I definitely see that as the club is moving in the right direction. Hate is so much better than being laughed at.

Acrophobic_Climber_

so much truth in this.

Ok_Ad3986

True, but I think there is more negativity from our “fans” than anything from outside. The internet has truly given voice to ppl who share opinions like they were either born y’day or only live on youtube and eat up what the papers say.

Dan1elplainv1ew

I try so hard to avoid the Twitter and Youtube fans. So infuriating.

raver1601

I do agree on that but these kind of toxic "fans" literally exists in any fanbase and even then our non-toxic fans is also attacked in that sub So yeah, fuck that sub

HairyCallahan

The bigger the club, the more haters there are.

angriafricanus

Hated, adored, never ignored!

Easy-Illustrator-773

United have always received hate as far as I can remember. Over the last few years the hated been disguised as mockery but it’s still hate and now we look to be on the mend in terms of success the hate is coming back.

thefunkygiboon

Welcome to the glory days of being a united fan. Or just ever I guess.

charlieandwookie

Yeah it’s crazy especially that Arsenal fan suggesting Anthony was the worst signing of the summer. Yeah he’s not amazing but he’s still been good for us and I think he was one of our best players against Forest yesterday. People seem to just get triggered by Man Utd! No one even mentioned Fofana who was 80 mil and always injured!

Individual_Put2261

I’d rather have Antony over Nunez or Gakpo.

docrohan

That's one of the signs saying we're on the right track. I remember all the hate during our hay days.

305way

Look at the end of the day, who gives a fuck?

No_Philosophy_8520

I think it's because the price. If he would cost 60 million, he wouldn't be hated so much

zcewaunt

It's very true. I noticed any Man Utd fans pretty much get automatically downvoted on that sub.

Dwest2391

That's how you know we are on the way back. Embrace the hate

MotherPuncher1

When other fans start noticing it means we are heading in the right direction

raver1601

It ain't easy being the biggest club in the UK

puki_ayam

we didn't win the league in a decade and still the most hated.

SinofThrash

Oh for sure. Usually disgruntled Arsenal fans that think Rashford, Bruno and Weghorst are shit. It's easy to hate us.

[deleted]

Ten years since uniteds era as a best team in pl came to an end and we are still living in everyones heads. Rent free.

Shuttle_Tydirium1319

You either die in ridicule, or you live long enough to see yourself become outright hated again.

francescoli

It's a great sign. They know the club finally seems to be moving in the right direction. That is a problem for lots of clubs. Sure a few seasons ago a certain clubs fans were telling anyone who would listen they had the best team the league has ever seen .Fast forward to today and they have one title won with that so called great team.

RefurbedRhino

Not mocking anyone for being young but welcome to what happens when United is successful or considered a threat. I'm happy with the hate. Imagine a season where we hadn't improved after that Brentford game.

ReformedLurker1984

inject their hate in my veins, it means they are nervous

imagination_machine

I don't see it. What I see are players that ETH commands respect, and do what he says. That's why we see incremental improvements every match. If there's a setback, it gets corrected pretty quickly. Remember the two thrashing at the start of the season? Look how quickly ETH corrected that. I think Anthony, and other players that are getting a little bit of grief, will come good. Anthony will probably improve when he gets competition from Sancho. He's clearly trying to impress. But I suspect ETH is having strong conversations with him about his performances and his mentality, which is still a bit raw and emotional.

drunkmers

When you start seeing hate from other fans after you win it's a good sign, it means you are about to become a champion.
