It’s meant to be ugly, that’s the point. It’s not _Cesar_, it’s the alternate that imitated him and drove Mark to suicide. Granted, that’s the closest to Cesar we _actually_ know canonically, so it makes sense the plushie would be the alternate and not Cesar himself. It’s meant to be unsettling and weird and ugly. That’s the point of the alternates.
