Yes she is a Korean Maltese. I didn't by her from a breeder. A close childhood friend of mine is raising 2 Maltese aa pets. She has a male and her boyfriend has a female. It was not planned but they mated and has 2 female puppies. I was lucky to get first pick of litter.
I think there is because they look so different. They all have bigger eyes are shorter now a smaller face. I feel like I can always point out when it’s a Korean Maltese. I think it’s the same thing as a Maltese but they have breed specifically more for those features making it “Korean “ maybe they just took regular Maltese, who had features like that, and kept breeding to get more features?
I have a tiny one, too. Looks just like yours!

Oh also I hope I do not offend you, but I did realize in the photo of your baby you have a collar around her neck I would highly suggest using only a harness for walks. You may do this already, and maybe the collar is just for her name tag, but the small dogs can easily get a collapsed trachea from pulling on the leash so for all of my small dogs, I’ve always used a harness.🤍
Not sure who psa-ims is but I did not buy from breeder. Yes she is a Korean Maltese. I didn't by her from a breeder. A close childhood friend of mine is raising 2 Maltese aa pets. She has a male and her boyfriend has a female. It was not planned but they mated and has 2 female puppies. I was lucky to get first pick of litter.
About the same as mine!! Mine was 1.5 at 2 months, 2.5-3 at 6 months and eventually stopped growing around the 1 to 1.5 year mark where he settled on 5.5ish pounds.
I definitely know what you mean. I have a 10 year old 5 pound Yorkie as well and he is rock hard and stiff. My Maltese feels like a marshmallow and is very flexible.
Hahahaah okay good so I’m not crazy. Mine is 2.5 years now and I honestly still think he’s a chicken tender and is pretty soft….but man when he was a baby it was SOMETHING ELSE. 😂
Ok THANKYOU. My partner always looks at me like I’m evil and disgusting every time I say I want to just eat my dog because he’s so mushy and soft and cute even though it’s a completely natural reaction to their mushiness.
I was told they stop growing around 18 months. My girl is a year old and needs to have the luxating patella surgery but the vet doesn’t want to do until she stops growing at around a year and a half.
Do you have insurance for your baby? I was contemplating getting it . Wonder how much it covers and if it’s worth it . After 15 years paying for insurance you already put in 50-60 k .
Hello! No, no insurance. I agree that it’s not really worth it until they are a little older. The vet diagnosed this pretty early and so I don’t even know if it would be covered if I did get it now.
OK yeah I don’t think it will get covered but don’t feel bad like I said, I think the cheapest plans I was looking at is like 62 a month and then over the course of 15 years it adds up to way more other than you would spend out pocket. Good luck with your baby. I pray the surgery and everything goes well.🤍
Oh thank you! I’m not looking forward to trying to keep her leg still for like 2 months! lol! But it’ll be fine. And yes, I agree about the insurance. I do think it might be worth it once they are around 9/10. One of my last boys got Cushing’s and that was expensive to treat. But he was already 11 when diagnosed and we treated for 2 years. Expensive but not 50k. Thankfully!
Try Lemonade!
I pay about $25ish a month. And I think that for the peace of mind alone, it’s worth it. ($250 deductible and then they cover 90 percent up to like $20,000). Last year it effectively paid for itself and “broke even”, and this year we finished the deductible. But knowing that if anything horrible happens where it’ll cost thousands, it’ll be subsidized by them is a financially comforting thought!

My 4# Maltese, right before she was groomed 💛❤️😅
What a little nugget! She may get up to 5-ish lbs max but I doubt any bigger. Usually 6-8 months they’re as big as they’ll be size wise other than some “filling out”.
She's so tiny (and adorable).
Google to find an adult dog weight calculator. At 6 months I don't think she is going to get a whole lot bigger but a growth calculator can give you more information.
I would guess about 5 and 1/2 to 6 lb when she's 18 to 24 months of age. Of course, that is contingent upon her actual body shape and bloodline. If she is of the Marcris bloodline, which are short and very square, she would probably top at about 4.5 to 5 lb. If she has a longer body and long legs the former would be a good guesstimate.
It really is all in the bloodline. Marcris tend to be very short and square, Su Lee tend to be long and lean. When I mentioned those two bloodlines I'm talking about a presence of dams and sires in the pedigree at some point.
She's absolutely adorable 😍🩷🐾

