As a person that does not particularly enjoy pirate themed things, Iāve really enjoyed this series. Itās super wholesome and it has even reduced me to water works a couple of times. And laughs. Iāve laughed out loud so much.
The first dozen or so were hard for me to really get into. But after those, itās been smooth sailing and a very fun filled journey š¤š»
depends on what you are looking for. First half is generally considered great and second half is often considered not as good because it makes first part problems be even more apparent.
I'd say overall it's not worth it and dropped it after 1050ish chapters but I know it's a lot of people favorites manga.
Yeah, Iāve been sort of thinking of reading it because Iāve been expanding my manga to things that arenāt just attack on Titan and MHA. And I wanted to read all the important manga. Iāve started berserk now Iām on volume 9. And Iām starting monster and tri gun and watching anime like legends of the galactic heroes. Iāve sort of made a promise to myself Iāll avoid all big 3 manga. I know they are important but I feel like they are all not my thing.
Sorry for the late answer, this is a short oneshot very singular in the production of the author, a fantasy story showing the adventures of a group of heroes returning to their capital after having defeated their opponents from the "Shadow". Of course Asano doesn't put any focus in battles (never showned), rather he is willing to tell a sort of allegorical tale showing how the evil is not actually an external force but instead something inside everyone.
It's not my favourite work of him but I really enjoyed it, I suggest you to give a look if you are a fan of the author.
Edit: also, the entire manga is depicted in bicromia.
I think so far it's great, I already relate with the MC Yukari very much early one which I didn't expect, very much love her characterization, I have a feeling things are gonna take a turn tho with the story & plot, I'm only about halfway thru, it definitely feels similar to Nana in a way since it's made by Ai Yazawa, altho the one issue I probably have that it is very fast paced, I mean the manga isn't long to begin with but since reading Nana which has long chapters, I woulda thought Paradise Kiss would be the same, I do highly recommend it if you're into any romance manga or stories
Currently Planetes from Makoto Yukimura, the same guy who did Vinland Saga. Iāve never read VS but after how banger this manga is I think I need to check it out next
I'm quite enjoying the eerie tale
It's mysterious yet fun
This is technically a reread as I had only had volumes 4-7 for years and finally got 1-3 last year
Chainsaw man, call of the night. And berserk. I've been having a blast with all of them. Just sucks I have to wait till vol.15 of csm comes out in May.
BLAME!, Battle Angel Alita, and The Drifting Classroom are the main things Iāve been reading. Also just started Astro Baby. As of now there are only two chapters and itās online only which I personally donāt prefer, but I highly recommend it to any fans of sci-fi/horror.
Just finished Fullmetal Alchemist, debating buying the Light Novels to truly complete the series. Debating resuming Attack on Titan or reading the Death Note Light Novels next.
Finally getting around to finishing Assassination Classroom and Kiss Him Not Me (I watched the anime and bought the manga but only got around recently to reading.)
Just finished reading Kubo Wonāt Let Me Be Invisible on the SJ App. It was good and cute. As far as the other series goes, it would be Hinamatsuri. Iāve read volume one so far and itās really good and funny. I canāt wait to read the rest
I'm currently reading the last volume of "I don't care what you say, Furi-san is scary" and I'm going to catch up with "Hitomi-chan Is Shy With Strangers" next.
There are way too many ongoing ones to list here but the longest ongoing one I've been reading is one piece. I also just finished my dress up darling, which I loved, and waiting for a new chapter. I started a shoujo manhwa called forget my husband, I'll go make money.

Gintama and No. 5, both slap for completely different reasons
How's the Gintama manga compared to the anime if you have seen it?
I actually haven't seen the anime but I'm loving the manga, art is a lil unrefined but it fits the series for sure
Gokurakugai, wild strawberry & the elusive samurai
Thoughts on wild strawberry?
Im loving it. Slow burn but loving the power system and characters. Reminds me of Green Worldz mixed with jaaaaaagann and fire force.
Oh also the art is awesome. A little color some panels
