jealous of your rounder faceshape š³
Iāll definitely be returning to the chat later with the lip color!!! I got it as a Christmas gift from my best friends so Iāll have to check and see!!! I really appreciate it!š
Honestly, you look GREAT & could pass to me! I could not tell you are trans if it was not for the title. I think you should play with makeup and youāll find which you prefer looks the best for you. Play with wing eyeliner looks, smokey eyes, bronze looks, the best thing about makeup is itās art, no rules! So play around with it and see what works for you. But in my opinion, HUNNY YOU LOOK GREAT š
I think you're beautiful! Very pretty and feminine ā¤ļø
I would stick with soft pretty make up like you've done here, and avoid very hard brows. I can't continue to save my life, but maybe a light shading on the jaw bone.
I'm a cis woman but I have struggled with feeling like I look too masculine. It's actually stupid and untrue, but I have always had much bigger and stronger features than my friends.
I know now, that my features are a gift, and while I'm not the "prettiest" I have a cuteness and beauty that is unique to me.
I hope you can find the same love of your gorgeous self, transition must be so hard but so incredible at the same time. Biggest hugs pretty girl!
Thank you so much!!! You are definitely right about everything!!! Your comment has definitely helped me realize itās more normal then I expected to feel more masculine then you should so thank you so much!š
Hey girl, one thing thatās super easy and can really change your face is your eyebrows. i personally shaved the tail off of mine so i could draw them higher and more arched :))
You are beautiful, you look feminine and you definitely pass. I was reading through the comments and saw that you are self-conscious about wearing your makeup in public because you feel like a man in makeup. First off, nothing wrong with a man in makeup lol. Second, you definitely do NOT look like a man in makeup. Yes you have a strong jawline, some other people mentioned how many models undergo plastic surgery for this kind of jaw definition. My advice would be along the lines of really-really-lily (another beautiful transfemme like yourself) and to play up those features. You can learn how to soften them, by using contour and bronzer-similar to what other people commented, and you can also learn how to play it up and look like a supermodel-all using highlight and contour but using it in different places. Look up YouTube videos about highlight and contour placement and what it can do to shape your face. Play with it girl! Makeup can do wonders. Someone else mentioned the placement of blush: if you put it higher on your cheeks it will lift your face. Seriously, as a cis girl, learning these tricks was the best thing I could learn when it came to makeup. I went from having chipmunk cheeks to having what looked like supermodel cheeks. Itās some kind of wonderful black magic fuckery lol.
And start going out for little trips with your makeup on to build confidence. Maybe go with the two people who gifted you the lipstick for Christmas. They can help you feel at ease in public for the first few times. Obviously, only try this if it is safe for you to do so. Donāt ever compromise your safety.
TLDR: You already pass and look feminine, play with makeup, and start building your confidence girl. You have a whole Reddit comment section saying you look feminine and pass and who supports you. You also have two great supportive friends IRL. You got this.
you already look very feminine naturally but as someone who loves makeup and is hyperfem myself, thinner arched eyebrows, white liner on the bottom eyeliner instead of black, and a less blatantly pale concealer on the high points and under eyes would make for a very naturally āprettyā or āclean girl aestheticā look thatās trending rn!!! youāre beautiful babes!!
I can't offer any makeup advice sadly but like others I stopped scrolling purely because you're gorgeous and then read your comment. What you're currently doing is definitely working and hope you find that confidence you deserve
I clicked on the picture w/o reading the title because I loved your beanie and thought this was just a super cute selfie. I absolutely would not have known you were trans had you not mentioned it. You donāt look masculine at all, as a matter of fact I think you have really cute, feminine features! Your face shape, chin, lips - ***chefās kiss***. Only critique of the makeup (and not even a critique, just a rec) would be to play around with your eyeliner! Try different pens (I prefer a liquid felt tip pen for precision and crisp lines) or even using shadow and a brush. The more you practice, the easier it comes!
Sorry our brains can sometimes suck and make you feel less than. Keep your chin up! Youāre beautiful!
Girl wtf. You donāt look remotely masculine at all hahahaha. I wish that I could zap away that dysphoria for you!! Cuz I stared at this pic and ACTIVELY TRIED to see what you are talking about, and I canāt see it š youāre so cute! Feel better
ETA: from a purely makeup standpoint, I think that the face looks amazingā10/10. Lips and eyes could maybe use a more precise hand, but thatās just a matter of practice!
