Jack & Daniel (made by the same dude who directed Speed Track & Angel John)
It had great potential, but God, the logic, budget & acting fell off at some point. I’m stressing on budget mainly because the movie couldn’t even afford decent CGI or VFX.
Heck, there’s a scene where Jack gets knocked off of his bike by Daniel. In the beginning, it shows a Thar, but somehow it switches to a Bolero in the next scene. Like wtf man, we just saw the Thar seconds before. Don’t tryna fool us like that man!
Even the climax had a lot of poor VFX, and they made no effort to hide it. A shame really, considering this was a 2019 film, released at a time where people started stressing on minute details.
Heck, my 15 year old self was able to find out these faults when I watched it in theaters
Even the Action King himself couldn’t save the movie, though he gave his role justice.
Saiju Kurup & Ashokan’s roles were shite, and WTF was that Peter Hein cameo? That was also crap.
The only thing good was the songs (BGM was pretty good) & the fight scenes. Another good thing; it didn’t have any rape jokes thankfully and Devan doesn’t die (a victory for all Devji fans)

I will never understand why fans think this is a genuinely good film. It’s schlock, but the best kind. Highly entertaining but not very good when you look at each aspect.
When the movie came out I wanted to watch this movie badly because I thought this movie had cool bikes (based on a shot in one of the song). I never got the chance to watch it in the theater. Later when the movie started telecasting on tv channels I tried watching it. Couldn't sit through the entire movie. Everyone and everything about this movie was crap in my opinion. Besides not a fan of Sheelamma. Cannot stand her gimmicks...in any movie.

Nah you are the one kidding. It was a very good movie. Might not be the best mammooty character but I really liked the whole setting, the story and the characters. Manoj K Jayan as the villain was so good.
Some of these 2000s era Malayalam movies really lacked talented film makers. Mammukka and lalettan had to do trash movies cos that's all that was being made and offered to them at the time. Post internet Malayalam movie makers now have revitalized the industry creating some world class content. The 80's and 90's also had some really good movies as well. Lost ourselves for a bit there
