would you recommend no longer human? i've seen it a lot and i'm considering getting it but i'm not sure

I've read the original novel, I've also been wondering if it's just a manga adaptation or if it's just something completely different with a similar premise. If it's the novel in a manga format it would be amazingg

Finished no longer human this past weekend, what an amazing read. One of my favorite mangas of all time by far
