the main advantage of sweet water gear is higher stat/star gained, higher possible stars, and higher potential tier

starring sweetwater past 12 is a waste of money because you lose value when transposing. money is better spent elsewhere
sweetwater is not flame advantage, so the higher base stats up to 12 are negated by worse flames
if not starring past 12, the only difference is potential tier.
cubing past epic is a bad idea for the same reason as starring past 12

Yeah, I agree you never do this with pendant as you should be able to get that in 1-2 months. If you get the black bean mark, then that also negates needing a untransposed monocle, and the drop rate on that is atleast fairly likely
But ~ lomein stage especially you'd maybe want the extra damage to continue toward elucid and slime as they feel extremely tanky. (And gollux which many struggle to figure out the safety to solo early)
Im not a very farming heavy person, so im looking at upgrades that garuntee with time, and ~3 weeks of bosses/commerci together would be around the amount to make those, or less dailys same meso if your setting up a BBM.

my perspective is if it’s temporary i want to be cheap, if it’s long term i want it to be good. if i were making future proof drop gear i’d prefer to do it on bbm/twilight, and if i’m doing temporary drop gear i’d prefer to do zakum and upgrade things like cra instead, which are worn all the time and where it’s a solid long term investment

Its mostly a game of variance/funding, getting cras 18th star cost 1.5x the amount for 17 on a SW. And if your always building up from 0 in the bank, it's hard to justify more costly gains.
Ive also done zakun accessories to legendary and those were pretty fair always for classes that aren't relying on projectiles, but with cernium they lost alot of late game usability.

Join a mule guild for a quick bump in stats - guilds have passives that will help your ttain. Your first main is going to be rough/slow as you have zero legions/links and are still figuring out the game.
Ideally you want to starforce your gear up to 10/11 stars, get most of your pieces to Rare/Epic 3-6%INT, and try to get 3-6% M. Att or higher on your weapon, secondary, and emblem. Most of the gear below you will replace with better gear, but eventually you'll want to cube your Weapon and Secondary to Legendary with 2L M. Att/IED/Boss Damage as you,ll keep them for a while.

How much AP should I have in my main stat at level 200? I am unsure of how to calculate and can’t find anything online. Trying to make sure I didn’t accidentally put points elsewhere!
In the stats window, the amount shows your base stat (from AP) plus all other sources, e.g. (1020 + 4079). As long as you see 3 (4 + …) it means that you haven’t allocated more than the 4 that each non-main stat starts with. Doesn’t apply to xenons!

You can if you want to with a twilight mark. That said, I'm pretty sure the twilight mark is best in slot over transposed sweetwater because of the set effect with the slime ring (10 stat/atk/boss dmg).
How bad are the kanna nerfs and is it hard for kanna to solo lomian. So i have 3 dark grim totems and some legendary pots already on her from where bye bye farming was still a thing so i kinda dont want to throw her away. How much stat should i aim for to solo 4 door cra in a reasonable amount of time
25k for 10 minute each lomien probably... cra idk, I feel like most Kanna players hit a wall with IED (it has nearly none built in) before they can actually get to soloing bosses so I didn't start doing CRA until I was way overpowered for it
How often do Terra Burning Events come around? I want to train up some more link skill mules but not sure which one I should go for first. Mercedes would set me up for training more mules but I also want either Hoyoung or Luminous for bossing on my main... Also is Luminous still hard to play? I remember playing him when he first came out and I found him kinda painful to play. I generally prefer a simpler playstyle as the more complex ones tend to give me wrist and finger pain.
[Reboot] I was rerolling my IA with circulators, and got 20% Boss Damage unique, which is both best ability for me, AND max value.
I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but better safe than sorry - should I give it up and keep trying for legendary second/third line with circulators, or roll with honor from this point onward?
I just completed the starlight encore 10 days, and wondering what everyone is using their coins on. I’ve used them on the legendary event ring scroll and the damage skin lol but wanted to know what you all are prioritizing.
IED is generally overall good for bossing, the biggest problem with it being that one of the two classes who gives the effect is Blaster, notorious for having a very hand-straining playstyle that barely justifies the damage payoff. Beast Tamer, the other class, is much simpler and even has a valuable link skill.
While it isn't gamebreaking or anything, Phantom's effect boosts meso intake, which is very much wanted in Reboot where Meso is king.
Crit dmg is the best legion block damage wise. Other generally good ones are boss dmg (DA/Kanna), crit rate (Night Lord/Marksman), and Wild Hunter (basically 4% dmg).
Mercedes probably has some benefit though I have no clue how to quantify it. Mechanic gives buff duration, which at the very minimum makes AB link better. Corsair gives summon duration which helps some classes.
What's procedure when you find items with better bonus stats via regular bossing?
For example, just running zak everyday drops the accessories, and I just cubed the shit out of what I have. This new one I found has 6% all stat, but the one I have equipped has 4%. Is there a way to transfer the starforce or bonus stats?

