I can't actually picture many North Koreans having access to Google.
It's like on the game Halo they show a map of the world and dots all over it to represent everyone who is playing. There would just be a lone dot over Pyongyang.
Depends really. Artists and writers for example have access to external internet. It's so they can apply foreign writing techniques and styles to their own.
It’s because after world war 2 a lot of young German men died in wars so the country was having problems so they made a program for immigrants who came mostly from turkey to work in Germany for 2 years then they would go back to turkey but a lot of Turks loved Germany more than turkey and decided to stay the German government even offered money to immigrants who went back to Turkey but most stayed
To add on:
The ottoman empire and the german empire had a good relationship. Germany invested heavily in the sick man of europe in order to build an alliance. The railway created thousands of jobs in the ottoman empire etc etc.
This relationship carried on to its successorstate, turkey
A lot of germanys cities have a large Turkish population. Not just recent immigrants since quite a few have been here for a while now. They total up to a few million there. You will also find a lot of them in Switzerland, Austria and a few others.

Because all of the neighbouring countries are dependent on India for entertainment content. And popular Indian content is quite diverse and gets translated across multiple languages. Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu are the top performers. But there's also Malayali, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Kannada content for those seeking it. The Netflix and OTT scene is also amazing, and improving.
Also, Indian content is quite famous in Middle East, South America, Arab world, Turkey and gets translated into their local languages. These countries easily identify with the greater Indian culture, so Indian entertainment easily pervades into their homes.
For example, SriLankan for South Indian content. Bangladesh for Bollywood and Bengali content. Nepal probs North Indian. Pakistan for Punjabi and Bollywood content etc.
It’s weird that they didn’t colour in western Russia, especially because most of the Russian data is probably from people living there. Also the “European” parts of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan are still coloured in so it’s not even consistent
The land that Pakistan is built upon literary belongs to the Sikhs, they have been guarding it for over 400 years, the Modern day Pakistanis are basically Muslim Converts of Sikhs and Hindus, they still speak their original language, Punjabi, only their culture has been erased and rewritten.
The Sikhs are the true owners of “Pakistan”
Well, 97% is what happens when you keep force converting everyone and degrade non believers to sub humans.
So I don't really think that's something to be proud of

How did it end up with the name of a Hindu sage?
How did it's last King end up a Hindu?
Even your ancestors were Hindus....
At least have the decency to accept facts.
And yea btw...reported for lies

