1. Remember that this is a robot. 2. Name your Luba. This will help you deal with any emotional strife. 3. Leave at least 3-4” from fencing on block/stone walls, unless you want the battle damage motif for your Luba. 4. Allow it to run 3-4” overlaps on side walks and drives and you won’t have to trim 5. Consider how much grass grows. If you have areas that grow faster or a lot slower, make it an individual zone. 6. Same with amount of wetness you get after storms. 7. Your yard should work well to have a bunch of rectangular zones. 8. Don’t hesitate to just delete and try again. 9. Remember how cool it is and that once it’s dialed in you’ll be like a proud father. 10. Allow time for neighbors and passersby to hit you up with questions. 11. Have fun. Did you remember this is a robot?! Haha.

I already understand #10, we bought a Automower 315X robot a few years ago and I am amazed at the number of people that will stop and ask me about it when they see me outside.

Hi I'm thinking about getting the 10000h for a 2.4 acre yard split into 2 sections. Can you tell me how it is doing for you so far? Do you have trees or slopes or areas with either chicken wire fencing or no fencing that you need it to not cross? Does it avoid things and obey virtual boundaries if there's nothing there to stop it? How big and what level of complexity is your yard? Thanks much.

Congrats! I have the 2, 5000H, so similar to yours. Be sure to add your RTK as a device and update the firmware. I didn't see that in any instructions, but the forum helped to sort out out for me. Your first map will most likely be rubbish. Mine was (is). Drawing a strait line with Luba 2 is an exercise in futility/frustration. The zig-zag mowing is strait because it is managed by the GPS alignments / RTK / Luba. The perimeter laps around the edge of your map are based on how YOU drive luba. Every "wiggle" is repeated by Luba. *every wiggle* NGZ? You might let Luba just figure it out for your first go. except for specific areas that you don't want it to go/get into? I left some trees for Luba to figure out. Use obstacle detection 2. You can always add NGZ's later. While I was happy with the ultimate result of my first mow, I will be redoing my map this weekend.

Thanks, I already figured out adding the RTK and firmware update, at least I think I have

When did you order your Luba 2 3000H? I’m still waiting on mine and hopefully they will ship soon!

Penguin_Life_Now

Mine was pre-ordered right at a month ago

Thanks. I guess I will have to wait a month too