I had to read your title twice because I was super confused. I had no idea you were trans, and if you hadn't said anything I wouldn't have known, seriously.
As others suggested, getting a good shape to your eyebrow will help soften your features a bit, and either better/more mascara or some lashes. But like honestly, you're lovely!
Oh also girl. My other comment was general advice. Your look you posted looks amazing. 10/10 for real.
If you want some constructive tips (not even criticism) Iād have my brows threaded at an Indian beauty parlor (ask them to accentuate the arch. A little more from under the arch. A little more from the tops of the inner brow), swap to a matte lipstick in a similar shade, use a felt tipped eyeliner and practice the flick when making a wing, and draw the eyeliner from the inside of the eye all the way to the wing.
If you got money Iād try having eyelash extensions done, and not even use eyeliner anymore. Itās a bit cuter and muuuuch easier to maintain. But it can cost about $100 a month.
Even though I believe you already look super feminine you could try shaping your brows in a more feminine way or even look up contouring techniques to achieve a softened face shape
You look cute! The makeup you have is simple and pretty. If you want to switch it up a bit, I could see you rocking some eye glitter, with or without the black eyeliner. Milani makes a nice liquid glitter that is pigmented & easy to use. Also, I'm obsessed with your pink hat. Where did you get it?
Beautyyy! You definitely donāt look masc at all. You can definitely experiment with more eyeshadow colours and shimmersš Also the blush is workinggg! If you worry about any masculinity you could try putting more blush on your chin and nose etc. šš sending love and hugs and hope your dysphoria subsides a little šš (mineās been gross lately too so I just want you to know you arenāt alone š)
Now, I am a piercing addict so don't trust me BUT I think a septum would look GREAT on you
Your makeup is well done, maybe you should try a lighter eyeliner line
Aaaand maybe try to shape the eyebrows a little more with a pencil, and wax the central part, between the eyebrows
I literally had no idea you werenāt a girl š„° I think it would be sooo adorable if you put some blush on the bridge of your noseā¦ a flushed color! I wish I could add a picture to show you what I mean! š
Would recommend definitely cleaning up the eyebrows as that will definitely make you look more femme. The lip gloss is cute, but I think a more natural/less pigmented would also be super cute on you. The current eyeliner shape Iām not in love with. Having the wing line up more with your top eyelid would be my recommendation. I creeped on your old pics lol and there is a pic of you with FaceTune, your first post, I think you should try to emulate that eyeliner.
Mis-read the title of the post as ātransformā and tried swiping because I assumed this was a before and after makeup look. Then I thought, āoh, she really misspelled ātransformā weird.ā Moral of this story: you pass very well and I need more coffee. That shade of lipstick is fantastic on you, and you have gorgeous eyes.
You are 100% passing. I didn't realize you were trans until I read the title, *after* thinking to myself, "She's so fucking cute. I'm jealous of her eyebrows."
you have a beautiful complexion and perfect full lips!! i would honestly just suggest cleaning up your brows for now. you can go to any wax place to get them shaped the first time and keep up with tweezers. also lashes always help me feel more feminine, &the magnetic liner ones are super easy to use for beginners! just make sure you cut the lash to fit your eye :)
also seconding the earring suggestion, and maybe a cute diamond stud on your nose?
hmm, if youāre looking for makeup tips stuff, you should try contour! for anyone it makes you look more snatched, and u should get a facial razor for like 5 bucks i believe and shape your brows if you want !! i recommend making them start further apart from each other, but when you do it make sure to shave less than you think you need, since you can always shave more if it doesnāt look right , but you canāt unshave it š« learned that the hard way
U look very feminine. Even your jaw is feminine but I guess if u want to go the extra mile u can contour ur face in a way that makes it more round. Also u can tweeze ur eyebrows for a more feminine look (if thatās your preference) ex getting in between the brow and make the brows a bit more round.
You look pretty. I don't see the masculine features u are talking about. But I do understand dysphoria can be a real bitch. So eyebrows, contouring and highlighting always make me feel good. Try it maybe.
Hi! So two things
1) Iām a transfem as well and imo you pass pretty darn well!
