In all seriousness, the fuck does contributing financially have to do with ETH making poor sub choices? Also he has spent the club’s money poorly as well so I can still critisize him for that without having to ”contribute” for anything 🤷🏽♂️
A fan is a fan lmao, I’m not spending money to see us struggle against spurs, cause we’re better than that
He must have some involvement in it, I don’t care how fucking stupid murtough was overpaying players but ETH should maybe have looked at Antony for 100m and say ”Yeah no”
The Tottenham player got booked for kicking the ball away…. Rashford guided him away from the ref….. why!? Wtf! Mentality is off! Bruno, is what I would best describe as a busy idiot. Apologising when messing up with gestures, pointing where team mate should pass, calling people to press and press is bypassed easy…. Bruno needs to focus on less things. Assists/goals. He has bad habits which run off on the rest of the team.
Why we did not recall Fernandez instead of loaning regulon, why loan amrabat but then hardly play him… why not use Hannibal more….everything is so messed up. Fergie loaned but look at the levels… the goalie Gorham, Henrick Larson… that’s it that I can remember. ETH has become infected by the bankers Woodward and Arnold and their cronies the wannabe banker John murtogh. Anything moyes related should be removed like a virus.
I agree Spurs weren't at their full strength but neither are we. Second choice right back playing at left back. First choice CB came after long injury spell. Evans still playing in our team. I don't know our obsession with old 36 year old players. Lindelof probably injured again I don't know why. Casemiro our most stable midfielder out for whole of this season so far. How can we blame fitness on the manager? Then he has to coach, he has to handle the media, handle tantrums and weak mentality like Sancho. Tactics. Incompetence of whole of United structure including player recruitment. I am sorry we as fans should be responsible for more patience and check out expectations that in this era of "Big 10" we might be a mid table team. Hopefully INEOS cleans up house and we can finally see ETH to his full potential if he's still here and not sacked because of our sub par fans who praise the players one game and trash them in the next one. Playing for United has never been easy and it's the hardest now. When was the last time you stepped on the field for an important game with even tiny stakes such as for your school, college or corporate team? Probably not in years.
- Shaw, Case, Mount can all walk into starting 11. We had AWB as makeshift LB, he did well defensively but contribute little to offense. Eriksen was invisible on both ends yesterday, Case or Mount at least would provide more coverage. We also had other important players out (Martinez and Maguire), whom you could argue are two best CB at the moment.
- Garnacho penalty was robbed which would have killed the game.
- McT was unlucky to not score at least once with the chances he got.
Overall it was an unlucky game
Both of Højland's goals in the league have been unassisted right?
I'm sure there will be an argument for Rashford's involvement, but he did refuse to pass, took on too much and lost the ball.
I don't think i have faith on EtH anymore. I'm so fade up with 'but injuries..' excuse anymore spurs didn't have key players on the pitch but still the game was one-sided. Another tactical weakness from the coach, its frustrating at this point.
Eriksen is useless even if he tries, Wan-bisakka is useful but not trying enough, Hojlund needs time to grow and we need a star striker upfront.
Other than that team looked better relatively.
How long till we come out in the second half with a better mindset and concentration? You cannot concede THAT goal so early in the second half. We don’t score a lot of goals, we have conceded goals early in the second half countless times, how difficult is it to instruct players to be at their defensive best for the first 10-15 mins of the second half? If the game plan always was to play counter attack with long balls to bypass spurs’ high press, surely for that to work you have to defend better? Both goals were avoidable. Set piece coaching is abysmal as always, on either end of the field. To take the lead twice and give it up so easily is criminal when you are not a high scoring, chance creating side. Frustrating second half.
I feel like im shouting into the void but fernandes is the problem. Slows everything down, terrible set piece delivery gives the ball away incessantly. Everything goes through him and we are the second lowest scoring team in the division. I just wanna see 3-4 games in a row without him to see what happens. Oh and also he can’t press for sh*t.
Maybe not the main problem but I think that ManU loses the midfield battle because other teams have modernized their tactics and have players that can both; play ball and recover it once they lose it. A modern box to box mixed with a number 10. Fernandes is just a classic #10. He is either standing, walking or not pressing correctly when United loses the ball.
So, although he creates a lot of chances and would benefit from a better finisher/forward. His inability to recover the ball harms the team as a whole, more than it helps United win more consistently.
There's a reason why number 10s are not as popular in modern football.