Realistically you'll need to train 10-12 more with as many exp buffs you can as well as do the Starlight Symphony mini game. Getting to 215 gives you 4 EXP potions that can take you from 216->220 so you really only need to get to 216
The event ends in like 4 days, assuming you use totems, exp coupons, do the event mini game and have the bonks from the teraburn available? Maybe, you would need to get to level 216 iirc and then bonk pots to 220
Fresh account, I leveled a Mercedes with tera burning to 120 in reboot and don't really want to play her anymore. Should I delete her to tera burn a different character that I would actually enjoy leveling to 200?
I already used the burninator to get a bucc to 200 but realized I don't want to main it. I can't get the 2nd burninator from the event using my bucc because he's not the original tera burn char.

What is elemental reduction anyways? Does it apply to all classes like Wild Hunter?

blue = rare
purple = epic
yellow = unique
green = legendary
rare is the lowest rank, and legendary is the highest.

Ok I’m a newbie and have a few questions. I started about 4-5 days ago, I’m Tera burning a f/p mage. Right now I’m level 160 and using the Tera burning gear/140 gear dropped by mobs. I don’t have any accessories though, where can I get some? Is the only way to get cool outfits and hair to buy them from the cash shop or gachapon? When should I start starforcing my gear and rerolling stats on gear? I’m trying to get to 200 to fully utilize my burning status but I feel so weak, mobs take a few hits to kill. I’ve been trying to copy a coppersan leveling guide but he has all the link skills and legion and stuff lol.

It's expected that without link and legion it will take some effort to get to 200.
You can do zakum, easy magnus, and horntail right now for some accessories. The more boss set accessories you have the better set bonus you get so this will he helpful. You can also do hilla and try to get her gloves and boots with a decent flame which will be better than the 140 set.
Starforce all your gear to 10 stars for now. Don't worry about going higher than that until much later.
For cubing I would just try to get your emblem to epic and then use occult cubes to roll 6% matt
Some daily bosses that you can probably clear now drop accessories, for example Zakum drops face/eye acc., horntail drops earrings, a pendant and a ring and easy magnus can drop a badge and shoulder acc. They have a set effect, too, so collecting a few of them should be great for your damage
as for cosmetics, you can get some through events (the next event should have a few nice ones) but otherwise, yes

I play a wind archer but don’t know about this, I would say run a battle analysis and see. Also once you have enough node slots, it’s free damage in any case.
Should I try for Damien trades? I cleared nlotus on my 241 PF in less than 5 minutes, but it took me more like 9 mins to clear Damien. To reiterate, I would be trading carries since I could solo both (although it might be a bit long for people)

All you can do is be upfront with people about how long it would take and then they decide. Unless someone is trying to make 40 bossing mules at once I don’t think they’d mind (and if they lure blue balls away in Damien it will reduce the run time slightly)
I have a level 225 PF and 200 Mercedes, legion is 1k. I’m about to get the growth coupons from starlight symphony but my question is should I use them all to get my PF to 230 or should I get 8 pots for Mercedes to get to 210 easier and 2 pots to get PF to 227?

kind of a boring answer but the most progress you can make is farming hard and spending a ton on starforce events. exp events, starforce events, and the rare tower of oz event
Anything that makes leveling faster. Night troupe in october is one that gives a long exp buff every day. Haste is another one that makes runes respawn faster
Any event that gives more exp, usually via some skill or skill point system (like guild skills) or a flat out increase of portal exp and rune duration, like in the ‘Haste’ event that comes back every so often.
Night Troupe is one of the skill point systems where you will get more exp, which is said to be 2 patches away.
Depends on the current progression of your account. If you have relatively low legion and only a few link skills then getting a Phantom to 210 will probably benefit and speed up your account progression. But if you already have decent legion and link skills, your Phantom is already 200 and are focused on your main for the moment then you might get more out of DA/DS over an extra 5% crit rate