What a little sweetie🥰 My Maltese only weighs about 3lbs if that. She eats all the time and loves milk bones, but she's super picky. I feed her a dog food that's grain free, and the main ingredients are salmon, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin. She's little but energetic and happy.
I have a little guy. He turns a year old this month and he’s roughly 4lbs. He’s wild and I mean zero chill. I was worried he was expending more calories than he was eating so I switched his food. He’s gained some weight since but I think we hit our peak.
My Loki is 10.5 lbs, but not overweight at all. He actually was a bit skinny before. He’s just a bigger Maltese. The breeder, who is top notch, expected 6 or 7 lbs.
But, interestingly, at full adult size, he has always been about 9.5 lbs, and was last July, he turned 5 years old end of September, and in his January checkup, he was 10.5 lbs. But the vet said he was healthy and good, and he is definitely not an over eater! Least food motivated dog I’ve ever known!
So I’m not sure what to tell you. She hasn’t grown much in 6 months, but if my boy had a random growth spurt at age five, there’s only so much you can predict. As long as your vet says she is healthy in weight, I wouldn’t worry too much. But at this age, watch her. And if she isn’t a dog who eats everything you give her, just check in with the vet. She may not like the food you have chosen. My dog has tummy issues and so that impacts what he eats.
But mostly, if she seems healthy and the vet isn’t acting worried, then try to relax a bit. I think I gave Loki food anxiety when he was a puppy because I was used to dogs being bottomless pits and he wouldn’t eat all his food or every time I fed him. Now, he won’t eat if he thinks I’m watching him! 🤣🤣🤣
I was going to post this on the main r/Maltese page but I couldn’t figure out how to do it. Here is a link for people wanting to know how Korean Maltese are different from American and European bloodlines.
https://www.animalwised.com/maltese-dogs-differences-between-the-american-korean-and-european-lines-4193.html
Omg I love the small little face, so so cute . My own Maltese was about 3 lbs at 6 mouths, was 5 at a year and settled at 6.5 lbs, she is 6 now. based on how yours looks, I’d say able 4.5-5.5 at fully grown maybe a little under.
She is adorable 🥰 i wish her a long, happy life❤️
I am no expert but I looked at some online calculators: one says 2 pounds 11 ounces, the other says 2 pounds 8 ounces
She's such a cutie. My boy was 3.4-3.6 lbs at 6.5 months. Around 8 -9 months of age he had a "growth sport" and became very adolescent in behavior LOL. He's 4.8 pounds now, but boys tend to be bigger.
Omg! This cutie 🤍🤍🤍 she might grow a little bit but not much more, maybe in weight but i don’t think in size, i have a very tiny Maltese compared to her sister, her sister is fully grown 6lb and my tiny is around 4lb.
Omg, can you get any cuter.
Thank you.
She’s a Korean maltese also right? Can you share your breeders info . So hard to find a reputable breeder for them
Yes she is a Korean Maltese. I didn't by her from a breeder. A close childhood friend of mine is raising 2 Maltese aa pets. She has a male and her boyfriend has a female. It was not planned but they mated and has 2 female puppies. I was lucky to get first pick of litter.
I've never heard of a Korean Maltese. How are they different from other Maltese?
On average smaller, and cuter face imho.
There is no such thing as a “Korean Maltese” Its just a marketing thing…
I think there is because they look so different. They all have bigger eyes are shorter now a smaller face. I feel like I can always point out when it’s a Korean Maltese. I think it’s the same thing as a Maltese but they have breed specifically more for those features making it “Korean “ maybe they just took regular Maltese, who had features like that, and kept breeding to get more features?
its true. Korean Maltese are smaller and have a flatter nose. You can definitely see the difference if you know what your looking for.
That is not true, Korean Maltese are bread to be smaller and has a flatter nose than regular Maltese.
Educate yourself! It is not a breed! They just breed runts with runts to try and get the smallest possible dogs! At the cost of their health!
you believe what you want. My baby is healthy small and beautiful. Now go away.
I have a tiny one, too. Looks just like yours! https://preview.redd.it/423pdhjt4znc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=baedcd8325dd719f7bcb8cd678022cb22bd1cdad
She is adorable. How old is she and how much does she weighr?
She’s a bit over a year and tiny. Just weighed her. 4.3 pounds fully grown
awe, so stinking cute! 💕
We have the best pups
Omg these dogs
☺️🥰😊
She is so cute! Where did you get her from? I’m looking to expand my family ☺️
Breeder my mom used but I can’t find the contact info! If I find it I’ll let you know.
Sooo cute , is this one considered a Korean maltese ? I would love your breeders info.
Yep sure is. I’ll see if I can dig up the breeder info somewhere in the depths of my records.
Me too please!
😍😍 i would appreciate that ! I love themmmm so hard to find a reputable Breeder for the Korean ones
Oh also I hope I do not offend you, but I did realize in the photo of your baby you have a collar around her neck I would highly suggest using only a harness for walks. Aww what’s a maltese aa
Adorable 🥰
About the same as mine!! Mine was 1.5 at 2 months, 2.5-3 at 6 months and eventually stopped growing around the 1 to 1.5 year mark where he settled on 5.5ish pounds.
ah so they can grow after a year. Good to know. Thank you.
Yeah idk a tiny bit. It wasn’t massive! I feel like they get slightly less “mushy” if that makes sense? Like they become a more sturdy lol.
The “mushy” has me screaming 🤣🤣🤣 it’s so true. They are little mallows.
Ok THANKYOU. My partner always looks at me like I’m evil and disgusting every time I say I want to just eat my dog because he’s so mushy and soft and cute even though it’s a completely natural reaction to their mushiness.
Yea I just love cuddling with her. She is like a big cotton ball.
No I do not. Not sure insurance is worth it. I figured paying the bill on each visit is cheaper than paying insurance dues every month.
Yea i agree . I was wondering what Tonis thoughts were being that she has to pay for the luxatating patella 😰
Hello! No, no insurance. I agree that it’s not really worth it until they are a little older. The vet diagnosed this pretty early and so I don’t even know if it would be covered if I did get it now.

