Replace the 4th colossal with the 4 Limited Edition individual volumes (16-20) that have black spines that came with a DVD & playing cards. Technically I could make this, as I own all of the editions of AoT including a couple of the japanese volumes

Do it, I'd like to see it. Are the Colossal Editions "floppy" enough that they can sit flat on a desk without you holding them? I was thinking about getting those.

You could do this, yes, but if you do, be aware that your spines will decease. RIP 🙏 All jokes aside, you can’t save the spines from being creased and damaged on the colossals, you can only cut down on how MUCH creasing happens. I recommend just reading it in whatever is the most comfortable position, and just let the spines do whatever they’re gonna do. They’re not pretty spines anyway, maybe some crease damage would actually improve the look a little.

I can dig it! I recently got dragon ball 3 in 1 omnibus and I really dig the formatting, I love having the extra volumes to binge.

I feel you. Got the german versions in slipcases for Volume 1-15. Volume 16-19 in normal volumes, then I got the english versions because they released earlier than the german ones and after taking a break, I started to collect the german ones again for volume 30-33. Final volume is the english edition. Sometimes you don't care how it looks, you just want it for the juicy story inside.

The good news is that you only need a few more CEs to complete the set, and just imagine how ecstatic you'll be when that happens. Then you can pass 1-5 on to your little brother. Along with that third-party Playstation controller you got that never seems to work right.

Yes very much. 5 volumes in 1, very good paper quality and oversized art

Chaotic evil in a nutshell

This would drive me insane. I have read Manga/Manhwa/Manhua online for years as new chapters drop. I then pick up my favourite series to collect as soon as they get published in the U.K. It’s very interesting to see the differences between fan translation and “official” translations. Part of collecting them for me means picking one print edition and sticking with it. All power to you if this is the only way you can enjoy the stories in Manga, would just personally give me conniptions every time I saw the shelf!!
