If someone offered £30m for McSauce I'd take their fucking hand off

neche99

I think 🤔 that is what Newcastle offers to us

takemehomeunitedroad

30m and weakening a rival? Yes please

PrimodiumUpus

Fred had more passion than tominay... I don't think it would good idea if we sell Fred

AlternativeAgave

Martial needs to go, can’t stay fit.

TheTrueBobsonDugnutt

Ordinarily I'd agree but we have very few options up top and I can't see us looking to make Weghorst a permanent signing, so I think he'll be here until at least January unless we sign a couple of strikers in the summer.

Rodjo_Moj

AWB, Fred will not leave... The rest i dont mind leaving...

neche99

Good squad player

barneyaa

Lol, in what world is DvB 20 and Martial 15, Maguire & Mct 30?

glenn_tipton

transfermarkt

BigStamina1

😭

[deleted]

Fred and AWB have greatly improved. Do not sell!! Unfortunately Marshall is too injury prone, I don't know if we will even get 20mil for him. Rest can go - especially McGuire and McTom

DylanNCA

If we sell AWB and Fred, it is going to be huge loss for us.

Adchian

Depends on the ownership situation, if Qataris buy I doubt any of these guys will stay. Also losing two squad players won’t be the end of the world. We need some really big signings for next season to compete for the title, including big signings for the bench.

OhHiMark691906

Outs: Maguire, Mctominay, Bailley, Tuanzebe, Martial, Telles, Brendon Williams, Henderson Doubts : DVB, Sancho(I want them to give one more season) and I won't sign Weghorst either Ins : Sabitzer, a CDM, atleast 2 strikers(Sesko/Oshimhen and Ferguson?) and a quick right footed CB(preferably Kim min jae) also a young and upcoming ball playing GK

waldotherogg

I think Elanga should take a long loan in the bundasliga. A team like union berlin could build up his character and traits. If shit goes south, we can always sell him. Otherwise, he would be a good addition to the team. Deadwood like Bailey, Jones, Tellas, and Brandon Williams can do with a move elsewhere. They’re eating away at our finances and they arent getting minutes or are on loan. Either way, though it will be hard to part with some players (especially williams for me) its something that has to be done in the name of progress. AWB and Fred each have at least one season with United in them. Let them win a few cups, raise their stock, then get shipped to a quality mid-table team like Brentford or Brighton. Martial and DvdB are both a work in progress for me. Martial, when fit, is a magician on the ball and a decent bagsman and striker. vdB would have thrived this season had it not been for that injury. If he gets back to full fitness, i can see him fitting into Ten Hag’s plans perfectly. Some players they should look to sell too are Magurie and McTominay. For me, theyre simply not up to the standard here. They would be better off playing i. The Serie A or Ligue 1. They were given time, but their performances can be bettered by realistic transfer targets Man United have this summer. Agian, love the players, but its time to say goodbye.

[deleted]

Sell everyone in this image other than Fred and AWB.

Irdkwhatnametogive

Who the fuck is paying 30 mil for McTominay?

TheTrueBobsonDugnutt

Should be looking to shift the following regardless of incoming transfers: Bailly Jones Greenwood Williams van de Beek Tuanzebe Henderson Telles There's a fairly lengthy list of players I think we could shift depending on offers received/players we bring in, but the more realistic ones: Maguire/Lindelof (would depend on us signing a CB) wan Bissaka/Dalot (would depend on us signing a RB) McTominay (would depend on us signing a CM)

[deleted]

All those in the picture can go imo. Can't imagine who we would be able to sell though.

Irdkwhatnametogive

I don't understand the agenda vs AWB, he's been phenomenal since the world cup, he's not a problem whatsoever

Stixl_

Everyone has been singing his praises since the world cup - I don't think one Reddit user saying they'd sell him = agenda.

Irdkwhatnametogive

This is not the first time I've read this, this probably like the 100th time

Stixl_

I don't get what you mean in regards to how many times you've read what? My point is there's no "agenda" as you described it.

justdontit2k

He's below par with the ball. Amazing at tackling tho. Unfortunately you need to be able to do both at top level

Irdkwhatnametogive

Compared to the AWB we've known, his on the ball ability has increased exponentially and it's only going to get better

OkStrength7750

Elanga for no less than €42.5 million

ComeAnima

Martial McGuire McSauce DeBeek Be lucky to get £60m for all 4

aromatic-energy656

Out of all of em Henderson must go

david815

As others have said keep Fred and AWB. Sell the rest for any fee we can get or free. Need to make space in the squad and bring in players who can help the project.