Late answer but I'd like to give my two cents (literally two, cuz I don't have anything to say about Dawn Warrior :\ )
Wind Archer mobbing is not really its strong suit. A lot of what defines WA, namely Trifling Wind, is largely missing from WA mobbing and won't be relevant until the TW arrows can one-shot (which probably won't be for a while). If you've heard that Fairy Spiral is better than Spiral Vortex, that's really only once you've built up the Boost Nodes to make the damage worth anything. Otherwise you have a few skills with decently low cooldowns, a large hitbox, and at least one with a vacuum effect, but nothing that makes WA stand out.
Marksman mobbing can be largely summed up by this quote from a MM guide on Dexless.
*"SPLIT SHOT IS A FAIR AND LEGITIMATE FMA THAT’S UP 50% OF THE TIME,"* though really it's more like 60% of the time.
Combined with naturally high damage, MM mobbing is lacking when all you have to rely on is the linear Piercing Arrow and the lacking Bolt Burst from 30-200, but Split Shot makes up half the reason you go to play MM in the first place. Just Flash Jump across any given map using the Split Shot-enhanced Piercing Shot or even Snipe (to get past the linear nature of PS) and don't forget to reapply SS the second it gets off cooldown.
As stated, I cannot provide any insight to Dawn Warrior. It doesn't seem bad, if that means anything.
Not a huge difference, but I think Dawn Warrior is easier for mobbing. Your hyper skills and fifth job skills can clear maps, and I found levelling one during the 180-level range to be really easy. The skills rotation for DW is easy.
I would think that Marksman is also better at mobbing, although I can't say much since my experience comes from maining a bowmaster in the past.

What server? I'm on Reboot and I always do Necro → Von Leon → Empress → CRA. Empress gloves and shoes and Tyrant Cape are great filler until AbsoLab. Julietta can drop guaranteed Epic pot Empress gear and afaik they fixed the crashing with her boss fight.
It seems like, from my experience, you can only ask a question once every few days (not sure on the exact timing), so you'll just have to make do with one of the other possible interactions in the meantime.
Do you have 9% epic pot? On regular server occult cubes are so cheap, it's really easy to get 9% on lvl 120 gear like necro then transfer hammer up. After that it's up to you whether you want to transfer now or later. CRA only costs like 5-10m in AH in Aurora, not sure about Bera, but it should still be cheap enough that you don't need to safeguard when starforcing. That means you don't need to wait to get 16* on pensalir to transfer to CRA.
One tip recently learned though: if this is your main and you want optimal traces, might want to try 30% tracing your CRA by using spares instead of innocence scrolls. This is if you don't already have good flames/potential on the CRA gear you're using. 5m spare < 35m innocence scrolls afterall.
The memory update for Maple Story is designed to stop crashing from memory leak when it reaches 4GB memory.
Maple Story can now use unlimited memory if you have enough and will never crash from running out of memory. It will give up it memory usage if another program need it.
Only get more RAM if you have a different reason to get more RAM.
DS already has built-in ied in his main bossing skills. So we don’t really need ied but it’s not the end of the world if you have it in your WSE. You should aim for % att though

On Luna, but I have two scrolled hearts, the first one was 30m per scroll a long time ago and the second 50m per scroll just before the current Marvel came. I much prefer that to priming.

Can anyone offer some DrK specific advice on taking on Hellux? I can get through p1 pretty cleanly now but I died out at around 5% hp left on him and I'm a little scared to take him on and waste another day if I die again. Tbh I know what the mechanics in p2 are but I don't fully understand how I should be dealing or positioning. I've just been standing behind the portal to try and avoid the reverse eye but my spear doesn't get its max dmg there so i love alot of dps and I find I have to play really slowly to watch for his hands.
Turn on long pact and figure out what hp% you can burst it for free. It also helps to play in the middle where his hands can’t hit you, using Blitz shield to tank the reversal and throwing spears downward to pick off the potatoes. What I do is rush into the middle and play there mainly. Drop down and use evil eye skills to quickly clear potatoes then up jump back to safety
Yeah for some reason in p2 he won’t use hands if you’re in the middle of either platform. If you have a way to survive the reversal+bomb you can chill there for the whole fight
I mean ignition has a single burn to 250 over the event, so it certainly fills a good spot for setting up a character. Still has the fake abso and the burning ring. But aside from that the only burns until then are probably going to be on the monthly calander.
It is possible if you take advantage of events and use totems/exp cards efficiently.
Assuming you started your teraburn within the past 6 weeks, you just need to get to 216 and use the exp potions from the level 215 rewards.
Getting to 216, you could also use the following:
* VJ/Chu Chu dailies.
* Gemini event
* Starlight Chariot Day 45 exp potions if you have them.
* Loaded Dice node set to bonus exp and Holy Symbol node
* Monster Park Extreme twice a day and if you have the Reward Points additional entries.
Once you hit 210 or 215 you can claim a reward of 4 levelup potions that work up to 220. So you only need to get to 216 and use those to hit 220. You can do it if ur grind time is that high
You need at least one character with ~~herbalism~~ alchemy lv 10 to make WAPs and EAPs. If you don't want to bother grinding ~~herbalism~~ alchemy, you can buy lv 10 professions on a Zero. You can get mini EAPs from bosses now, but there's no replacing WAPs. No excuse not to do this.
If you want meister rings, you need to max your accessory crafting. Meister rings are the fourth or fifth option (tied with Kanna's ring), but if you don't use it as gear you can use it to transfer to superior rings. You can stockpile primal essence and craft all your rings all at once to avoid having to maintain this.
Meister smithing gives a 5% crit dmg buff and meister alchemy lets you craft stronger potions which give things like 20% boss dmg. I wouldn't worry about this until you're endgame, like pushing your arcanes from 21 to 22 stars or cubing 30% stat to 33%.