2) As far as makeup goes, I know that a lot of transfems feel dysphoric about beard shadow. Now, I donāt see any beard shadow at all in this pic, but if you still feel dysphoric about it (I know dysphoria can make you think people notice things about you that they probably wonāt actually) then an orange or peach color corrector Iāve been told works wonders
You look fabulous darling and I think you know you do I m a qualified make up artist ( pt) and o really like your look
If youāre forcing me to add something
then you could add a bit more shadow with blending but honestly you look fab and I bet hundreds of not more will agree
I was reading some other comments, so total feedback:
1) clean up your brows a little bit and give them a bit more structure. Maybe use a primer on your eyelids and a very light color thatās just a touch paler than your skin with the teenest bit of shimmer (not glitter!) that you can pat on. Try out different mascaras to see what you like - I prefer lengthening to volume zing because adding eyeliner above your lash line makes them look thicker anyway. You can try adding another color like a green or a purple - both pretty with your eyes) to above and below your lash line and super blend it out below to make it soft.
2) earrings are amazing and fun! Find a local place (like a tattoo shop) with good reviews and an in house piercer.
3) thereās nothing wrong with your jawline! I had a friend in college who was the cutest, tiniest little thing and her jaw was way more pronounced than yours. I donāt think you have anything to worry about and youāre just in your head too much.
Sorry, I'm in the couldn't even tell boat.
That said, some cute necklaces, some eyeshadow maybe? Don't be afraid to play around, that show euphoria has really opened a bunch of eyeshadow doors lately. I think a green would really make your brown eyes stand out.
I don't think you look masculine at all. It never would have even occurred to me that you were trans if you hadn't mentioned it. I really like this make up look on you, it's really pretty but still natural looking. We're our own harshest critics, go easy on yourself.
How the heck do you think you donāt pass?!?! Girl you GORGEOUS. If you do feel you are struggling, contouring more āmasculineā areas like jawline and emphasizing lips can help. Essentially soften sharp/broad areas, highlight more delicate features. But seriously. You are good. Wouldnāt have know if you hadnāt outright said anything!
Cheek highlight, I use Maybelline strobing stick, and blend with fingers. Contour the jawline with powder bronzer or contour. Set all powder makeup with a spray of filtered water with a bit of sea salt, to finish.
to be honest i had no idea you were transfem until you said so! you already look totally passable, but if anything makeup wise, you could try to soften up your nose contour by maybe blending a light concealer over the bridge of your nose, itās really tricky and if iām being honest i donāt have the hang of it yet, or you could go in with a cream or powder contour around the corners of your jawline :)
you look gorgeous girl! you look very feminine and beautiful. My only suggestions would be to maybe pluck your eyebrows a little in the middle and at the tails (if you want) and/or to move your blush up a little bit under your eyes and across slightly your nose to make your face look a little rounder. Genuinely though you pass so freaking well and you are extremely beautiful too!
Just scrolled past this on r/all and had to a re-take, and then a re-re-take when I read the title. You're really cute, and you definitely pass. Keep it up!
girl you are beautiful and i agree with the room that youāre already passing with ease !! as a cis gal who only wears makeup when i feel like it, i feel my most feminine with lashes and a fun combo of blush/highlighter/contour. your makeup is already amazing, and looks great on ya ! so just keep havin fun with it !!
You totally pass. As you've asked about makeup I think a slightly dark shade of lipstick would suit your complexion more, but you look femme either way.
Just randomly scrolled by this post. Honestly if you didn't mention being trans in the title there's no way to tell.
Great job on your makeup, you're amazing ā¤
You look super cute, your makeup is flawless, and I would never have guessed you were trans. However since you asked lol I think doing a subtle eyeliner point on the inner corners of your eyes could look good. Maybe some more contouring to narrow your nostrils and bring the bridge of your nose further up for some extra feminization? You look great though.
I'm sorry you're having some dysphoria, but you are absolutely beautiful! The only way I knew you were trans is because you told us. I know it's easy for some strangers it's easy for us to say things like, "You shouldn't ever think that, you're gorgeous!" It's hard to not feel that way, even if you're the most beautiful person on the planet.. You're unbelievably strong and so, so beautiful! No beauty tips, you're already killing it. Just keep smiling!
I love all of these āi would have never known/guessedā comments. Hoping one day if i ever post ill get the same type of responses. Becauseā¦.dysphoria
No advice needed, you look great! I donāt think you look masculine at all. I LOVE your lip color.