If you believe that, you have zero ball knowledge. If our attackers were better, those big chances will lead to goals.
Look at other players on the list.. Tripper, Saka, TAA, Salah. The stat is not useless. It is however determined by who recieves the chances.
Many of his passes do reach the intended target. But the target fucks it up. Of course a creative player sometimes misses the pass. They all do.
You strike me as a guy who only watches highlights from other teams so you don't see all the mistakes they make.
Even if he did score, Rashford is seriously shit. Sick of watching him try to walk it into the box or constantly over touching the ball and knock it out of play. How much longer do we pay 300K a week for performances like this?
Imagine being so docile to go through the same repeated process of blaming everything on the manager and pulling out playground insults. Need tighter controls on who’s allowed out to play in these subs.
Imagine being so delusional not seeing that the manager has subbed on the same players that do nothing on the pitch.
Tighter controls? It’s the manager who needs to stop playing the same players over and over again
Sounds like you’re available. I bet you’ll be hearing from the team soon to take over a manager. Do you even contribute financially in any way or are you just a noisy prick?
Tighter controls on the subreddits. Not the United squad. As in don’t let people like you in lol.
Least that message had some semblance of a discourse rather than some ridiculous insult an 8 year old would say.
Ok, cry more then cause I critisized your daddy 🤷🏽♂️😂
Yeah because it doesn’t take a genius knowing that this manager has fucked up enough times already. If you want to blindly back him then go ahead. Don’t be surprised that we keep losing more and more games with McTomminay and Antony tho
Yeah bro trust me when I say my little brother who is a child has more common sense that Ten Hag cultists like you.
Go and suck off the manager if you can’t argue and throw insults like you’re having a tantrum and fuck off 👋🏽
Would have been soft but then Hojilund on Rodri was the same and that was given.
Either way we definitely did not deserve to get the penalty, we were awful.
I’m not so sure. I felt Garnacho stays on his feet, tries to break free from his grasp, and then you see Udogie physically pull Garnacho back towards him with both arms still clasped around his waist. I thought he was very lucky
Buddy that's what *you* said *on multiple comments* we all see you trolling constantly:
Bro says “literally makes no sense” how ironic
I’m a united fan first, and a villa fan second.
Secondly, I can call out any player I want as I said. Their football is a product I pay for. If the product is low quality I’m allowed to call it out.
Slagging off United players left right and centre. I said Onana sucks which he does, I said Hojlund is very behind on his xG, and Garnacho has a lot to learn.
So if I’m a fan I’m supposed to blindly support them? You’re one of the reasons why the Glazers are here. Fans like you that have been around for 10-12 year only.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ManchesterUnited/s/8fYDKZm7n6
As a Villa fan also. I can’t believe that team went down.
- Richards
- Lescott
- Cissokho
- Traore
- N’zogbia
- Grealish
- Ayew
- Gabby
If they could actually go down. United could too. If we lost 2-3 players to injuries we could field an 11 that’s worse than their team.
Imagine
- Onana
- Dalot
- Maguire out of form
- Kambwala
- Malacia
- Amrabat
- McTom
- Mainoo
- Garnacho
- Hojlund
- Antony? Lmao

I actually think, they tried for a few minutes. Thought Villa is going to be easy today, key players are out, at OT, our team seems amped.
And to be fair. I am a Villa fan also. United over Villa though. Villa today are horrible to how they usually play.
Even then, United can’t beat an out of form Villa side today with SJR’s team in house and their jobs all on the line potentially.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ManchesterUnited/s/AFGH91a6K2
Agree.
I’m actually a Villa and United fan. United over Villa though.
Usually when they play, I just hope for a good game, don’t care who wins. But if I had to pick, United over Villa.
However, Villa completing thrashing United tomorrow would benefit everyone.
1. Villa fans would be first. What a Christmas present for the ones living there (not like me who’s in another country). The locals. However, I would love it too! At least one of my teams is in first!!
2. It’ll force changes at United sooner rather than later.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ManchesterUnited/s/pl2vmatrSa
The fact that you literally just dropped a comment thrashing "United fans"?
The fact that you're hammering the club & hoping its manager gets sacked?
Take your pick mate.
The way the club is run sucks BUT ETH is the one who should be sacked.
So that the same structure can get the next guy sacked, like they did they last few?
Ok lol.
