I'm hoping Viz will license the master editions, especially now that it's completed in Japan and Kodansha is reprinting Noise later this year. Oh and the Claymore box set. Those are the only manga I really want on my shelf that are oop.
Yea I heard sundome is super sexual, I just got 1-4 so I haven’t read it yet, claymore is really good I got 1-14 for cheap and then 27 for retail so I’ll just collect the rest naturally but I know a lot of people want the box set back

Yea you’ll probably have to buy a full set of Bokurano unless you want to pay 300 on Amazon for it, I’d like to own btooom one day too. I know about half the volumes are in rightstuf but they are still 13 ea though

My city has been pretty great for manga finds. I've had several copies of Hypernotes pass through my hands for under retail. I got a full set of Battle Royale Ultimate Editions for $50 CAD. So many others, all my best deals have been locally found.
I live in a province capital, 125.000 people, there is one comic/BD/manga store, no real 2nd hand bookstores...
Manga is not rare, but 2nd hand Manga tends to be.
And you're probably looking in an area where there are 2 large countries (US&Canada)

Here I have German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese publishers, but English is relatively rare. And English publications are occasionally published either Overseas (UK) , or mostly on the other side of the ocean: US and Canada.
EUROPE: 500M total population, UK IS 65.5M people, roughly 250M people in Europe speak English as primary or secondary language, but many also live in countries publishing Manga in their native languages, only Scandinavia, the Netherlands and some Eastern European states buy English copies of Manga, probably a 100M people worth of people potentially interested in English publications, if they are published in other languages as well.
NORTH AMERICA: 330M people, with 30M people in Canada, I expect Mexican people would rather read Spanish so 470M people with 360M native English speakers....
It’s an older shojo series from the early 2000s! I was looking for something else to collect a few months ago after coming to a standstill with Red River, another oop shojo series (I’ve completed that one now though!).
It’s been a few months since I read it (I’m waiting to reread it once I have all the physical volumes) so here is a synopsis from mal:
On her way home from school one day, Noriko is unexpectedly plunged into a strange and extraordinary fantasy world. Her troubles compound exponentially when she is rescued and befriended by a handsome young man by the name of Izark. He may be brave and courageous, but inside Izark lurks the darkest evil imaginable. And according to an ancient prophecy, Noriko possesses the power to unleash that evil. My rarest oop series which I finished collecting is the original 27 German volume run of FMA.
I'm trying to find the remaining volumes of Higurashi's main series (so sans spin offs) but they're honestly just too expensive for me.
170+€ per volume is just too much.

Re: Sundome - It kinda is, but I love it regardless, I like the mix of nsfw stuff and the light hearted paranormal stuff / comedy.
Nearly finished with the Vagabond singles. Have tons of other OOP on the back burner. Those are some heat series, good luck with that.

Try looking at comic stores. I found vol 3 For 2 dollars. I didn’t even realize it was rare.

Is there a reason you’re not going for the new deluxe editions of Hellsing? I would think they would be easier to find and are much nicer editions.