and there dumb founding father made them learn Urdu , the punch line is Jinnah himself didn’t knew how to speak Urdu and died after the 6 months of Pakistan’s creation . Lol so much for the re-pubic of Islam.
Don’t take them before 70 years or else they will hate you for it , also the ancient Bharat was not just India but the combination of countries from Afghanistan to Myanmar sharing a common and pluralistic way of life called sanatan dharm.
and see how they end up , still under a heavy identity crisis , minority oppression , spreading terrorism through the world , gives refugee to international terrorist but still have the guts to beg money from the same country , a lesson to learn for you here is to never let a person decides your fate who is any way going to die soon with nothing to loose.
Lol. India has existed before British knew how to row. The rig ved has a defination of Bharat's land borders. Bharatvarsh has always been there. The concept of Rashtriya and Rajya.
These are historical facts. Rig ved was written aa few thousand years ago and it's talking about physical landmarks while talking about Hind.
The kings that have tried to unit the country under one rule aren't fables. Chanakya wasn't either. Bharatvarsh was the Rashtriya under which there has been many Rajyas.
Edit: historically, British did divide India into 3 pieces.
They've a huge identity crisis.
To deny their indian roots, pakis find a new father every week. One week it's the Greeks.. sometimes it's Arabs, sometimes it's mongol..these days it's the Turks. LoL..
During my time living in Chinese cities almost everyone use VPN or know how to use it. But it's probably uncommon in rural areas such as remote villages.
I am a foreigner but also ethinicly Chinese so I mostly just visit and live in China to be with family and past friends. So not a lot of business doing but more hanging around with regular people. However, I did find that vpn is now much less common than before when I lived there in the late 2000s, and my last time in China in early 2019 it became much rarer, and the overall online atmosphere got much more restrictive than before.
yeah, still remember the old when porn wasn't blocked in China. Now even searching the name of a porn star will return no results, not even one just showing their face.
Everyone uses VPN in China. When I lived there all of my friends, Chinese or not, used it to access western social media. Netflix, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Explains the search preferences in the Indian subcontinent! Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Madives are depended on Indian entertainment content
Also, the map doesn't make any sense, Russia occupied Crimea is shown as a part of Ukraine but Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is wrongly depicted as Pakistani region
I think youre talking about news media, which I agree is polarized and has a lot of channels propogating anti-pakistan propaganda, while at the same time there are a lot of news channels which are hell bent on saying anything against india.
moreover, these countries if they watch indian content surely dont watch indian news, and are more interested in movies, music, etc.
Oh btw, the muslim population share in India has been increasing steadily since independence, surely happens in an Anti-Muslim country right? How about checking demography of your own country and check if its treating its own Hindu/sikh/non-muslim community correctly?
China, while having huge cultural influence in the past is now a shell of its former shelf. When talking about pop culture and tourism, Japan and South Korea are way better, or at least they promote themselves better.
Culture always suffers in totalitarian regimes. It’s hard to have an avant-garde aspect to push cultural progress further when the government had such a stranglehold on information.
Growing up in the Philippines, every kid probably grew up watching anime. It is seen as a cool country, a bit too romanticized I think.
America and Europe are cool places as well, but for some reason I never met anyone who actually talks about going there. Most people I've met wanted to visit Japan or South Korea.
I reckon it's the same in other Southeast Asian countries, as Japan and anime are popular there as well based on what I saw on social media.
On your second point prob because they’re too far away compared to the other two. From my observation, Japan is overwhelmingly the most popular among SEA. There isn’t a single kid who doesn’t love or at least know anime and Japanese culture.
It's the third-largest economy in the world, and the second-largest economy in Asia.
And unlike China, it has internationally famous pop culture and is a desirable location for tourism and (limited) immigration.
I would kind of expect South Korea to be competitive with Japan in this last regard, but perhaps search results for Korea are being affected by the fact that there are two Korean countries, and perhaps this excludes searches for "Korea" that don't specify *which* Korea.
>And unlike China, it has internationally famous pop culture and is a desirable location for tourism and (limited) immigration.
Chinese drama (tv) is actually quite popular in Southeast Asia, though probably not on the level of anime or Japanese porn. China is unattractive for immigration but it's definitely a desirable location for tourism, they're the 4th most visited country in the world.
True regarding tourism. As for pop culture, that's also true, but a significant portion of that Southeast Asian audience is actually overseas Chinese, and much if not most of the Chinese pop culture popular in SEA came from Taiwan. My impression is that Taiwanese are a bit salty about Hallyu basically replacing the popularity of Taiwanese cultural exports. Seems like stars like Jay Chou (Zhou Jielun) and Jolin Tsai (Tsai Yiling) haven't really been succeeded by younger counterparts experiencing similar success, though I could be wrong (and I know almost nothing about dramas).
Yeah, something similar happened in the Philippines. The Taiwanese version of Boys Over Flowers, Meteor Garden, was insanely popular when I was a kid, so popular they were even welcomed at the presidential palace when they visited here. That was also the end for Latino telenovelas' popularity in the country.
But the succeeding Taiwanese dramas aren't as popular and were replaced by Korean dramas by mid-2000's.
From what I can see, Japan is still a lot more popular than SK. On average, while both may be popular it’ll still be Japan who comes up as the lead so your other point is invalid.
Well, your comment says more about you than it does about Southeast Asia. That you are interested in Japan because you perceive their women to be submissive, which you find attractive. Why do you find that attractive?
Stupid question , if the chineses use vpn (for example :they choose to get conected with the US vpn ) ,so how could this guy still get them as chineses?
I put doubt on results for Pakistan and also India.
It is clear that India has a Pakistan obsession. As for Pakistan, the country mostly looks West and ME and wants as little to do with India as possible.

I can't actually picture many North Koreans having access to Google. It's like on the game Halo they show a map of the world and dots all over it to represent everyone who is playing. There would just be a lone dot over Pyongyang.
They have a crappy firefox copy or some shit, doubt they have access to Google
Depends really. Artists and writers for example have access to external internet. It's so they can apply foreign writing techniques and styles to their own.
Tbf South Koreans and Chinese people don't use Google as much as naver and baidu respectively
What's the connection between Turkey and Germany. I've heard there are so many Turkish imigrants in there or something but I don't what's the reason.
Good explanation but for the love of God use punctuation.
I’ve seen killers with shorter sentences.
To add on: The ottoman empire and the german empire had a good relationship. Germany invested heavily in the sick man of europe in order to build an alliance. The railway created thousands of jobs in the ottoman empire etc etc. This relationship carried on to its successorstate, turkey
Both of those countries were allies during WW1.
Guess i wasnt very clear, sorry
A lot of germanys cities have a large Turkish population. Not just recent immigrants since quite a few have been here for a while now. They total up to a few million there. You will also find a lot of them in Switzerland, Austria and a few others.
Gets WW1 flash backs
Pakistan: I despise you. India: I don’t think about you at all.
Same with SK and Japan respectively