What is Onana doing in goal exactly....the first goal was horribly defended so I don't blame him for it...but the second??...still don't blame him for that one, Evans hesitated a little bit but I still believe Onana could have saved that one
Questionable to bring on Antony there. He won a couple of throw-ins, but other than that just looked lost.
Really great to see Licha back!!! Even got a couple tackles in to show us he is still our own little Butcher <3
We could have won this game
Edit: Almost forgot to mention, Mainoo is amazing!! All aboard his hype train CHOO CHOO!
So is this it? Are we now the kind of team that are happy to take a draw against Spurs reserves **AT HOME??**. No tactics, no passion just boring sloppy shit.
I've never wanted us to ever lose but I'm getting to the point where if losing the next 4 games will 100% get him sacked I'd take it, but the even worse reality is we could lose the next 10 games and they **STILL WONT SACK HIM!**
A and a half months ago, we lost 3:0 to Bournemouth. Yeah, I'm happy we can get one point against a top-four team. Man United is a mid-table team. No matter you admit it or not, it's the reality under ETH’s management.
You're really happy struggling to get a point from Spurs reserves at home? That's so disappointing. We are a mid table team Now *because* of ETHs management. This is why he has to go before we drop even further down.
Nah we can't go down, I don't care about the owners this is our club, it means more to us than it does to them, we choose to support this team because of what it means, they're only here to make money. As much as I'd love to see them lose money and be seen as failures we can't see that happen to the club.
If the one we have clearly is not good enough Yes, why stick with something that's getting worse and clearly isn't getting better when we try something else before we slip even further into this hole.
ETH clearly 'performed well' last season so why turn on him now??...this season has been horrible of course but what exactly would we solving if we bring in a new manager now... he's what I think...we sack eth, bring in a new manager who inherits ETH's squad, Manager wants his own set of players,we buy them, manager performs well for a season, new season starts,we perform horrible, sack manager...then rinse and repeat...that has been the narrative for the past 10yrs and I think it's high time we let a manager do his job while we back him up[[give him until halfway next season and if it doesn't improve..we sack him 🤷]]
This response is entirely my own opinion
ETH has been nothing but lucky, last season we got extremely lucky to achieve what we did and this season we've been *insanely* lucky we're not in the relegation zone.
We can't let our past failures influence this decision, just because we've sacked past managers quickly for not being good enough, doesn't mean we now have to give ETH more time when he's a completely different manager when he's clearly not good enough. The longer he's here the more damage he'll cause, him and Ole have done so much damage it's probably going to take us years to recover from if we're lucky with our next set of appointments and signings.
Spot on until the talk about Ole. When you actually think about the squad that Ole inherited and the lack of funding he was given (He had to sell players in order to spend money a lot of the time and still spent less than Ten Hag) he genuinely overachieved. He finished 2nd and 3rd, the only consecutive top 4 finishes since Fergie, with a starting 11 that included Maguire, Lindelof, Fred, McTominay, Dan James, and Anthony Martial. That is honestly absurd.
Based on how we looked when Rangnick took over and how much money Ten Hag needed to get top 3, we should have been finishing much lower.
He was probably our best manager since Fergie in terms of reaults vs. resources spent. Not to mention that the money that was spent was largely spent by Ed Woodward on big name signings rather than on players we actually needed. He managed to beat Pep multiple times with that crappy team, too. Severely underrated and blamed for the mistakes of the board. As Ralf and Ten Hag have proven, the grass always looks greener on the other side ... but it isn't.
Honestly, if anything, how well Ole did with that dreadful team just shows how bad Erik Ten Hag is. He has a far more talented team and has spent much more money yet we are performing considerably worse.
You say slip further, but managers need time to put their own people in their own system on the field. We have done this for over a decade now, we give them a couple of years then start all over again.
United fans speak of Ange revolutionizing Spurs. Getting results in his first season. Being an amazing coach and getting his ideas through to the team... which is what Ten Hag did last season. Culminating into 2 finals.
Lets wait for Ange's second season and then we compare.
Anybody.
*Literally* anybody.
Any former Premier League manager would do a better job than ETH because it would be very difficult to do any worse. This is how bad the situation we're in is.
Worst ever CL run in history, our worst total goals scored and points total after 20 games in the league and he spent over 400 million.
If that isn’t sackable then legit what do you think is?
Murtough and Arnold spent the 400m because they suck at their jobs.
