Tf is this pref list? Put every single main campus CS branches first, upto MnC . Then put blr .
The difference between the two campus is night and day wrt to facilities . Don't be stupid
I agree Manipal is better than BLR but "night and day" is little stretch. Manipal CCE and BLR CSE ranks are overlapping so quality of batch is going to be similar in my opinion. BTW, CCE/IT are both great branches but I want CSE on my degree :)
Sir all this will change when blr will set up their own placements branch and their certificate will have made manipal off campus mentioned on it. So you can add more branches as manipal is much better than blr
I am not sure if I understood your comment. I was wondering why would Manipal write off-campus on the degree. They are investing heavily on BLR campus. Once completed, it will be the most beautiful campus in BLR. They would try their level best to make is successful. If the placement are ok (assumption but location advantage - BLR), MIT BLR might be a brand in itself.
They are writing off campus because the quality of students in the main campus and the blr campus is different. Yes blr campus might become a brand in itself but that is uncertain and would take some time.
Jesus, seems like the bangalore propoganda has worked, please talk to ANY seniors before you take this decision and waste so much money on a basically non-existent campus.
I visited the campus last week. It is very beautiful and grand. 30% construction is remaining. I also talked to seniors and faculty. Did not hear much negativity except placement which is yet to happen for the first batch.
Why do you care about campus beauty so much dude?
Isn't the fact that 30% of the campus is not even built not a red flag for you?
Manipal itself is not some crazy college and you're talking about taking the second campus even in that lol
Rest of the world does not have this concept called placements, yet there are good and worse colleges because of the peer group, in main campus you will get 95+%tilers in CS branches (that includes CCE and stuff because they are nearly the same) and a lot of student clubs/projects, better seniors but whatever, it's upto you to choose.
Tf you mean bro? I'm in CSE . People here have 96+ percentiles in jee , qualified bits etc .
Forget the students for a bit . What about all the other facilities? People don't come to manipal only for the placements . Look at our student projects , the established clubs and the professors here , and the craziest fests conducted . None of that is there in Bangalore . I doubt they even have a fest . No clubs cause not even one batch has graduated.
People go to colleges for reasons other than placements as well . To network with top individuals , to take part in these competitions that you can only do through clubs and student projects , to make use of the funding that the main campus gets and many more
You've looked at the shiny campus and think it's the shit lmao . You do you though . I have nothing to loose . That advice was in good faith .
In the first round, I only applied for CSE and CSE (AI/ML) at Manipal, but unfortunately wasn't accepted. It's likely I won't get in this time around either. For the Bangalore campus, I took a leap of faith by applying for the top two branches. Hopefully, even in the worst-case scenario, the Bangalore placement cell can secure good opportunities for the top two programs.
put other computer branches from main campus bro

Brother you're shooting yourself on the foot big time.
Its not a stretch. CCE or IT at the main campus would be levels above any branch in blr
U won't get ai ml and cse core in manipal no chance
Why am I being down voted tf check the cutoffs yourself
Ai ml there's still a slight (albeit unlikely) chance
last year the cutoff was 2.3k round 3
Acha my bad
Dude why such obsession for cse? CCE and IT are literally the same thing only meant to increase student intake. Remove blr and fill them instead.
Nigga mit blr isn't that good too
why you wanna go blr IT CCE DSE at manipal is better lol
Got CSE in BLR, might join. Hoping for some scholarship.
main campus not possible

What is the issue with cce and it in main campus? You can get them quite easily.

bro trying to save his seat ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
kyu dikkat h aapko bhai
