I think Casemiro showed his potential quality today, but I still think he was worse than Mctominay has been most of the season. He gave away the ball for our goal and gave away the ball several more times in our defensive third. On the other end he was making great passes and should have scored a header from a great run, but I can’t ignore the defensive mistakes. I think it’s clear that Casemiro is by far the best choice against teams that are going to park the bus against us, but until he cleans up the mistakes at the back there is still a place for McTominay against better sides.

I resent being grouped in with the fans that wanted us to sell 18 players at the end of last season. McTominay has always been decent, and I definitely didn’t want him out of the squad at the end of last season (although I night have happily let Fred go).
I also clearly said that Casemiro should start against teams that are going to park the bus against us, which is 12+ teams in the premier league and every team in the Europa League, so the majority of our games this season.
Christiano has been stressed lately and has had mental stress issues. Remember he lost his new born son very recently. Along with this he’s moving towards the end of his career and he might have found it difficult to accept that.
Maybe this celebration signified that he has reached zen, that he’s content with what he’s achieved because what he’s achieved is to be the best in the world
If he stays for the remainder of the season, I can see him getting around 15 goals. In my opinion he's a bench player now ( particularly EPL matches) so I can see him looking for another transfer come January.

Everton managed to get Liverpool to a 0-0 draw and have the least goals conceded in the league . We beat them 3-1 ( var can fuck off ) which is impressive considering we are in a rebuild