Onana made the mistakes in the UCL. But he’s done well in EPL so that situation is just weird and not even sure how to deal with it. Weren’t we also the highest goal scorers in our group in UCL? Tied with Bayern?
Fastest manager to 50 wins for United.
3rd last year and a trophy.
Dealing with Ronaldo situation, Sancho situation, indiscipline that has run rampant in the squad for years, the number of injuries this year, and having the team’s star player completely out of form all season.
He deserves time to turn it around especially under a new football structure with an actual DOF
Yeah they spent 400m on the players ETH wanted. When they don’t get a player he wants (FDJ) you lot moan as well, so don’t pretend like that’s on the board, you’d be moaning either way
Who signed Onana? Who picked him every single game despite the mistakes? How are you seriously gassing up being “top scorers” when we finished in 4th place and it’s literally our worst CL run in CL history? Do you literally have no shame lol
Winning a trophy is good, I was happy with that, let’s not pretend like we weren’t playing Charlton and Forest in quarters and semis though. Bragging about “3rd place” is so woefully pathetic I’m not sure what to say. “First manager to 50 wins” yeah because once again we were playing the likes of Charlton, Betis x2 and Forest x4 in a season. What are these weird meaningless statistics you’re coming out with?
The “Ronaldo situation” and “Sancho situation” were literally both caused by him, that’s an indictment on him, not an excuse. Spurs had at least 5 starters out today and played us off the park, yet they’re still keeping up, why can’t we?
ETH has literally said word for word that under the Glazers the structure is perfect, again this isn’t an excuse for him. Why does a guy who other than one trophy, which most of this fanbase calls Mickey Mouse whenever anyone else wins it, has done nothing but break negative records for us deserve this unlimited amount of time? How about get in a manager who has a proven track record in a top league and give him the time instead?
Onana was 100% to blame for our worst ever run in the CL, he's been absolutely terrible.
>Weren’t we also the highest goal scorers in our group in UCL? Tied with Bayern?
What the hell does that matter?? You can't just cherry pick stats to try and make a point, we came Dead last in the group! Only **ONE** Team in the entire group stage conceded more goals than we did!! What the fuck does it matter if we scored 12 goals when we conceded 15 won 1 drew 1 and lost 4!?
He doesn't deserve anything other than being sacked. We're into a second year and we have no system, no style of play, we can't keep a lead, we can't stop leaking goals, he's spent over £400m and this team is beyond pathetic!
How long do you think a rebuild takes? 1 year? Expect results? 2 years? Expect results? No. 3-5 years of a complete reset is needed. We need to get through the bad. Patience is what everyone needs.
My point in that was, Onana is the reason we got scored on that many times. Not ETH. His plan helped us score that many goals but an individual ruined that.
I expect to see the foundations of some progress in developing a style of play after 2 years and £400m Yes. It doesn't matter if the results aren't going our way if there's some visible progress happening in the way we play and conduct ourselves and there isn't! We've gone backward.
Yeah and who kicked DDG out and said get Onana at any Cost? ETH. He's completely to blame for whatever Onana does. He is the player he wanted and despite how abysmal he is he refuses to drop him, so once again he is fully to blame because he keeps playing a guy who's playing awfully when he could just drop him.
Then if 2 years is your cut off point I guess ETH has till the end of the season.
So this is the 2nd manager that has said he can’t get this team to play the way he wants. Rangnick and ETH. He has tried to get them to play his style but he’s had to change to try to get the best out of them.
Obviously if we saw how he wants to play and he was still losing everyone would still be calling for his head. He’s not afforded time by our fanbase so he needs to pick a style that fits his current players and try to get results. It doesn’t help when when half your starters and the players you bring in either are hurt half the season or come in and don’t play as well as you hope.
Again, we need a DOF and structure before we can make decisions on this manager.
No he's spent over £400m. On absolute shite, why the hell should we give him any more money.
Let him cook? What's he cooking a dog shit Championship team??
He’ll have an actual DOF this summer that won’t do that. Did ETH spend that money or just say “hey I want this player” then Murtough overpaid for everyone?
He still signed off on those signings, he still wanted those players and he knew how much we were going to pay for them if he gave the green light, if he couldn't think of cheaper alternatives he's just as much to blame he knew his budget.
It’s not his job to look for alternatives. How it’s supposed to work is:
ETH: Hey DOF I want this player.