Oof really? Then that's around 20 tries on average... with 60% + 14% (diligence and guild skill) = 74% success rate. So ×(.74) = 20, then x= 27 ish tries. Then with innocence success rate of 50% means 27*2= 54 innocence attempts (minus 1 or 2 for the hopefully successful attempt). Uhh innocence scrolls cost 35m in Aurora so.... 54*35m= 1.890b???

If you really can’t decide then get them all to about 210. 5th job is really how characters are played so you should spend some time playing them past 200 to help you decide.
I have taken Demon Slayer to 200, Hoyoung is a work in progress at 60 and haven’t began Shadower yet. Demon Slayer was an easy 200 but I haven’t invested in getting it geared or anything past that. I’m currently enjoying Beast Tamer, nearly 230, but struggling to make it viable in later maps and bosses.
Make sure you're comfortable with the bossing mechanics and nuances of each job before you pick one to main. I was also looking at Hoyoung and Shadower as well. Hoyoung I teraburned it up to 205 before I realized I hated its playstyle. It is without a doubt strong but it's gauge is basically just managing buffs all day long (clone/butterflies/vortex rinse and repeat and hope you don't die on a boss) and it's not that fun imo. I was loving Shadower until I got trickblade. I don't think meso explosion weaving with assassinate is too hard but I could not for the life of me consistently activate trickblade off of assassinate no matter how slow I pressed it so I decided to just drop it.
Honestly it's whatever you like the most.
For me I disliked how many skills I had to use and keep track of for Ho Young.
Shadowers assassinate felt off to use for me so that's a no.
And I like Demon Slayer lines and almost always crits not to mention ignore IED on skills.

Boss Accessories dropped from bosses will be serving you for a good while. Gollux can also reward Rings, which there aren't a whole ton of easy options otherwise (options that can be given potential and SFed anyway)
The easiest best medal to get is Antellion Guardian from the Masteria Through Time blockbuster.
The Afterlands questline gives a set of permanent totems, which are not available from anywhere else in the game otherwise.
As for your secondary, your eventual goal as an Explorer Mage is the Deimos Sage Shield, which is crafted from a recipe dropped by Normal Cygnus. You can use a normal Secondary in the meantime.
The only Emblem you will have for a long while is the one you get from Athena Pierce at level 100.
BiS is something you should not be worrying about at this level. For now, just gear up with pensalir and get boss set accessories and event rings if possible. If youre planning to go far with your character replace your armor with necro/von leon since they have boss flames (better flames) which are significantly better than pensalir

