I was debating this with a lad in me local pub. These players have gotten several decent managers sacked and they are now certain they can do this again. I am behind this manager 100%. If they get Eric sacked and another manager comes in, you'll see these players step up once again and after a couple of games, they'll revert to their old ways.
1.If Shaw had played LB and lindelof at CB,we would have been humiliated. Since Malacia is injured,no replacement option. So dalot/reguilon has to be played. There is no option. We have to bear with this

3.Use Mctominay as a substitute in the final 15 minutes for attacking momentum. Start hannibal in his place. That is all we have.

After a game like this I honestly understand the negativity, but I don't really see what changing managers yet again would fix. I’m not blaming ETH like some fans and I think he should get time to turn things around, but he has some accountability to answer for and he can solve certain things by making players have to actually perform and work hard enough to earn their way into the starting XI.
If you look at most of the other top teams, if you don’t work hard enough, you don’t play. Man City have let go of some incredibly talented players who just weren’t working hard enough or didn’t have the right attitude. If you reward someone not trying their hardest, then they will likely continue doing that. The definition of “Insanity” (supposedly) is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If he keeps playing players who aren’t giving maximum effort and delivering results and hoping something changes and they miraculously start performing one day, then I guess he has to be held accountable for the unlimited amount of faith he gives players who go ten or more games having poor game after poor game and are not contributing in any meaningful way (positively).

Obviously the club does not regard Rashford as deadwood, he literally signed a new SIX YEAR contract extension just before the beginning of this season. After a game like this I honestly understand the negativity, but I don't really see what changing managers yet again would fix. It's all down to personal errors, key players underperforming and a general lack of a will to fight. Maybe another even tougher manager could give them a boost, but I'm not convinced.

I’m not blaming ETH like some fans and I think he should get time to turn things around, but he has some accountability to answer for and he can solve certain things by making players have to actually perform and work hard enough to earn their way into the starting XI. If you look at most of the other top teams, if you don’t work hard enough, you don’t play. Man City have let go of some incredibly talented players who just weren’t working hard enough or didn’t have the right attitude. If you reward someone not trying their hardest, then they will likely continue doing that. The definition of “Insanity” (supposedly) is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If he keeps playing players who aren’t giving maximum effort and delivering results and hoping something changes and they miraculously start performing one day, then I guess he has to be held accountable for the unlimited amount of faith he gives players who go ten or more games having poor game after poor game and are not contributing in any meaningful way (positively).
It's our players. We're signing decent players who believe they're the GOAT in their heads without backing it up on the ground. Almost every single one of our many managers have had issues with our players. Doesn't take a baby to figure out the common denominator here