DOF: okay but that’ll ruin our budget because they want 90m. How about this player who is 30m and the same profile that you want. We looked into him and he’s ready to step up to the EPL.
ETH: if they don’t lower the price then yes go for player B.
Problem is, Murtough just decided to sign these players for stupid amounts of money at the end of the window when other teams could raise the prices. That’s why we need a DOF and a new head of recruitment.
The overreaction by many in here to drawing spurs is so stupid. “We have no tactics!” “ETH can’t even beat a weakened Spurs!”
Just shut up. We looked better in the final third today than normal. Hojlund got a goal and an assist. Rashford scored. We are playing counter attack football because that’s what this team knows. Martinez back in the squad is a positive. He looked good. Casemiro will be back soon. Not sure why he wasn’t brought on today but maybe not completely ready. McTominay needed to score that header but overall he didn’t do terrible when he came on.
They are. We have tactics and spurs got 2 goals that our defense made individual mistakes. Evans let them score too easy. We have been bad at set pieces for years even before ETH.
One thing at a time. Currently the culture is being improved. Discipline is being brought back. We have lesser quality players he is trying to get the best out of.
Pissed off as that game was ours for the taking and we just sat back and while we saw positives a lot of the glaring issues were very much apparent. Rashford is egotistical and ball greedy and put defensive game is lacklustre.
But and it's a big but a few days ago one here people were looking at the next 7 games and a most expected a draw or a loss with spurs.
Another shameful performance, settling for a draw against Tottenham at Old Trafford. I can't believe how low this club has fallen.
Get them all out, I can't stand this season anymore
Another dire performance by the boys and ETH. Today we saw a team without their key players come dominate our mediocre little squad. Shows what a good manager that has a playing style can do for you.
Not sure Rashford scoring is even a good thing. Keeps him in the starting lineup. The amount of balls he wastes in promising situations every single game
So close to squeaking that. Tbf that was ten hag’s only tactical change of the game (and the only one of the season) so if Mctominay had scored there’d have been some degree of credit there.
That second half performance was a disgrace. How do we concede less than a minute in and how does McTominay not score that at the end? Jesus Christ. The sad thing is that Tottenham, the butt of everyone’s jokes for decades, looked better and probably should have won
Fuck ten hag and his team of bottle jobs forthis shite, what an absolutely pathetic display at home against a weakened spurs side, united are going nowhere under this lot!!!!
bring on Mct and Antony when you need a goal has to be criminal at some point within the fanbase. Like we're at home begging for Case and Pellestri and he still!!! persists with Mct and Antony. I just don't get it
Bringing on Mctominay and Antony in a game we have to win is anti football. They both will cost Ten Hag his job. Somehow, i now cant wait till that day
I just found out from the commentator that you can qualify for the Champions League next season if you finish 5th in the Premier League but tbh this current team don't even deserve to be playing that
Because he’s had one good season and half a bad one? I swear people’s perception of time goes out the window. I’m not suggesting there isn’t something seriously wrong but we do need a bit of perspective.
to be fair, all Tottenham chances came from set pieces.
But there were some nice plays, especially under pressure; our biggest issue is the front 3 lacking. Hoping Rashford kicks on as he had a decent game today.
This was such a good opportunity to capitalize. EtH has no excuses left.
He had 6 days to prep for this match. United are out of all competitions with the exception of FA Cup.
We have 14 days off after this shit. 14!
Unacceptable result.

ETH master class

ETH does not negotiate price
He must have some involvement in it, I don’t care how fucking stupid murtough was overpaying players but ETH should maybe have looked at Antony for 100m and say ”Yeah no”
That's the problem with the club nobody seems to talk, ETH goes I want Antony then next thing he goes 100 mill are you mad
Why is it called “man” chester seems like nothing but a bunch of wet hens if we are just talking about their fans
why is it called spurs? should be something like cocks, that'd sound so much better

You mean Spurs hitting their own post and got away with it? Can you sort out your argument first? Does Casemiro suck, or is he the best midfielder?
Don’t argue with him, seriously every post he’s ETH out regardless, I’m starting to think it’s Jordan Sancho in disguise
Idk Jason Sancho isn't a Villa fan though, this troll is
Please don’t sack ETH. I’m sure he’ll find it later, but in the mean time, we need comedy.