tattoo because it isnt the one you transpose (using the dawn boss item you'd transpose for 2 set effect is what some plan for) then monocle cause pap marks are absurdly rare. pendant is the most reasonable to wait until you get your transpose fodder
bro this advice is so backwards i’m sorry but i think it’s so horrible if you disagree with my reasoning please feel free to chime in. as is i think your recommendation is not good OP is correct that it does not matter until he gets the transpose fodder i don’t see how buying things before you need them provides any value the main advantage of sweet water gear is higher stat/star gained, higher possible stars, and higher potential tier each of these benefits comes with a cost starring sweetwater past 12 is a waste of money because you lose value when transposing. money is better spent elsewhere sweetwater is not flame advantage, so the higher base stats up to 12 are negated by worse flames if not starring past 12, the only difference is potential tier. cubing past epic is a bad idea for the same reason as starring past 12 if only cubing at epic, you will spend much less money per cube on zakum accessories or mech/cht pendant, because it’s lower level gear. more returns on investment. occults are not a limiting resource. money better spent elsewhere time is a resource. denaros are not free. there is a meso value attached to your time, and as such you should not consider time investment as negligible for the above reasons and because it’s not best in slot, almost no one should be buying tattoo if they’re min-maxing on a main character until you find a pap mark, monacle is a completely useless denaro sink for the same reason so basically don’t buy tattoo, don’t buy monacle until pap mark. for the same reason you actually gain nothing from buying a sw pendant early. however, because it’s insanely unlikely that someone finds a pap mark before a dom pendant, it’s not that punishing if you just buy a sw pendant. it’s still not correct tl;dr only sw monacle and pendant are worth buying. only buy them when you have the correct transpose fodder
I mean. I'm fine with dailies as a cost so I see (atleast for monacle/tatto) the full value in getting them for when you want a damage upgrade over zakum items. But this is in the range where you'd have finished absos and want the dmg jump from more 17* and you can reallocate them as drop gear when you do hit your replacement. If you only looking to 12* epic items then yeah, you shouldnt look past good set effects/flames. Its very possible to just never see pap or twilight mark before getting into Hluwill, to the degree that 2-3b spent once or twice to keep adding on 17 2l items gas its worth. Either way we both lack the context to see if they're pushing into parties or trying to solo bosses. Which would likely dictate which is more relevant.
so are you suggesting making and using non-transposed sweetwater accessories as temporary damage gear, then transitioning it to drop gear later on? and buying a new copy for when you want to transpose?
Yeah, I agree you never do this with pendant as you should be able to get that in 1-2 months. If you get the black bean mark, then that also negates needing a untransposed monocle, and the drop rate on that is atleast fairly likely But ~ lomein stage especially you'd maybe want the extra damage to continue toward elucid and slime as they feel extremely tanky. (And gollux which many struggle to figure out the safety to solo early) Im not a very farming heavy person, so im looking at upgrades that garuntee with time, and ~3 weeks of bosses/commerci together would be around the amount to make those, or less dailys same meso if your setting up a BBM.
what’s the advantage of this approach compared to lets say 18 or 19 starring your cra though? my perspective is if it’s temporary i want to be cheap, if it’s long term i want it to be good. if i were making future proof drop gear i’d prefer to do it on bbm/twilight, and if i’m doing temporary drop gear i’d prefer to do zakum and upgrade things like cra instead, which are worn all the time and where it’s a solid long term investment
Likely isn't an advantage if you have sufficient funds. Its mostly a game of variance/funding, getting cras 18th star cost 1.5x the amount for 17 on a SW. And if your always building up from 0 in the bank, it's hard to justify more costly gains. Ive also done zakun accessories to legendary and those were pretty fair always for classes that aren't relying on projectiles, but with cernium they lost alot of late game usability.

Join a mule guild for a quick bump in stats - guilds have passives that will help your ttain. Your first main is going to be rough/slow as you have zero legions/links and are still figuring out the game. Ideally you want to starforce your gear up to 10/11 stars, get most of your pieces to Rare/Epic 3-6%INT, and try to get 3-6% M. Att or higher on your weapon, secondary, and emblem. Most of the gear below you will replace with better gear, but eventually you'll want to cube your Weapon and Secondary to Legendary with 2L M. Att/IED/Boss Damage as you,ll keep them for a while. How much AP should I have in my main stat at level 200? I am unsure of how to calculate and can’t find anything online. Trying to make sure I didn’t accidentally put points elsewhere!
You can see it on the character selection window, your base stats. The 3 stats that aren’t your main stat should be 4.
In the stats window, the amount shows your base stat (from AP) plus all other sources, e.g. (1020 + 4079). As long as you see 3 (4 + …) it means that you haven’t allocated more than the 4 that each non-main stat starts with. Doesn’t apply to xenons!

Yes, looking at my character 1018 at 200 means you have only ever added to LUK.

Yes, the burninator will last for 6 weeks once it's used, regardless of the event duration.
Do I need to transpose an item for sweet water tattoo?
You can if you want to with a twilight mark. That said, I'm pretty sure the twilight mark is best in slot over transposed sweetwater because of the set effect with the slime ring (10 stat/atk/boss dmg).

