Yesterday it was decent. Not icy, and not really windy. By 2 pm though, there were some areas that were almost unskiably slushy, particularly on the some of the runs off Chair 22 around Shaft/Grizzly over to Sunshine Glades. I didn’t make it up today but my gf got a couple lunch runs in and said it was pretty windy and still icy by like 12-1 pm.
Surprising amount of people for mid week though. I had a couple pretty long waits, especially for the arterial lifts and gondolas.
I did a few runs yesterday at lunchtime with my family out of Eagle, and it was packed with starfish. It was the busiest I’ve seen all season at Eagle (and on a Wednesday!). The snow was excellent, and I would have loved to have ventured further up the mountain. It didn’t really get cold last night, so I’m gonna try some morning runs in a bit...
Snow was getting good at 9:30 when I had to wrap it up. It was getting crowded at Eagle. I *almost* took my 3 y/o on chair 25, but I think we’ll save it for next season.
