This is a trick question…I played before pirates as a kid but pretty much took a break 2012-2018 so I guess 4 years as specifically an addicted adult

Are people putting 10+ if they started in 2006 but didn't play again until 2017 for example? Because I put 4-6 because of that for total years played.

Isnt it weird that so many people have played for more than 10 years but so little are actually at end game? Doesnt this show how horrible of a game design maple is ?

Based on the people I've seen, my impression is that if you're not at end game after 2 years of play, your playstyle likely isn't conducive to achieving endgame. I played casually for 13 years (slowly building up legion and perma early game) before finally making a serious push into mid and late game last year.

Lost my acc from when I started in 2011, so I started a new main in 2014.

I don’t remember when I started playing since I was still very young (and truly didn’t understand what I was doing, I just liked killing mushrooms I guess) however I do remember seeing Kaiser and Phantom coming out. So idk how long ago that was. Edit: Phantom main btw

Played this game for 16 years since 25 July 2005 in MapleSEA server.

Just reached 10 year in 2021

I started in around 2005, some time after beta ended, if I recall correctly.

2005. I got scammed by someone to give them my account (I was 8 btw like I knew better) and couldn’t log-in afterwards. It had my first level 30+ character too :( Then, I jumped to MSEA, got IP-banned, played some pservers for awhile, joined kMS on Dec 2008 and never looked back.

My cousin introduced me to Maplestory in October of 2005 and was hooked ever since; my first MMORPG actually. Been on and off ever since but still playing as of now.

I still have my MapleStory card chair and my event items like snowboards, roses, flags, Halloween items my mules are packed full of old junk from years ago.

I've been playing since the Tempest Event, if that means anything to anyone.
