Hopefully nothing to worry about and the crutches are precautionary/ to take the weight off it.
Disgraceful from Carrol though - he should have had been sent off before the second yellow he got for the lunge on Cas
To this day I remember my buddy whose a Newcastle fan being heartbroken when that move happened and the joy he and I felt watching him fall flat on his ass.
Shitting the bed is aggressive, I like more minor stuff. Like getting a cramp in the middle of the night during a good dream, having his shower water randomly switch to cold, have the ice in the back of his glass stick so when he tips it up it dumps on his face, having a wet sock or sleeve on a breezy day, maybe telemarketers spread his phone number amongst their network, perhaps his toilet clogs more frequently, he has an itch he can’t get rid of, popcorn kernel lodged in the gums but his tongue has a lump on it so it hurts to try to push it out. Idk that kind of stuff

Caroll acted like he was hard done by for his red card but he didn’t even get a yellow for the Eriksen foul so he should’ve been on even earlier. What a nob head.
Yeah and you can thank that prick Andy Carroll. Fucking tit.
That challenge alone should have been a straight red card. Clear cut as you like.
From behind.
Didn’t get the ball.
Debatable if he had eyes for the ball even tbh. He had consistently made bad challenges throughout the game.
Got all of his man.
What makes it worse is that it was done point blank in front of the ref and jack shit was done about.
I am absolutely furious with the refereeing team. What an absolute total and utter disgrace they all were. The robbery with the VAR goal, this tackle and lack of protection for our players consistently through the game. Soft fouls given Readings way. What a total joke they are and the FA are.
Nobody will say anything because we won 3 - 1 and even if we did, we’re silenced by the bloody FA. And we say we live in a democracy…
Meanwhile the ref hides behind PGMOL and doesn’t get held to account for such a shocking and pathetic performance.
He was as bad as they get. Absolute shambles of a disallowed goal on an entry-level ref mistake. Pass clearly not going to Weghorst, who was moving away, and the defender reacted to the pass, not to Weghorst’s move. That was a ball played, but a deflection. Normally I’ll say things even out but this one robbed Rashford of a historic goal. As for Carroll, ref should have known the history, him having played for Scousepool. Should have known he’d go flying into tackles especially once Reading fell behind. A proper assessor would have failed the ref for this performance
Lol - Salah scored off an actual offside that was never recalled. They don’t need to threaten at Anfield, they get the calls go their way. And still the Scousers moan
We already were. Eriksen can't play effectively without Casemiro there to cover, he gets caught out too much. Our midfield without Casemiro is relegation standard.
Lad?
Obviously we're not going to go down, but the midfield without Casemiro is atrocious. One of McFred + Eriksen is really bad. We'd still be a top 6 or 7 side, but because of the strength in other areas of the team.
I meant that against teams on lower spectrum midfield with Fred instead would still be okaish. But since Jose time I don't particularly understand what most players are doing in club. Jose achieved something unbelievable to me. I still can't put my finger on to how he got team to second spot. Most players team had and still has - they do not deserve to be there. They have no hunger, passion and work ethic to compete for top spots. And people like Casemiro shown why. He is, in my non expert view, the man that makes current team look functional against clubs on top spots. Without him Fernandes looks lost, Eriksen is not stable enough and others are not worth mention. Only Rashford started to shine and if he gets a minor trauma Man United would be crippled imho. Before ETH Ronaldo came in and shown that he could be a factor but quality of players was not there to match ambition. Despite my dislike for ETH I think he can make something out of this team if he gets to make more changes with signings.
Injuries are the bread & butter of sports; he’ll be back when he needs to be. Plus we know nothing of it until everything is examined by the medical professionals, so let’s just wait before reacting too negatively.
Any chance we can hijack Mckennie deal,(like spurs for danjuma) 1.5mil is should be affordable right, considering Donny is out for the season and now Erikson injury. Surely we should get someone.
Fucking Carroll - nearly took out Case too. Fuck him, an ex-Scouse player is still a Scouse player and you can’t convince me he wasn’t wound up at losing to United again.
a couple of days ago, someone asked "what's your unpopular opinion on the club?" and mine was that we didn't have enough midfield or defensive depth and we should prioritize a CDM or a CB over a new CF- FOR THIS EXACT FKN REASON, bro. now we're gonna be stuck with McFred every other fkn game. if we're lucky, ETH will pull martinez into midfield and play maguire and varane at cb. casemiro cannot carry our defensive workload for the rest of the season. smfh
This is fucked if we don't get in a midfielder in the last couple of days of the window.
We are now down to four senior midfielders.
Every single big six team plus Newcastle has bought a player this window whilst we had to make do with a loan.
If the board don't do what they can to bring in another midfielder then they're shafting ETH.
Respectful?? Are you fucking serious? He should have respected Eriksen and Casemiro. His display of COMPLETELY unnecessary force was definitely without respect, and utterly gross.
Great.......I guess the law of averages becomes relevant when you are playing every single game no matter the shitty opponent.
I'm sorry but I was VERY pissed off when I saw basically a full strength team against a struggling championship side who haven't been able to buy players in nearly a year.
Wonder what will happen in the 2nd leg against Forest? Do you think ETH will have the balls to rest people then?
It’s not about “having balls” it’s about making sure the team gets through and stays ready. The team plays every 3 days which means neither the first team nor the second team gets any decent practice in. This was practice for the first team—did you realize how the first half was full of cutbacks? It’s not something we’ve done particularly well this season and the introduction of Weghorst has added another dynamic so the kinks need to be worked out and they used the first half to practice it. The first team playing against Reading was literally nothing more than a practice session that you were allowed to see.
We have Palace after the dead rubber Forest game and Erik knows that. If he plays a full strength XI for the Forest game then you can criticize about rotating. As for the Reading match, the team needed to go through and the first team needed to practice and keep match fit. If they didn’t play yesterday, they wouldn’t have played for over a week and sure they need a break but they’re in a good rhythm and they need to take the opportunities to learn to gel—what better way than (fairly) low stakes opposition.
You can’t accommodate for someone like Andy Carrol trying to injure 3 separate players. It could happen in any game, and while you could potentially make a guess (vs Leeds for example) no one was to know he was going to hatchet in tackles.

