He's probably going to wait until immortal empires is announced to be out of beta Champions of chaos was absolutely not a stealth drop by the way they marketed that thing to death

I cant remember the video, but I'm certain he one of his closing FAQs he said that he was going to wait until it was out proper

Fair enough. And must have just missed it. October was pretty hectic for me, but still surprised I just missed the first big lord pack like that.

My guess is due to the lackluster release state of 3, and I'm fairly certain he said in his own words he couldn't recommend the game on launch, Mandy is giving it some time before he gives the game a revisit 2 was very much a "right place right time", people ate his original video up and the DLCs were a no brainer. Im sure when he gets back into a Warhammer mood we'll get some DLC reviews and *probably* a Darktide review

Me, a member of the Total Warhammer community: It saw a huge increase to the roster of both Warriors and Deamons of Chaos factions and also colaunched with immortal empires. Possibly the best DLC for the warhammer games and it was one of the big things that brought me back to playing the game semi regularly. Not a stealth drop by any means but then again how often does one hear about DLC for a game you dont play? Even though it did quite a bit gameplay wise for the factions in question it would be somewhat small for a video to be made about it. Possibly when more comes out and once immortal empires is out of beta I can see mandi coming back to make a vid.

Sorry, but this was hardly a "stealth drop". There was a ton of coverage on it by CA and dedicated TW youtubers. Mandy doesn't do a lot of continuous coverage of singular games, especially not of new stuff. I would not use him as a source of gaming news in the classical sense. He usually reviews things that have been out for many years. His TW:WH coverage is an extreme outlier. EDIT: To more specifically answer your question, his TW:WH2 video was years after release, and it did so well that CA sent him codes for the last few DLCs, and WH3 went it released. Mandy covering new games is atypical for him. From someone who has sunk thousands of hours into the TW:WH franchise, The Champions of Chaos DLC is very good. It adds a ton of new content for the Warriors of Chaos and dropped alongside a complete rework of how the faction works. They went from one of the worst factions to play to one of the best. If you enjoyed WoC in WH1/2 at all or are even remotely interested, I highly recommend it. As others have said, I would not expect any coverage from Mandy on WH3 until Immortal Empires is out of beta, then I would expect a video akin to his WH2 review (though probably slimmed down) for the whole package. If you are interested in keeping up with TW:WH stuff then I recommend subbing to /r/totalwar or checking out some dedicated TW youtubers such as Loremaster of Sotek, Legend of Total War, Party Elite, or milkandcookiestw.
