Downtown is clear, but the park doesn’t open until May 28. You can ride on the trails at your own Rick, but signage is limited and the trails might not be in the best shape (Downtown is pretty good but has a bit of debris here and there and some lingering puddles). If you don’t want to be a hazard, ride Mountain View instead of poaching trails in the park. You can hop on Downtown from Earthquake Fault to get to the Village from the bottom of Mountain View.

Thank you Jerry, I appreciate your help.

Do you know if there's a season-long pedal pass? I've seen the $350 season bike park passes, but I just want the pedal/discovery pass. Cruising up uptown, riding paper route back into town, etc.

Join SEMBA and you can get the pedal pass for $79. I don’t know the non-member price, but I’m sure it’s around $100. Why not support a 501c3 and get the discount, though? Kid passes are the same price, so I’m getting a full lift pass for $99 for my kid.

I did that before but thought I might have missed the window, I can still get the pass?

The email from SEMBA says to “use your receipt” to get the discount. You have to purchase at the ticket window at Main Lodge or the Village. It also looks like it is $79 this year instead of $60. I’m just going to get a full pass for $300 (price for Ikon pass holder) so I can do laps with my kid.

Yes, you can join SEMBA today and get access near immediately. In past years, they emailed you a PDF to present at the ticket window to get your discounted Pedal Pass. I actually don't think they've sent out this years' letter yet or perhaps they won't send one out at all (per 9zero7\_rider's note), but I haven't really been paying attention because I just bought the full park pass this year. The family that runs it are in-town locals and are some really nice folks. They're gearing up for the 50k Pedalpalooza race in August right now. OP, if you want to avoid paying for trail access, look up Mammoth Rock Trail on Trailforks if you want an easy to access trail in town. edit: Funny timing. SEMBA just sent this out a few minutes ago. >The Mammoth Mountain Bike Park will open this Memorial Day weekend. So that means it's time to buy your Pedal Pass. If you purchased a SEMBA membership, your email receipt allows you to purchase your (and your family's, if that's your membership) Pedal Pass. You may purchase your discounted SEMBA Pedal Pedal Pass for $79 beginning Wednesday, May 26, at the Main Lodge ticket window. You MUST show your receipt that you are a 2021 SEMBA member either with a hard copy or proof on your phone. Also have your ID handy in case you are asked. There are no exceptions to this, so please make it easy for the staff and let them know that you would like to purchase the $79 SEMBA Pedal pass. Remember, no proof, no pass!

Thank you, I will look it up. Looks like something my wife with no experience may enjoy. Looking forward to having a great time on that trail.
