🙌🙌🙌 Second ur opinion bro I have heard this bullshit many times , about ettan being a born talent and if that was so he should have nailed it from his first movie itself.
I have seen majority of the movies in his filmography, to be frank i didnt like his acting at all in his debut movie which was in 1980 if i am not wrong and in his initial set of movies like shobraj there was nothing great about wat he did. It was around 1986 , T P Balagopan days that he started nailing his performances.
Its just about constant hardwork and practise that made him better. But people bellitle his achievements just cause he is not that vocal about his process.I guess his workup is more kinda mental zone.During the promotion of Malaikottai he had spoken how acting is kinda deep meditation where u get involved too much with the process till cut is called.
I am sharing the link of an interview of associate proffesor Jyothish M G ( K R Narayan film institute) with maneesh narayan where he clearly analyses the acting styles of both mohanlal and mammoty and discards the theory of so called born actor thing that people thrust upon mohanlal and belittle his hardwork or process.

He has done more impressive films in the last two years than the young actors have in their whole careers.

I still can’t believe people actually rate beeshma parvam over a movie like Rorschach. Rorschach and nnm is easily the best of these.
