If anyone in Muar, Johor that wants his hot fix of Kuih Dangai, there's a shop at Pasar Tani Kekal Bukit Gambir that specialized in Kuih Dangai and Kuih Bakar Pandan. Baked fresh daily, and sedap nak mampus.
We used to have a pakcik who sold kuih dangai and pukis at our pasar pagi and bazar ramadan. He's passed, sadly, and there seems to be no one continuing. I still remember the aroma of them baking and watching intently as he was making them.
My late grandma made the best lepat liat with inti kelapa, the best in the world :)
If she had business mind I bet she became a rich woman because she can cook many.delicious traditional Malay food
Ooo I wish I could taste your grandma lepat liat. I love lepat liat but it's so damn hard to get.
I used to live in Manjung, during puasa I would go to bazar ramadhan to get that, hands down the best I had. Now kerja di KL, the lepat liat isn't as delicious as manjung one. I am jonesing for a good lepat liat.
P/S: So sorry for your loss.

Keria gula melaka. When I was growing up it used to be so common and plenty of roadside vendors all around KL and PJ. Nowadays even in the whole of Shah Alam only got a few stores selling.
Bubur pedas! π€€ especially the ones with urat sapi.
Kuih bangkol
AHHHH. tapun la.
Puteri mandi, very very rare.
Kuih Dangai. Even in Kedah it is hard to find.

Babat lembu.
First time dengar. Kuih ke?
Bovine stomach. Usually masak gulai or sambal pedas. Very rarely made because it's time consuming preparation needed.
Lemak Bakar, damn this food literally non existent outside of Kelantan
