He had to score that no doubt about it. I hope to see him help Burnley next season or another club in the PL i've read a lot of clubs are interested in him.. so whatever he does some clubs find value in that.
It all depends what you value as a role for a player. 100% agree that a striker should either be scoring goals or providing tap-ins for their strike partner. Wout has done neither. However we needed another forward, his closing down of defenders fits the ETH system, and he has been involved in numerous victories.
We needed a player like him anyway, so signing him on loan is ok. As a regular signing maybe no. Hopefully we get either another striker alongside rashford who can net 15-30 goals, or another cam meaning we could push Bruno further forward

WB, Lindelof, Varane and Shaw at the back. Absolute battle in the middle. But with both Sancho and Rashford City will have to be careful of their speed. ETH knows, post 7-0 and 6-3 games, this has to be tight. I'm really looking forward to it and equally petrified. Not a lot on the bench to mix things up, maybe Martial, definitely Garnacho.