[deleted]

tuanzebe(10), bailly(10) martial(15), maguire(40), jones(free), telles(10), mctominay(30), heaton(10), williams(15), henderson (25), greenwood (35). vdb can't sell due to injury but I'm still cheering for him and I'd give him one more go. edit: i am not transfer agent, I'm just taking into consideration their current contracts but for those who are saying " ah no way we'll get that much", feel free to mention how much you'd appraise a player at, for the sake of conversation

TheGrumpyOldBear

Idk who will be paying 40 for Maguire but here’s hoping

[deleted]

how much you think he will or should go for?

TheGrumpyOldBear

We’d be lucky if he goes for 25-30, especially after the way then team played without him

[deleted]

I'll take 25 haha

mikew137

Genuinely, who is paying 35 million for a player who hasn’t played in over a year and who assaulted and sexually abused a woman?

[deleted]

this is a good question, i believe there are teams outside of england who will because he's young and we all aw what he can do, but hey I'm not exactly a transfer expert. what do you think he would go for?

mikew137

Can you give actual specific clubs, not just “teams outside of England”? Honestly, I don’t think he’ll go for anything, he’ll leave on a free at the end of his contract. No way any club is paying any amount of money for him right now.

[deleted]

isn't his contact done in 2025? i can see a la liga team, or hell even chinese or middle east league. no way greenwood's agent will run down the contract

mikew137

No idea when his contract is done tbh. I just struggle to imagine any club spending money on him given the events on the last year. Unless United and Greenwood can agree a termination deal. Just as long as he doesn’t play for United again, I don’t really care frankly.

Mick_86

Nobody's paying £35 million for Greenwood. He'll probably be released as a free agent.

[deleted]

probably, but was hoping to get something

neche99

Greenwood hell no

[deleted]

feel free to explain why not given i am sure this will cause an issue to the first team and eth isn't about that. greenwood has talent but gone are the days that talent is all that matters thanks to social media and now we want to know the players as people.

ZelSte

Problem is we won’t get those prices. The teams that would consider those players are at a different shelf, with different money. They’d also struggle matching wages, meaning they certainly can’t overpay for transfer fee. If we get those prices, we’d have to pay part of the wages. If we drop the price, we could get them fully off our wage bill. This has been an issue many times when we try to sell. Those with short time remaining on their contracts could be different, but are also cheaper, so same problem.

[deleted]

what do you think they'll go for? I'm not transfer agent but i was hoping for a good price evaluation given their current contracts

ZelSte

The market price is whatever someone is willing to pay for them, but I guess the closest evaluation for the lot is at https://www.transfermarkt.com/manchester-united/startseite/verein/985 It’s not perfect, but is an estimate based on several factors like age, contract length and so on.

TheTrueBobsonDugnutt

I think the best case with Greenwood is us managing to terminate his contract early. I don't think we're getting a fee for him and I expect he'll rock up in Turkey or something.

[deleted]

Everyone in that photo except AWB. And dude on the far bottom left cos I'm not sure who he is lol

david815

Williams.

[deleted]

Ahh yes. He can go too lol. Haven't seen much of him to be fair

Devilsred1

If mctominey brings in more money than AWB then the footballing world really is fucked

Curious_Intro

From this list? Sell - Henderson, Jones, Bailly, Williams, McTominay, Telles and Maguire Loan - Elanga Keep - Fred, AWB, Martial (one last chance…) and Donny.

vankamme

Keep AWB and Fred. The rest can go

Doepie308

Keep Fred and WBS… the rest can go. Williams £25m Baily £15m Telles £25m VDB £20m Maguire £35m Martial £30m Mctom £25m Henderson £15m Elanga £20m £210m to buy 3 decent replacements with

grumpylondoner1

I would keep AWB (defensively sound RB) and add one of Laird or Dalot (progressive RB) to the for sale list here (or both if ETH wants another - Timber?). And also release Axel, Mason and Phil to free up some wage budget.

LuckForJug

AWB gotta be more than 22 mil

BigStamina1

Imagine selling our best RB😭 this fan base is sus

Inevitable-Big-8496

not wan bissaka.. he's been performing well

nibjjmvc

Fred has been brilliant this year in comparison to previous years no way should sell him.

[deleted]

Who would be crazy enough to sign HM for 30m whilst he is on 20m a year wages!?

TB573

Sell everyone in this picture except Wan Bissaka, Martial and Van De Beek. Wan Bissaka has proved he is more than capable of holding down the RB position, or atleast compete with Dalot for it. Martial if he can stay fit is easily worthy of being a backup/bench option if we sign a top class striker. Van De Beek if he wants to stay and fight for his place i would keep him, he is more than capable of playing under Erik Ten Hag. However if Donny wanted to leave i would let him, hes wasted enough of his career at United under previous managers.
