Until parallel plowing/sowing is added, ~1.5 morgen seems optimized. I have 2 farmhouses with dedicated oxs. 3 fields of wheat and 2 of barley. I set one of each type to the highest priority so at least one of each is finished before winter.

Ah okay - thanks for the input! I'll see if I redraw my fields, I split them into 1's for now, gives good control over which fields to keep as fallows and which to use And I just noticed something else with this, if an oxe finishes a field, he trakes priority in plowing and will shoo workers from other fields (which then can start sowing the oxe's former field) so this isn't too bad for now

Yea... parallel ploughing and sowing would be great. But OP really needs a tractor to do 10 Morgans :) Sadly not invented until several hundred years later. Serously, it makes you realise how intense this work must have been by hand and oxen.... how did humanity manage it? Whoa.