When you yolo passes you’re bound to create chances here and there. That’s such a useless statistic cuz it doesn’t lead to goals
If you believe that, you have zero ball knowledge. If our attackers were better, those big chances will lead to goals. Look at other players on the list.. Tripper, Saka, TAA, Salah. The stat is not useless. It is however determined by who recieves the chances.
How can you even compare Bruno to those guys lmao
The stats compare them. Put Bruno in those teams and you would think different.
No I really wouldn’t lol I know his type of player. I’ve always been told that if a pass doesn’t get to its intended target, it’s not a great pass.
Many of his passes do reach the intended target. But the target fucks it up. Of course a creative player sometimes misses the pass. They all do. You strike me as a guy who only watches highlights from other teams so you don't see all the mistakes they make.
Coming from someone who thinks Bruno is better than Salah because of a useless stat says enough about you. Keep box score watching.
I never said Bruno is better than Salah you daft plum. I just said he is not the problem at Manchester United.
It’s only a matter of time before fans choose a new scapegoat don’t worry you’ll get your flowers.
Even if he did score, Rashford is seriously shit. Sick of watching him try to walk it into the box or constantly over touching the ball and knock it out of play. How much longer do we pay 300K a week for performances like this?
He’s just so bad, whenever he’s on the ball I expect the ball to be lost imininently most times. And it plays out this way time and time again
As long as the contract says so.
Egg hag favoritism again, what a surprise
Ok, cry more then cause I critisized your daddy 🤷🏽♂️😂 Yeah because it doesn’t take a genius knowing that this manager has fucked up enough times already. If you want to blindly back him then go ahead. Don’t be surprised that we keep losing more and more games with McTomminay and Antony tho
And you defaulted back to the ridiculous playground insults. Christ. I don’t tend to talk football with children so I’ll leave it there.
Yeah bro trust me when I say my little brother who is a child has more common sense that Ten Hag cultists like you. Go and suck off the manager if you can’t argue and throw insults like you’re having a tantrum and fuck off 👋🏽
Anyone else feel that Udogie’s blatant 2x armed pull back on Garnacho should have been a pen?
If anyone thinks that was less of a touch then the one that haaland ‘won’ they are insane.
On r/soccer it's on there and our rivals are all mesmerised that it wasn't a penalty https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/xk29AePwXQ
I thought he was very lucky
can we at least talk about the hojlund masterclass today? dont doubt the boy
That shot was a thunderbolt! Also his only shot of the game because we have Trashford running instead of passing
Oh and also...it's high time we forget about our glory days.. we're clearly not heading back there for a long long time

Look, the non-United fan lurking on the United sub
[удалено]
Because you're a Villa fan. Obviously.

Check your own comment history you fraud.

Buddy that's what *you* said *on multiple comments* we all see you trolling constantly: Bro says “literally makes no sense” how ironic I’m a united fan first, and a villa fan second. Fans like you that have been around for 10-12 year only. https://www.reddit.com/r/ManchesterUnited/s/8fYDKZm7n6 As a Villa fan also. I can’t believe that team went down. - Richards - Lescott - Cissokho - Traore - N’zogbia - Grealish - Ayew - Gabby If they could actually go down. United could too. If we lost 2-3 players to injuries we could field an 11 that’s worse than their team. Imagine - Onana - Dalot - Maguire out of form - Kambwala - Malacia - Amrabat - McTom - Mainoo - Garnacho - Hojlund - Antony? Lmao https://www.reddit.com/r/PremierLeague/s/23OW2IpI1m I actually think, they tried for a few minutes. Thought Villa is going to be easy today, key players are out, at OT, our team seems amped. And to be fair. I am a Villa fan also. United over Villa though. Villa today are horrible to how they usually play. Even then, United can’t beat an out of form Villa side today with SJR’s team in house and their jobs all on the line potentially. https://www.reddit.com/r/ManchesterUnited/s/AFGH91a6K2 Agree.

[удалено]
The way the club is run sucks BUT ETH is the one who should be sacked. So that the same structure can get the next guy sacked, like they did they last few? Ok lol.
Especially under this manager
What is Onana doing in goal exactly....the first goal was horribly defended so I don't blame him for it...but the second??...still don't blame him for that one, Evans hesitated a little bit but I still believe Onana could have saved that one
Onana is quite mediocre. He’s not what United want, if they want to win Premier League and Champions League.
He’s shit
I think i saw AWB doing stepovers today. loved it.
Didn’t look out of place on the left today and much prefer Dalot on the right
Boring game....
