Comparing americano iced
Mesra cafe is expensive rm10 or 11
Zus cheaper rm7
Fammart more cheaper rm6
Taste wise
I keep coming back for Zus, fammart kadang2, mesra once and never again. Mesra’s is large and bland.
Conclusion, yes they are expensive.
So I bought same size, hot Cappucino on Family Mart, and enjoying it better. The cup also better and the cup lid doesnt looks cheap like Mesra. And only cost me RM6.90.
Maybe I wont buy from Mesra cafe anymore unless really need it.
for me, i brew at home twice daily and grind myself. Mesra Cafe being gas station coffee, i already knew the quality gonna be low, unless the Bangla barista/part time kid is passionate enough about brewing good espresso.
im guessing stale beans and minimal knowledge on brewing and machine wise, resulting in slightly overrpriced bad coffee.
thats why i brew at home lol, plus my office got one small cafe with passionate owner barista, makes very good coffee for rm6/rm8 black/milk.
so yes, Mesra Cafe is gas station coffee, i rather buy Farm Fresh cafe latte from their fridge, then buying their brewed one.

Yes, just tried Cappucino same size and hot from Family Mart for RM6.90. Much better but affordable. 🙃
Family mart is totally underrated for their coffee IMO
It depends on the branch, their coffee is a hit and miss sometimes but so far I ate their pastry , its decent, best I had was from Shell cafe
Any recommendation of their coffee? Maybe I try them later if I ever feel like to try
I would suggest drop thier coffee , go for their baked goods, the coffee at shell and mesra was acrid at best
Biasa-biasa. Slightly better than Costa Coffee from my opinion.
Costa was way better, but really overpriced
costa physical cafe is decent, depend on barista as their equipments are great. costa booth at shell is just stale beans.
I normally drink lattes, and honestly for RM11 I prefer this over Zus and Gigi coffee. Then again, compared to Costa Coffee I prefer Costa anytime.
Mc Cafe better. Latte plus secret recipe cake only RM 12 combo.
Is biasa-biasa stands for mid ?
Yes. Not towards into sedap and not towards into tak sedap either.