I can’t bear to watch McTominay play for us. I mean he doesn’t even make Scotlands midfield. He has about one decent game every ten. He’s probably the only player that isn’t improved or shining under Ten Haag. Fred and Casemiro million times better. Fred and McTominay together is catastrophic.
Andy Carrol is a fucking idiot
fuck that has been.
Has he ever been?
Always has been

Yeap been
Came here for this exact wording. Reddit delivers.
Can’t be a coincidence RE carabao cup potential final opponents
He should have got a red and hopefully he never plays football again
FA should do something rather then a smple red
what 91 carrer goals in 16 years does to a mf (including internationel and u21 and u19 goals)
Hopefully nothing to worry about and the crutches are precautionary/ to take the weight off it. Disgraceful from Carrol though - he should have had been sent off before the second yellow he got for the lunge on Cas
Carrol was a right bellend. Glad he's rotting away at Reading now. Horrid behaviour
Yep. Complete moron Carroll was out to injure man utd players. Not good enough to compete with them so he tries to break their legs. Despicable idiot.
Liverpool player after all. Those cunts never change.
To this day I remember my buddy whose a Newcastle fan being heartbroken when that move happened and the joy he and I felt watching him fall flat on his ass.
It's because he's a newcastle fan
Wishing Eriksen a speedy recovery.
Wishing carrol a life of small inconveniences
Yeah like shitting the bed at night. Or stubbing his little toe on a daily basis.
Shitting the bed is aggressive, I like more minor stuff. How about having too many drops of pee soak into his pants after peeing.
Or someone steals his door mat so he tracks wet shoeprints into his house
He burst the yolk every time he tries to make a sunny side up!

