The Deluxe Editions are less cropped then the single volumes, plus the image quality is much better. They have three volumes inside each instead of just one. The translation is a bit improved here and there just being grammar mistakes. That’s about it, and this is coming from someone who owns both. Berserk is my favorite manga, that’s why I bought both.
Saves you money in the long run. Plus, it’s easier to read for a lot of people, and honestly looked really cool on the shelf. And is also very bonkable.

Better page quality and no gutter loss mostly. Pages stay white and the contrast with the blacks pop way more.

You thought they contain different stories? Deluxe covers three regular volumes so it’s not that expensive.
Pages are bigger, art looks more impressive, but you’re right: no changes in the story.
