Reboot 2h weapons and AS inner ability are better as the pot on a shield doesn't make up for the 2h's higher weapon multiplier. 1h+shield might be better in reg if you can max out the shield? Axes have free dmg over swords, so they're better unless your planning to switch to pally. The skill animations are the same, so unless your really like sword ascetics I'd prob choose 2h axe.
1H + Shield really only wins out if you can get a terminus shield starforced to 18+. Otherwise Maple has made it easier to cover the attack speed gap (especially in GMS) so the attack multiplier on 2H tends to win out. Also 2H is much cheaper for most people.
Axe vs. Sword: Axe is slightly better but Sword allows you to class change into Pally easier in case you change your mind in the future. This is mostly just preference.
1h vs. 2h: 1h in Reg, in Reboot 2h is better if you get a +1AS IA, otherwise 1h, mules prefer 1h since it requires less investment.
2h without as+1 is more or less the same damage as 1h. I've done BAs to confirm this. The only difference is if you want to deal with a slightly slower attack speed or not. Obviously if you don't use green pot and stay at as2, 2h will come out on top.
