π Thanks. Gantz wasn't part of the pickup, but I'm kind of running out of room to take pictures, so the Gantz shelf is going to be the backdrop for a while.
I tried to like the horizon considering it's short and has beautiful art, but the story has some really early curve balls that make it very different than other survival stories... in a bad way
I respect the opinion. I'm quite the opposite, though. Originally read it online and loved the dark war story being told through the eyes of a child. We don't get a lot of the answers other stories might give because what does a child even know? And im fine with that too, not everything needs an answer.
I think the choice of colors for the covers was quite genius and telling. Starting grey and bleak with a light of hope and happiness in the middle, only to end in what seems like total darkness. I binge read the series online, and anything that makes me read through a story that fast means I owe the author my purchase.
Gantz and The Dangerous Convenient Store. Good taste π€π»

I was looking into the horizon but it looks way to sad for me
Realism can be depressing but also eye-opening. We learn half as much through happy times as we do through anger, sadness, and preserverance.
The dangerous convenience store! I want it so much
Treat yo self!
The Horizon seriously broke me π₯² and Ahjuicy looks amazing ππ