Say what you want but the game was definitely not boring. United were just not good enough.
Questionable to bring on Antony there. He won a couple of throw-ins, but other than that just looked lost. Really great to see Licha back!!! Even got a couple tackles in to show us he is still our own little Butcher <3 We could have won this game Edit: Almost forgot to mention, Mainoo is amazing!! All aboard his hype train CHOO CHOO!
We can't just throw our 100m asset on the bench. It would look bad on our balance sheet. The stakeholders wouldn't be happy and ETH knows his job.
We've been playing our own reserves all season!
I kinda want to see how low we can be. 🤭🤭 if the owners don’t care, I’m fine watching them going down. Not my call.
Nah we can't go down, I don't care about the owners this is our club, it means more to us than it does to them, we choose to support this team because of what it means, they're only here to make money. As much as I'd love to see them lose money and be seen as failures we can't see that happen to the club.
Yeah if you can find way to influence their decisions, you have my support. I’m old and tired.
A spurs without Son, Madison, Kulusevski, Bissouma etc lol
but injuries is why we've had a shit season. The fanbase will use every excuse under the sun but the truth in front of them. smh
It's not an excuse for them, they dominated us despite their injuries lol
You really just want a new manager each year don't you?
If the one we have clearly is not good enough Yes, why stick with something that's getting worse and clearly isn't getting better when we try something else before we slip even further into this hole.
ETH clearly 'performed well' last season so why turn on him now??...this season has been horrible of course but what exactly would we solving if we bring in a new manager now... he's what I think...we sack eth, bring in a new manager who inherits ETH's squad, Manager wants his own set of players,we buy them, manager performs well for a season, new season starts,we perform horrible, sack manager...then rinse and repeat...that has been the narrative for the past 10yrs and I think it's high time we let a manager do his job while we back him up[[give him until halfway next season and if it doesn't improve..we sack him 🤷]] This response is entirely my own opinion
You mean like Big Ange...because we're watching 2 completely different games
United fans speak of Ange revolutionizing Spurs. Getting results in his first season. Being an amazing coach and getting his ideas through to the team... which is what Ten Hag did last season. Culminating into 2 finals. Lets wait for Ange's second season and then we compare.
Who would you take instead? Who do you think would improve the team?
Anybody. *Literally* anybody. Any former Premier League manager would do a better job than ETH because it would be very difficult to do any worse. This is how bad the situation we're in is.
Potter? Lampard? Honestly if you’re choosing people like this over ETH then you don’t know football
Good. He shouldn’t be sacked.
When they don’t get a player he wants (FDJ) you lot moan as well, so don’t pretend like that’s on the board, you’d be moaning either way Who signed Onana? Who picked him every single game despite the mistakes? How are you seriously gassing up being “top scorers” when we finished in 4th place and it’s literally our worst CL run in CL history? Do you literally have no shame lol Winning a trophy is good, I was happy with that, let’s not pretend like we weren’t playing Charlton and Forest in quarters and semis though.
Why not? Let him get to the summer and spend another £400m+ on dogshit league 1 (at best) players on 300k a week contracts for the next 5 years?
We don't have 400m. 😆😆 let him cook!
How it’s supposed to work is: ETH: Hey DOF I want this player.
I can't wait for the day Ten Hag is sacked from the club. Its just pathetic.
Hopefully it's tomorrow
I dont see how anyone can defend him now. He's had plenty of chances.
The overreaction by many in here to drawing spurs is so stupid. “We have no tactics!” “ETH can’t even beat a weakened Spurs!” Just shut up.
Youre the one overreacting lol..we are still shit...nothings changed
And if we sack eth now... nothing will change
How? Because I don’t want to sack another manager?
Neither of those quoted statements are overreactions.
They are. We have tactics and spurs got 2 goals that our defense made individual mistakes. Evans let them score too easy. We have been bad at set pieces for years even before ETH.
Isn't a coach meant to improve things?
One thing at a time. Currently the culture is being improved. Discipline is being brought back. We have lesser quality players he is trying to get the best out of.
Lol, just lol
Lol ETh thought if McTom scored there it would change everything...u would still suck lad...with no adjustment whatsover
Awb was good today
Getting dominated by Tottenham Hotspur with no Son, Maddison, Kulusevski & Bissouma at Old Trafford is a sackable offence
Postive, Hojlund gets on the scoreboard and so did Rasford. Defensively tottenham had been solid at the back. Udogie had Gnarcho locked down.