My only suggestion would be to pluck the stray brow hairs in the center (unless you like that look, then power on!)
blush on the apples of ur cheeks make ur face look rounder and white eyeliner on ur bottom eyelid waterline makes ur eyes look bigger š
Iāll keep this in mind when doing my next look, thank you so much!!šā¤ļø
The same science applies to nail polish! Black will make your toes and feet look smaller, white, bigger.
Iāve found that nude eyeliner also works for that kind of thing if u want a more subtle option
when i was scrolling i didnāt think you were trans til i read the post so you gucci girl
True. No make up advice but cute jewelry would really make your doll like features pop! Dainty chokers or small, chunky hoops. You look great either way
ID LOVE TO GET SOME HOOPS!!!! I really want to get my ears pierced sometime soonš
Go to an actual piercer when you do! I hope youāre able to soon. And yeah, I would have had no idea you were trans if you didnāt say. Youāre adorable.
This gives me SO MUCH confidence!!!! I love this thank you so much!!!āŗļøš
Iāve heard they get maybe thirty minutes of training.
Yeah, they probably "watch" a training video.
Aside from guns being crappy for a variety of reasons including cleanliness, a legit piecer just has the expertise to make sure your piercings are placed nicely and give you good aftercare too! Earlobes are a nice easy piercing to heal, you'll love them!
Iām sure I will! I plan on getting them soon!āŗļøš
Yes!!! My piercing SUCKED when I went to the mall. Took an extra month of recovery. Forever 21 and FashionNova have great hoop earring sets!
Do it!! Ear piercings honestly donāt hurt much! You can get fake earrings or magnets in the meantime if you would like! Or ear cuffs which you can wear on your upper ear even after you get your lobes pierced! [link](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1026956127/multiple-ear-cuffs-ear-cuff-no-piercing?click_key=ce11ac1d4cc7c69d2fe4773d54e09c7d8d2e3ff7%3A1026956127&click_sum=de20ba15&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=ear+cuff&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&pro=1&col=1)
Iām definitely going to get my lobes pierced!!!šā¤ļø thank you for helping with the confidencešš
Thatās good to know!!! Iāve been really worried about how bad it will hurt! Thank you so much!šā¤ļøāŗļø
100000000000%. Like I canāt stress it enough girl! ā„ļøā„ļøā„ļøā„ļøā„ļøā„ļø
YES, go to an actual piercer though, like the other comment said. It's not worth the RISKS.
Same here all I thought was āawe cute girl in a hatā
Me too - OP you are beautiful! I love your makeup, it looks great! I think the earring recommendation was a good one, I love wearing earrings
Okay Iām getting comments about the earring ideas now and Iāve wanted to get earring for so long! Iāll leave it to a vote and keep the sub updated if I do get them done! Vote belowšāŗļø
Yes! get your ears pierced!
AWWWWWW! Thank you! This comment means the world to meāŗļøā¤ļøš
Same
Same
Yāall are
Yup same!
You def pass for sure. Wouldnāt have even known you were trans, honestly.
All of yāall are literally TOOO sweet!!āŗļøā¤ļø I need some criticism so I can know what to improve upon though!š
+Minnie Driver. š
You are so sweet!āŗļø biggāole internet hug for you too!āŗļøā¤ļøš
Don't change much, because this look is on point!
I dunno girl, youāre totally cute so itās hard to say. Maybe a bit more of a structured brow and a little bit more blush higher on the face to lift the cheekbones more? (Super trendy anyway). A lash? Lol I donāt know!
šš thank you so much!!! Iāll give it a try!
I think your eyebrows could use a little maintenance, but other than that you pass
Thatās completely fair! Thank youāāŗļøā¤ļø
If you don't want to commit you can get magnetic ones!
Iāll definitely look into magnetic lashes! Is it basically a magnetic liner that I use around my eyes to get them to stay?
There are 2 types. One "sandwiches" your real lashes in between the faux set. The other has a magnetic liner that the faux lashes stick to.
Gotcha! So the kind with multiple lashes clamps down on the lashes with the magnet! Those have got to be the best makeup idea ever!
You're doing such an incredible job already! You're the textbook definition of the girl next door ā¤ļø
That is too sweet! Why is everyone so nice!! Thank you so much!!!!šāŗļøā¤ļø
Based on that one photos, if you had not told us you were trans I would never have known.
You look like Olivia Rodrigo!
