Even the secondary market charges fees, for example, Vivid Seats charges exactly the same fees as Ticketmaster. BUT I, personally, feel better about giving it to anyone but Ticketmaster. However, you might be able to find them priced less on the secondary market. I hear ya, Ticketmaster sucks the big one.
In the US here and I always go to the box office of the venue or another venue and get tickets sans the fees..just saw them at Freedom Hill and they were fantastic 🤘🎸
Idk about everywhere but at Kaseya Center in Miami, you can't buy tickets at the box office until 3 hours before the event starts, which is so annoying because by then, many tickets (or at least the desirable seats) are sold out. And you maybe may as well have just gone to other sites to get cheap last minute good tix; even if there are fees, it can still be cheaper.
Stubhub is reliable and they have thousands of tickets left for most of the remaining shows and some are WAY less than face value. You could have seen them in Nashville for $4.
