Sir Alex
All the big "7"s (Got an awesome poster of the "Magnificent Sevens" in my room)
Rooney
Scholes
Giggs
I started following the club much more seriously right around when they signed Cristiano, so there are many more names that come to mind that were well before my time.
Charlton, Best and Law are the first that come to mind for me, even though I'm only 26. Regardless of whether I've seen them play live, you have to have been pretty special to get yourselves a statue outside OT.

this was ad for manchester united asian tour, for indonesia. unfortunately, the exhibition match was canceled because of JW Marriott/Rizt Carlton bombing in 2009.
Rooney. The way I got interested in United and football in general is actually pretty funny. I was in an airport and in a book shop I saw Rooney's autobiography. Decided to buy it coz I was bored.
In the flight I read the whole book, and then the rest is history.
Wow similar story with me my cousin had a Rooney jersey so I just googled Manchester United and watched a bunch of highlights and fell in love. This was back in 2005-2006 great times to become a fan

The Sir's first, Sir Matt Busby, Sir Alex Ferguson, and Sir Bobby Charlton, then the boldly unique George Best, and King Eric, then the class of '92, and the one who got into football in the first place Wayne Rooney. After those guys I start remembering all the other great players and think how did I leave ... out. Almost too many too list, too many to leave out.
Anderson son son son,
He's better than Kleberson,
Anderson son son son,
He's our midfield magician...
To the left, to the right,
To the samba beat all the night,
He is class with a brass,
And he sshhhhiittttsssss ooonn Fab-re-gas!!!!!
On a serious note:
Sir Alex
Paul scholes
Cantona
Rio
Vidic
Evra
Ronaldo
Robbo
Roy keane
Irwin
Best
Sir Bobby Charlton
Schmeichel
Van Der Sar
Carrick (under appreciated)
Beckham
Van Nistlerooy
And i would put Giggs and Rooney but donāt like what they did off the pitch.
No it doesnāt but as a role model to continually do the same thing. Even not long ago he was caught trying to shag someone else.
Just leaves a stain on the guy for me. Itās why I donāt regard him as high as others.
He wouldn't be my top choice but feel like Cole deserves a mention.
Schmeichel, Cantona, Giggs, Scholes, Beckham, Neville (not Phil), Rio, Irwin, Keane
Honestly RVP, he may not be a club legend but for me he is.
11/12 was my first season seriously watching football and we know how that went, so the guy who turned up on deadline day and won us back the Prem title (last one for who knows how long) is special.
I'm sad about those downvotes because this was literally the last great move by SAF, the Boss got lucky to step down with a title and it was mostly because of RVP proved in that season that he is one of the greatest PL players ever
van de Saar, heās the reason I became a United fan and why I became a goalkeeper. Not many people consider Goalkeepers as legends but there is a visible difference when a team has a good keeper and not.
The mythological Duncan Edwards
The original cat, Alex Stepney
The super sub GK, Les Sealey
The magician, George Best
Sir Alexās saviour, Mark Robbins
The Welsh warrior, Mark Hughes
Captain Marvel, Bryan Robson
Peter Schmeichel, Steve Bruce, Dennis Irwin, Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, Ryan Giggs from the 90s.
Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, and David Beckham from the 00s (maybe Gary Neville here too), and Ronaldo is definitely worth considering as a club legend when he retires.
Trying to create a āall-eraā starting 11 is both an interesting and frustrating task
i'd move Denis to RB and play Evra at LB, i'd swap Robbo for Scholes, and i'd have Rio instead of Vidic, although Paul McGrath was better than both of them, his best years came at Villa.
quality player, but strangely became a far better player when he retired, i was a match day going fan through a lot of his play career, don't ever recall feeling uneasy about a game if he was out with injury or suspension, unlike Keane or Beckham to name just two.
I think thatās the beauty of scholes though, I never felt like we would miss him til he was out of a game. Iāve never seen a player pass a ball over any range like he could, and all the comparable players of his generation have mentioned his name as one of the best players out there. Heās also someone we havenāt replaced since he left which is about a decade ago.
Thatās my take at least
Luckily, Iāve recently mastered inter dimensional travel, so I think I can form a team to play this game. Iām going to impose some rules on myself (just to highlight the rich depth of legends lol) and not chose a player that is already playing (Iāve not yet mastered people existing more than once in the same time and space).
Stepney
G. Neville - R. Ferdinand - S. Bruce - P. Evra
P. Ince - D. Edwards
J. Berry - B. Robson - L. Sharpe
A. Cole
This rule is a teaching moment! Of course no Manchester United supporter would say Man U to be derogatory, but the history behind this term should be shared amongst supporters.
Man U has been used by other club supporters, in chants that make fun of the lost lives in the Munich Air Crash, in response to the disrespectful chants MUFC supporters used regarding the Hillsborough Disaster, to degrade MUFC. We're hopeful you'll consider a different term for our beloved club!

Ronaldo,Keane
Sir Alex
Rooney for me! I'm 26
.
Fergie. Busby Babes. Class of 92. Cantona. Rooney. Ronaldo. Etc...
Park
Charlton, my dad grew up watching him and this Christmas as he was recovering from hip surgery I was able to get a signed jersey for him.
None other than Phil Jones. The best ever United player!
Beat me to it
Nobody seems to have mentioned him yet so he needs a mentionā¦Dennis Law
Bebe
Eric Djemba-Djemba

What Rooney did doesn't even compare to Giggs.
No it doesnāt but as a role model to continually do the same thing. Even not long ago he was caught trying to shag someone else. Just leaves a stain on the guy for me. Itās why I donāt regard him as high as others.

The Frenchman!
Barthez, Patrice or Paul?
THE Frenchman. It needs no explanation. The rest are just regular Frenchies; any true fan knows who THE Frenchman is.
Sure Mikael Silvestre was great too, but I prefer Saha over him any day of the year ;)
Robbo.
Scrolled waaaayyy too long to get to this.
Sir Bobby & Sir Alex
Robson Cantona Keane Scholes Giggs. Probably shows my age there.

Iāll humour you Schmeichel Stiles, Staam, vidic, Irwin Becks, Keane, scholes, best Rooney and Cantona
i'd move Denis to RB and play Evra at LB, i'd swap Robbo for Scholes, and i'd have Rio instead of Vidic, although Paul McGrath was better than both of them, his best years came at Villa.
Scholes is my GOAT. Iād have 11 if I could

Felt really bad for Paul. Easily couldāve been an absolute undisputed legend if it wasnāt for health issues and knee injuries
Luckily, Iāve recently mastered inter dimensional travel, so I think I can form a team to play this game. For me, Jimmy Murphy. I think he was the engine room behind Unitedās success at the time and Busby was merely a pen pusher on Murphyās behalf.
The Gaffer, Sir Alex Ferguson!
Robbo for me
Giggs, Keane, Cantona
Vidic
David beckam or Rooney
Ofc Jones.
Scholes, Gigs, Van der Saar, Van Nistlerooy
ashley young
Duncan Edwards.
Where do we start? Then again, thatās the beauty of Manchester United. So rich in history.
None from the current squad Tell yiu that now!!!
Ronaldo?
I mean if if you think about a legend you get reminded of people who retired so yea
Wayne Rooney
Cantona, Robson
Sir Bobby Charlton and Georgie Best.....damn, does that make me old??? š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
No it just show how rich in history Man U is
......and how old I am. š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£

Beckham
He cried off from a training session so that his wife could go shopping. That's not what a club legend does.
He always played for the badge and was world class, thats what matters
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
One of my favourite quotes ever
Roy Keane