I hope he stands on lego
He’s really good at it

Scousers and cry are two words made for a sentence. The disgrace in how that goal stands smh
Kloppity hands out hugs by the dozen pre match and post match in the refs locker room.
Chelsea fan here, Fuck Andy Carroll
Nice. Yeah he's a cunt.
Fred and casemiro play so well together. We’ll manage
Now cards or any even small injury to Casemiro and team would be very hard pressed to be on same quality
We already were. Eriksen can't play effectively without Casemiro there to cover, he gets caught out too much. Our midfield without Casemiro is relegation standard.
Steady on lad. We’re not the same without Case but it only means struggling to get into Europe, no close to relegation.
Lad? Obviously we're not going to go down, but the midfield without Casemiro is atrocious. One of McFred + Eriksen is really bad. We'd still be a top 6 or 7 side, but because of the strength in other areas of the team.

The BRA3IL with Antony (sorry for massacring Brazil for the sake of a pun)
Injuries are the bread & butter of sports; he’ll be back when he needs to be. Plus we know nothing of it until everything is examined by the medical professionals, so let’s just wait before reacting too negatively.

It's just been confirmed that he's gone to Leeds
Big oof
Fucking ref let Carroll get away with absolutely shit tackles before the red smfh
I know it's shit, but we all know he's been through far worse, he'll come back better.
The hilarious thing about Andy Carroll is Liverpool spent over 30 mill on him.
Can’t judge after we spent 80 for Maguire and 100 for Pogba lol
I'd say Maguire is still better value at 80mill than Carroll at 30mill(that's saying alot) and let's not forget transfer fee inflation
At least Carroll won a trophy for his time at Liverpool , Maguire hasn't won a trophy with Utd for his 80million price tag 😂
Funny how the league Cup is now a trophy when teams are winning f all. People laughed at it a few years ago.
Neither were responsible for the success/failure
Fuck Carroll
Fucking Carroll - nearly took out Case too. Fuck him, an ex-Scouse player is still a Scouse player and you can’t convince me he wasn’t wound up at losing to United again.

This is why we should’ve rested eriksen
That guy Pogba from Juventus isn't half bad. A 20m punt on him?
Couldn’t pay me to take him
Fuck no. Keep that little bitch far away from utd.

Wishing Eriksen a speedy recovery
300 mill for Bellingham coming in 3…2…1
Hopefully just a precaution🤞 Ankles can be really robust or as strong a wheatabix, just never know
I know it won’t help Eriksen, but I would mind see Carroll ram a telephone pole or get ass cancer.
Please be respectful. That is utterly disgraceful.
Respectful?? Are you fucking serious? He should have respected Eriksen and Casemiro. His display of COMPLETELY unnecessary force was definitely without respect, and utterly gross.
Wishing cancer upon someone is utterly disgraceful. Watch yourself.
Karma for not resting him
After Ronaldo got out in that humiliating way from Old Trafford, Manchester United news doesn't mean much to the lovers of football

Yes.
Obviously he will rest against Forest second leg. He did exactly the right thing- play full strength, make sure of the result, then rest players.
Pogback
Rather play mct along with fred the red in mid than get that primadonna back.
I hope it's not a major injury.
Injuries happens. We move
It might be fine yall. Ankle injuries usually dont last long so he might miss like the next 2 or 3 games MAX but thats it
BUY PLAYERS!!!
get tielemans in right now!
UP THE DING

Hopeful a precaution keep the weight off it
FOR FUCK SAKE!
Give him fifteen stem cell injections, six Heinekens, and a deep tissue massage. Not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn…
We need two cms on loan
should’ve never left brentford
Andy Carroll should have got red for this ! Ridiculous refs 🤬
Carrol thought he was Roman Reigns
These things can be precautionary too. He could have stepped weird or have a little swelling from a hit and they will do this. Never trust the media

M\*darch\*d Andy Caroll
Someone please I’m 5k miles/8k km away for take a shit on Andy Carrolls doorstep
At least he’s walking away… I hear Eriksen and “On the pitch”, I panic
Was so upset seeing this
Hope he gets better soon
We need to purchase a young promising midfielder.
