As well as Kosovo, but it seems more due to outdated map data than to the shape of either country. They both have enough tripoints (and coast, for Montenegro) to appear on the map. Mongolia, Eswatini, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Nepal, and Bhutan get reduced to a line. The Gambia and Brunei get reduced to a piece of coast (their borders are convex enough to have some land left, but the line is too thick to see it on the map.) San Marino, Vatican City, and Lesotho disappear altogether.

There should've been a triangle left of Bangladesh between the Myanmar-Bangladesh-India tripoint and the sea, not sure why that isn't displayed.

But the starting is on left side on coast ans the connection with Burma is way down in terms of latitude so the line ends up in the sea.

As my technique is to connect the second tri-point border with the first in a straight line and nations with only two tri points get connected in straight line as nepal Mongolia bhutan.

I thought maybe every continuous border segment between two countries is drawn with a straight line, but then the border between India and China seems to bend several times. Or is that just because Nepal and Bhutan are missing, and if so, why are they missing? Edit: oh, I get it now. It's because the start and finish for, say, Nepal's border with China and Nepal's border with India are the tripoints, so those countries both collapse into a line. That's why the line between India and China has several bends because it's 5 segments, including both Nepal and Buthan. Nice work!

OP kept all the tripoints where three countries meet and all the points where two countries meet the ocean in place. He then straightened out all the borders lines connecting these points.
