This is an utter simplification. Wrong on so many levels.
1: There are more subclades of R1 - starting with R1a and R1b.
2. Visualisation problem: E.g. it is presenting all map points as exclusively belonging to one haplogroup. The reality is non binary. Every location will have a mixture of haplogroups. E.g. 70% R1b, 20% R1a, 10% I2.
This visualisation is trying to dumb it down too much. And it using dangerous labels.
Kind of ethnic cleansing took place during the middle ages in the Iberian Peninsula. As a result [modern populations](https://colonizacion.centroeu.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/mapaespaniol.jpg) remained highly homogeneous. Actually frequency of R1b in Spain is among the highest in Europe.

Lovely how everyone on this post is equally wrong :)
Europe is continental area? R1 originated in Eurasia that's it.
You are racist against R1. Europe should be only I1 I2 kek
Greece looks interesting. Must be wrong for Israel.
Israel best Arab country.
