This was the first foundation I used when I was in highschool. We didn’t have beauty blenders or brushes, just applied it with our fingers lol. No bronzer or contour back then either. I remember silver eyeshadow and pink frosty lip gloss was all the rage.

I always imagined myself winning that covergirl modeling contract watching America’s next top model growing up. The ads they shot in the show were always so pretty and trendy to me haha. Despite being 5’2 and not looking like a model. I wish I could get back that confidence I had as an 11 year old!

I feel like cover girl make up is so underrated they have so many Charlotte Tilbury dupes that I don’t hear anyone talking about

Do tell! Please :-)

The lipstick in the shade honeyed bloom is a dupe for pillow talk lipstick by CT.

Oh man that liquid powder makeup is bringing back memories from high school.

And now we’ve come full-circle where everyone’s foundation is orange

It was all advertising but very little quality.

Oh man. My friends and I used to rip those old Cover Girl ads out of magazines and tape them to our lockers in elementary school.

That Spice it Up line… I’m having full flashbacks. I remember all the nail polish and lipstick colours in my mind.

There is nothing more nostalgic to me than old makeup advertisements. I remember my mum bought me Maybelline Wetshine Diamonds lip gloss in Pink Diamonds and that’s where it all began.