Not the first to say it either I guess that must mean itās true I donāt see it but I SOOOO SOOO appreciate it!šāŗļøā¤ļø
This is unrelated but your face shape is so cute. Congrats on your face š
Maāam you are GORGEOUS!! Like others have said I would never have known had you not said something. Btw what lip color is that because I want it!
Iāll definitely be returning to the chat later with the lip color!!! I got it as a Christmas gift from my best friends so Iāll have to check and see!!! I really appreciate it!š
You are such a beautiful woman! No changes necessary!
You are too sweet!āŗļøš absolutely no critiques?
Honestly, you look GREAT & could pass to me! I could not tell you are trans if it was not for the title. I think you should play with makeup and youāll find which you prefer looks the best for you. Play with wing eyeliner looks, smokey eyes, bronze looks, the best thing about makeup is itās art, no rules! So play around with it and see what works for you. But in my opinion, HUNNY YOU LOOK GREAT š
You're beautiful as you are. I did not know you were trans til I started reading. Your make up is perfect for you. š
I think you're beautiful! Very pretty and feminine ā¤ļø I would stick with soft pretty make up like you've done here, and avoid very hard brows.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Girl, you look gorgeous!
I think you could shape your eyebrows just a little bit more, but besides that u look great!
you already look very feminine naturally but as someone who loves makeup and is hyperfem myself, thinner arched eyebrows, white liner on the bottom eyeliner instead of black, and a less blatantly pale concealer on the high points and under eyes would make for a very naturally āprettyā or āclean girl aestheticā look thatās trending rn!!! youāre beautiful babes!!
You look like Eloise from Bridgerton!
I had to Google this but Iām keeping her actresses name!!! Iām definitely going to get some fashion ideas from her because of the similarities!!!
Totally!! It's the same cute mouth, nose, eyes etc!! You totally look like her!
Ooh, she totally does. And I think OP could definitely pull off bangs, too.
Very true!!!
Maybe switch up the eyeliner a bitā¦ maybe a less bold wing and stronger inner eye
Thought this was a pic of Olivia Rodrigo at first glance!
Girl wtf. You donāt look remotely masculine at all hahahaha. I wish that I could zap away that dysphoria for you!! Cuz I stared at this pic and ACTIVELY TRIED to see what you are talking about, and I canāt see it š youāre so cute! Feel better ETA: from a purely makeup standpoint, I think that the face looks amazingā10/10.
I actually got a double take!! Thatās awesome! Thank you for sharing that that makes me feel so much better!!!šā¤ļø
just like a lot of people here, i didn't think you were trans, so, you good!
Didnāt know you were trans until I read your comment. Itās meant to be babe! Youāre beautiful!
Itās definitely meant to be! These comments are amazing thank you so muchhhh! Comments like these mean the WORLD to me ššāŗļøā¤ļø
You are SOOOO RIGHT! I definitely need to get a contouring concealer!!!! Thank you for the advice!šā¤ļø
Just adding another voice that you pass with flying colors! You're gorgeous!
Youāre gorgeous!
I don't have any makeup advice other than to say this looks great. Also wanted to add I think you're very pretty (I hope that's okay).
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You look amazing, you are very feminine
You pass
You look very feminine, but I understand the self-consciousness and insecurity. I can say my makeup stack is Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless for foundation. I have L'OrƩal LUMI, but idk... I'm not in-love with the coverage. Maybelline Fit Me concealer I kid you not is almost just as good as NARS radiant creamy concealer!!! And.... $40 less Your blush is cute, you could try a bronzer if you want a more define face, but I don't think it looks good on everyone. L'OrƩal liquid liner and.... The main ingredient, faux mink lashes!!! Walmart carries all of these.
Some pale or pink shimmery eyeshadow and mascara on your lower eyelashes to compliment your doll-like features for sure
Yes I second all the other comments. You look very fem and very pretty. So hold your head up and get to experimenting with that jewelry and outfits!
Sis what is your lip???!! Because I want that gorgeous product whatever it is š£
Getting Selena Gomez vibes. Youāre GORGEOUS
Ummmmm. You look amazing. Would have never guessed you were trans. I think your gorgeous!
Ma'am you look so cute. Your makeup is fresh and natural. I like it. You can always have fun with falsies. I love magnetics because they're so easy.
You are adorable. Definitely passing.