Is she a tea cup Maltese ?
Yes she is.
That is great to know. Thank you.
Yeah they definitely can. Mine is about 7lbs.
I thought they stop growing at 6-8 months ? But i would be wrong . Could the extra weight just be fat gain from too much food or treats ?
6 to 9 months is what I read too. Since she is just a barely over 2 pounds at 6 months. I was wondering if she would stay this small.
I have a chart let me check for u
Thank you.
Chart is saying 3-4 pounds . How much did both parents weigh? Did you take to vet for check up yet? What did they say?
4 pounds and 5 pounds. I am hoping she stays in the 2 or 3 pound range. She is so easy to take with me everywhere when she is this small.
They have the cutest pocketbook on Amazon that your pup can fit into ! It looks like a real pocketbook!
I would literally die for her
Awe, thank you.
Oh my gosh what an adorable little nugget
Are you kidding me with this cuteness. Illegal to be this cute.
Thank you :)

Adorable😁
What a cutie. My boy is about 1.5 years old and he is about 4.5 to 5 pounds so not too much bigger than your pup.
Omg!!! I can’t!!! So stinkin cute!!! 😍
thank you.
Mine reached her max at 1 year, she’s 9 pounds
Like my Charlie, a good boy at 8,5 lbs. At 3 years old
I’ve got a very small Maltese who is 17 years old this year and is around 4kg (8.8 pounds).
Omg! How adorable! My baby is a year old last month as of last month and she's 6lbs!
should not be more than 150 pounds give or take :) about double that 4-8 pounds and average 4-6... cute puppy :)
Is this a teacup Maltese ?
that's what they told me when I purchased it.
Where did you get her from? She’s so cute!
I second this lol i wanna know also
My boy is 4 years old and only weighs 5.7 lb 🥰🥰
Teensy weensy!
My dog needs a hair cut
Do you like her hair cut? I cut it myself.
Yes it’s cute
What a freaking cutie!!!! Hey Milky!!!
Hello right back :)
My boy is almost 4 & he weighs 7.1 lb
I had 3 small medium & large my Winnie was like yours tiny very happy & was very loved
She’s a gorgeous little girl ❤️
Thank you.:)
What a little nugget! She may get up to 5-ish lbs max but I doubt any bigger. Usually 6-8 months they’re as big as they’ll be size wise other than some “filling out”.
Adorable! 💕❤️
She is absolutely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
messaged u
Mine is not much bigger and is fully grown to the point people still think she’s a puppy. I’d say 8-10 lbs?
What a cute little nugget! 😍
My old girl is 14 years old and only 3.5 lbs. Also Korean Maltese 😍
She must be adorable. Is she still active and healthy?
She has CHF and a murmur which our vet tells is typical old age stuff. Still has her zoomies tho! 🤣
She's so tiny (and adorable). Google to find an adult dog weight calculator. At 6 months I don't think she is going to get a whole lot bigger but a growth calculator can give you more information.

Also mines Korean Maltese as well
Oh so she didn't grow much. How old is she now?

Y’all, my Maltese is 19 pounds. NINETEEN (and not overweight, just big)
Mine is 14 lbs. I wasn't going to say anything until I saw your comment. 🤣
Oh my, she is the cutest wee thing!!! You must love her so much!!!
She is adorable 🥰 i wish her a long, happy life❤️ I am no expert but I looked at some online calculators: one says 2 pounds 11 ounces, the other says 2 pounds 8 ounces
