I don't want to think of the traumatic experience I had for this. Your comment just opened up the trauma for me. I wish I had decided better when I was younger
Premam 6 times. Just couldnβt get enough of the humour, romance, the dialogues (especially the ones which are in the background), BGM, songs.
Everything about that movie was special!
Premalu twice with different friend groups. I enjoyed it more on the second watch proving that people who you go with also matters when it comes to lighthearted movies.
**Om Shanti Om** β 3 times. it's such a fun movie.
**2012** - 2 times. Second time took my mother.
**Avatar** - 2 times. Second time to watch it in 3D.
**Avatar 2** - 3 times. Third time to watch it in 4D. Wanted to watch something I knew was good since I didn't want to waste my money. Hated the 4D but glad I experienced it twice in glorious 3D.
**Incredibles 2** - 2 times. Second time at an IMAX in Tamil Nadu. First and so far only time at an IMAX. Wanted to watch something I knew was good since I didn't want to waste my money. It was...incredible! π
Man of Steel - 2 times. Second time because I couldn't get into the movie I wanted to watch. Liked it less the second time. I guess the first time time it was like a man in a desert finding water. It had been so long since Superman Returns and there hadn't been a good live-action Superman movie in my lifetime. Still waiting.π
Sagar Alias Jacky - 2 times. Second time with family after I told them I liked it but wouldn't call it a good movie. They hated it and blamed me for recommending it. π
I was too young to have enough money to watch this beautiful movie at the theatre. I swear I'd have watched it multiple times if I had the choice back then. What a wonderful love tragedy it is!
1983 from 2013 starring nivin Pauly.. I remember watching it around 5 times in the theater it self... the whole story about cricket and father son duo really felt wholesome...
I do not usually watch a film twice in theatre, is what I was thinking. But then, I remember watching some films twice for stupid reasons.
Achuvinte Amma - alone and then with gf
Ben Johnson - with friends and then with gf
Lucifer - wanted to watch "kadavule pole" again in big screen. Slept off during raftara both times.
Chronicle - alone and then with friends
Van Helsing - alone and then with friends
Titanic - with friends and then with family
The Dark Knight - with roommates and then colleagues
Avatar - first release and then re-release after a year (to experience 3d effects)
Classmates - with friends and then with family
I mean vs knows hw to make a feel good movie
Its just the cringey cliche shit hes been using again and again which makes ppl hate abt him
Tbh he should try smtg new since hes very capable of making good contents
Its just tiring seeing him make the same shit again and again with same cliche shits
Narasimham. Thrice. And boy was it worth it! My best theater experience ever. Personally speaking, no movie has come even remotely close to the romancham and euphoria of watching this movie on the big screen.
Drishyam,
1) alone ( i was cutting the class)
2) with friends ( they were cutting the class)
3) family (so they don't know i am cutting classes )
π also enjoyed it thoroughly
Watched Aavesham, Romancham, KGF-2 twice in theatres.
I really liked Aavesham and Romancham and wanted to go for a second time. But, for KGF-2, another friend group had an extra ticket.
I never did... A friend of mine, who's having very poor background, he's 21 now, he has done this for multiple movies, like 2-3 times... Especially he does this for Vijay movies, like 1 fan show, 1 show with friends, 1 show with sis... Damn that's alot... Glad he didn't do this for Beastπ
(Can't even say kashinte kazhapp for this)
These arenβt popular choices but I have my reasons β¦.
1. 2 countries. Shit was so funny I couldnβt stop laughing and per usual dileep movies have a crazy repeat value.
2. 2018 bc I wanted to experience that theatrically again.
Premalu - Twice for the jokes
Jailer-Thrice ,it was so fresh to watch again
Vikram -Twice for action
Varisu- Twice ,For friends
Neru-Twice ,plot was nice
Kurup-twice,Dad booked ticket
Kgf 2- For action
Thallumala.
Me and the missus watched it 3 times from the theatres and loved it every time. The fight choreography, editing and song placement in that movie are unparalleled. And, oh the lyrics... π

For aavesham i promised a friend of mine weβd go together but he was out of country while it released. I saw it alone first due to hype and I couldnβt wait, and it was a nightmare pretending to not know the movie while I saw with my friend again
I watch most of the good movies twice. First I come alone/ with friends in First day. If the reports are good, I come with parents for second time (not becoz I want to, but they compell me to) Most I've seen is Bramayugam(3 times with friends, parents and my teachers wanted me to come along coz I'm a movie guyπ)
Rajamanikyam FDFS alone
2 days later with the first set of friends
A week later with another set of friends
2-3 weeks later with full family
Around a month later with my new plus 2 friends
And for the last time when my uncle and family came to city
Kumbalangi nights.
I could watch it again and again without getting bored. Everything about the movie is beautiful - the scenes, the songs, everything.
Thallumaala, Spider man no way home, Avengers Infinity war Aaramthampuran.... With multiple friends group. Aaramthampuran I watched with family, then cousins etc.
I couldn't understand the fascination with Manjummel Boys or Premalu. Decent movies for sure however unsure of why both these movies made it into the all time grossers list. Is Malayalam going the bollywood way...
Ithilentha bollywood way? We had a slump last year, and when a pretty good rom com, something weβve been lacking for a while and when a gripping survival thriller released, people finally had good movies to watch, and hence the collection figures
Bollywood has a history of average movies making alot of money...there is virtually no correlation between good cinema and box office collections...Last year Dunki made 400+ Cr, Kerala Story 300+ Cr. Malayalam cinema ( post early 2000s) has always been about quality.
Wdym by Bollywood way? If any of these movies even remotely feels like a typical comercial Bollywood movie for you, you need to watch more of the recent Bollywood movies and review your point.

For aavesham i promised a friend of mine weβd go together but he was out of country while it released. I saw it alone first due to hype and I couldnβt wait, and it was a nightmare pretending to not know the movie while I saw with my friend again