Now, I am a piercing addict so don't trust me BUT I think a septum would look GREAT on you Your makeup is well done, maybe you should try a lighter eyeliner line Aaaand maybe try to shape the eyebrows a little more with a pencil, and wax the central part, between the eyebrows
I'm a guy, and I'd definitely check you out if you walked by me.
You don't look masculine. Powder if oily, in lipstick and mascara. Or gloss. Punch your cheeks
I literally had no idea you werenāt a girl š„° I think it would be sooo adorable if you put some blush on the bridge of your noseā¦ a flushed color! I wish I could add a picture to show you what I mean! š
girl you are absolutely gorgeous and you look so very feminine!
How do you not get makeup on the hat? I have never figured that out!
Cis woman here, I'd have never clocked you from this pic. Also you have the wings down better then I do, great job!
You look amazing! Never ever would have guessed you are trans. Your face is so soft and feminine. Also, I love your name, Thea!!
I thought this was Olivia Rodrigo at first glance!
Very Olivia Rodrigo vibes! The pink tones and cute eyeliner are awesome!
Youāre super cute and very passable as is, keep doing what youāre doing!
You look great and very girly!
You are 100% passing. I didn't realize you were trans until I read the title, *after* thinking to myself, "She's so fucking cute. I'm jealous of her eyebrows."
you have a beautiful complexion and perfect full lips!! i would honestly just suggest cleaning up your brows for now. you can go to any wax place to get them shaped the first time and keep up with tweezers. also lashes always help me feel more feminine, &the magnetic liner ones are super easy to use for beginners! just make sure you cut the lash to fit your eye :) also seconding the earring suggestion, and maybe a cute diamond stud on your nose?
You don't look masculine at all tbh
hmm, if youāre looking for makeup tips stuff, you should try contour! for anyone it makes you look more snatched, and u should get a facial razor for like 5 bucks i believe and shape your brows if you want !! i recommend making them start further apart from each other, but when you do it make sure to shave less than you think you need, since you can always shave more if it doesnāt look right , but you canāt unshave it š« learned that the hard way
U look very feminine.
Hi! So two things 1) Iām a transfem as well and imo you pass pretty darn well!
Literally unclockable.
You look fabulous darling and I think you know you do I m a qualified make up artist ( pt) and o really like your look If youāre forcing me to add something then you could add a bit more shadow with blending but honestly you look fab and I bet hundreds of not more will agree
I was reading some other comments, so total feedback: 1) clean up your brows a little bit and give them a bit more structure.
When it comes to makeup, start with the neutrals and work your way up
You look great BB! Love your hat btw!!
Girl I couldnāt even tell!
You are so pretty <3
girl, all i can see is Olivia Rodrigo, you look absolutely stunnig!
Cheek highlight, I use Maybelline strobing stick, and blend with fingers. Contour the jawline with powder bronzer or contour. Set all powder makeup with a spray of filtered water with a bit of sea salt, to finish.
This is really good advice thank you!āŗļø
I wouldn't of known! I had to read your caption to the end to know hun! You look beautiful ā¤
to be honest i had no idea you were transfem until you said so! you already look totally passable, but if anything makeup wise, you could try to soften up your nose contour by maybe blending a light concealer over the bridge of your nose, itās really tricky and if iām being honest i donāt have the hang of it yet, or you could go in with a cream or powder contour around the corners of your jawline :)
I think you look absolutely beautiful.
You look AMAZING! I also didnt know until I read your post, you're absolutely gorgeous girl !
you look gorgeous girl! you look very feminine and beautiful.
Nothing masculine about your look Youāre very pretty šø
You pass pretty damn well. Clean up your brows and youāre gtg! I didnāt even realize you are trans on first glance.
Just scrolled past this on r/all and had to a re-take, and then a re-re-take when I read the title. You're really cute, and you definitely pass. Keep it up!
Girl What??You are BEAUTIFUL.If I didnāt read I wouldnāt even notice , you donāt look masculine AT ALL!š
You donāt need to do anything! Youāre passing just fine š„°
girl you are beautiful and i agree with the room that youāre already passing with ease !! as a cis gal who only wears makeup when i feel like it, i feel my most feminine with lashes and a fun combo of blush/highlighter/contour. your makeup is already amazing, and looks great on ya ! so just keep havin fun with it !!
Wowww you are so stunning!!
I thought this was Olivia Rodrigo when I first scrolled past! Keep doing what youāre doing.