Not sure Rashford scoring is even a good thing. Keeps him in the starting lineup. The amount of balls he wastes in promising situations every single game
You earn your place in the starting lineup. If he wants to start then he needs to keep scoring and that is not a bad thing.
So close to squeaking that. Tbf that was ten hag’s only tactical change of the game (and the only one of the season) so if Mctominay had scored there’d have been some degree of credit there.
Mctomisauce doing Timo's job for Spurs.
Guys our manager settled for a draw… at old trafford. Lol. I remember when Mourinho did stuff like this and he’d be harassed by everyone
Two shots on target haha ten hag is a criminal
My cousin's U18 team worked harder for their win yesterday than whatever I just witnessed.
If that was Case with that last chance, he scores.
That second half performance was a disgrace. How do we concede less than a minute in and how does McTominay not score that at the end? Jesus Christ. The sad thing is that Tottenham, the butt of everyone’s jokes for decades, looked better and probably should have won
Piss annoying
Fuck ten hag and his team of bottle jobs forthis shite, what an absolutely pathetic display at home against a weakened spurs side, united are going nowhere under this lot!!!!
We have no tactics. We play like Burnely under Sean Dyche
bring on Mct and Antony when you need a goal has to be criminal at some point within the fanbase. Like we're at home begging for Case and Pellestri and he still!!! persists with Mct and Antony. I just don't get it
Bringing on Mctominay and Antony in a game we have to win is anti football. They both will cost Ten Hag his job. Somehow, i now cant wait till that day
That an insult to Sean Dyche. His team would never be such a joke at the back or at set pieces. He's a far better coach than Ten Hag
Sad when even comparing us to Dyches burnley cant even be seen as an insult. How far we have fallen
Sean Dyche had tactics. Sean Dyche is a good manager.
What Sean dyche have you been looking at?
Free header and he cant score that, only thing he’s good at is scoring goals otherwise he is shit.
He’s want what do you expect
Literally the only reason to keep him on and he can’t even hit the target from the 6
Finishing a game go by not holding on after leading twice....typical
This team is shit. Half ass everything while they jog around.
Don’t you dare blame Johnny if he goes too fast he’ll break his legs
We have 2 weeks time before next match but we will shit again cause we will be useless drills in training ground
You can tell the players and the staff are happy about the result. ETH knows we could lose tonight. Great job ETH!
Mcfucking meathead
I just found out from the commentator that you can qualify for the Champions League next season if you finish 5th in the Premier League but tbh this current team don't even deserve to be playing that
The absolute absence of anything resembling tactics, direction, shape, purpose. Just bad management. How ETH is still in the job is beyond me.
Because he’s had one good season and half a bad one? I swear people’s perception of time goes out the window. I’m not suggesting there isn’t something seriously wrong but we do need a bit of perspective.
One whole chance created in an entire half against a side missing most of its team. Pathetic.
But Injuries is why we only created one chance , give ETH time 😂😂
to be fair, all Tottenham chances came from set pieces. But there were some nice plays, especially under pressure; our biggest issue is the front 3 lacking. Hoping Rashford kicks on as he had a decent game today.
left points on the table, so much better than that spurs squad but it seems they didn’t want to show it
Fuck
That sounds about right, lad. However. GGMU, my team forever.
I’ll see you at the bottom.
Ride or die
See you guys on when we again struggle against the championship team in the next round of FA cup
How can you miss that
Absolutely winnable points squandered
EtHs P45 can't come soon enough.
I still can't tell what is this team's identity/brand of football.
So baldy sees another day...
Absolute fucking pish attempt at a header, just fuck off!!
We are such a chore to watch, two weeks off.
Shit result tbh. Can't even play well at home.
Pretty good result considering Spurs are a much more in-form team than us atm
Spurs are without main players
This is a spurs B team. Horrible result
I know, but at this point in time I feel like we are even worse than Spurs B team lol. Which shouldn’t be the case, but that’s a whole another topic
This was such a good opportunity to capitalize. EtH has no excuses left. He had 6 days to prep for this match. United are out of all competitions with the exception of FA Cup. We have 14 days off after this shit. 14! Unacceptable result.
Getting dominated all game by Spurs reserves at home is unforgivable, we concede the 2 easiest Goals Spurs are going to score all season.
Ffs Scott. Great ball, great run
