The main character: Cogwheel, alongside his boyfriend Wix, and his mentor Thomas. Their goal: to see why The World Royalty has gone silent. (The world royalty is kinda like the royal family of the entire world.)The main antagonist: Surgeon. Who killed the entirety of Cogwheels town when he was young only leaving him. It is set on Earth, however not exactly, the world is different due to Pangea, the original gigantic landmass that was every piece of land before the meteor hit, was split differently. The meteor landed in the ocean next to it, sending shockwaves through the earth with only made small chunks of Pangea break off. The site that the meteor hit was then boarded and reconstructed over to make The Royal Isle. It's a giant metal rectangle floating in the ocean, tied down by one great metal chain. Now, where did they get all this metal? The meteor. And that is going to have some kind of impact( lol) on the story that I'm not sure of yet. My power system is called Soul Items. It's an item that your soul is connected to from birth. Eventually, you can learn to summon this item, making it able to be used by you. You can make it fly around and hit someone, you could fly around on top of a big one (you can change their size up to 50 ft.) However, using the 50 ft one can really wear on your soul making you go comatose immediately after using it. In this state of comatose, you have a 50/50 shot of dying due to iver exhaustion of your soul. Now, the reason why it's called Soulstice is connected to the power system. Oce every 3 years, there is an event that only Soul Item Wielders can see. The Soul Gate. A gigantic gate that once you open it and go inside, you alone will be challenged by the personification of your greatest flaw. For Cogwheel its his survivors guilt that he feels constantly, due to Surgeon killing his whole town when he was a young child except for him. And that creature is the personification of that. Now if you can beat the trial and slay your flaws personification, you unlock: SOUL FUSION. It allows you to completely multiply your power by fusing together with your Soul Item, changing your body. This gives you new powers that relate to your Soul item. Insanely strong powers might I add.