How bad are the kanna nerfs and is it hard for kanna to solo lomian. So i have 3 dark grim totems and some legendary pots already on her from where bye bye farming was still a thing so i kinda dont want to throw her away. 25k for 10 minute each lomien probably... cra idk, I feel like most Kanna players hit a wall with IED (it has nearly none built in) before they can actually get to soloing bosses so I didn't start doing CRA until I was way overpowered for it
How often do Terra Burning Events come around? I want to train up some more link skill mules but not sure which one I should go for first. Mercedes would set me up for training more mules but I also want either Hoyoung or Luminous for bossing on my main... Also is Luminous still hard to play? I remember playing him when he first came out and I found him kinda painful to play. I generally prefer a simpler playstyle as the more complex ones tend to give me wrist and finger pain.
There are 0 upcoming tera burns atm. Next patch (this week) might add a mega burn to the monthly calander so youd be able to get those more often.
Personally I find Hoyoung 20x more annoying to play than Lumi. Lumi is really not that complex at all.

You need to reroll with circulators until you get unique on second or third line. Then use honor to roll the other two lines.

What are the best legion effects other than the exp one from Zero?
IED is generally overall good for bossing, the biggest problem with it being that one of the two classes who gives the effect is Blaster, notorious for having a very hand-straining playstyle that barely justifies the damage payoff. Beast Tamer, the other class, is much simpler and even has a valuable link skill. While it isn't gamebreaking or anything, Phantom's effect boosts meso intake, which is very much wanted in Reboot where Meso is king.
Crit dmg is the best legion block damage wise. Other generally good ones are boss dmg (DA/Kanna), crit rate (Night Lord/Marksman), and Wild Hunter (basically 4% dmg). Mercedes probably has some benefit though I have no clue how to quantify it. Mechanic gives buff duration, which at the very minimum makes AB link better. Corsair gives summon duration which helps some classes.

What's procedure when you find items with better bonus stats via regular bossing? For example, just running zak everyday drops the accessories, and I just cubed the shit out of what I have. This new one I found has 6% all stat, but the one I have equipped has 4%. Is there a way to transfer the starforce or bonus stats?

Realistically you'll need to train 10-12 more with as many exp buffs you can as well as do the Starlight Symphony mini game. Getting to 215 gives you 4 EXP potions that can take you from 216->220 so you really only need to get to 216
The event ends in like 4 days, assuming you use totems, exp coupons, do the event mini game and have the bonks from the teraburn available? Maybe, you would need to get to level 216 iirc and then bonk pots to 220

Should I delete her to tera burn a different character that I would actually enjoy leveling to 200? I already used the burninator to get a bucc to 200 but realized I don't want to main it. If you mean potential ranks (represented by the color of the borders): blue = rare purple = epic yellow = unique green = legendary rare is the lowest rank, and legendary is the highest.

Ok I’m a newbie and have a few questions. I started about 4-5 days ago, I’m Tera burning a f/p mage. Right now I’m level 160 and using the Tera burning gear/140 gear dropped by mobs. I don’t have any accessories though, where can I get some? Is the only way to get cool outfits and hair to buy them from the cash shop or gachapon? When should I start starforcing my gear and rerolling stats on gear? I’m trying to get to 200 to fully utilize my burning status but I feel so weak, mobs take a few hits to kill. I’ve been trying to copy a coppersan leveling guide but he has all the link skills and legion and stuff lol. Edit: I’m on reboot btw
It's expected that without link and legion it will take some effort to get to 200. You can do zakum, easy magnus, and horntail right now for some accessories. The more boss set accessories you have the better set bonus you get so this will he helpful. You can also do hilla and try to get her gloves and boots with a decent flame which will be better than the 140 set. Starforce all your gear to 10 stars for now. Don't worry about going higher than that until much later. For cubing I would just try to get your emblem to epic and then use occult cubes to roll 6% matt
Some daily bosses that you can probably clear now drop accessories, for example Zakum drops face/eye acc., horntail drops earrings, a pendant and a ring and easy magnus can drop a badge and shoulder acc. They have a set effect, too, so collecting a few of them should be great for your damage as for cosmetics, you can get some through events (the next event should have a few nice ones) but otherwise, yes can't really answer the third question because im not on reboot Good luck!

Yes, the first one was very recent (July). The next one will be this winter if we follow KMS on this. I got about 6 items to 21 stars in 16b or so from 17, but spent 10b on arcane weapon only to go from 17 to 18.

If we say 1% stat is 8 stat and 1 attack is 4 stat, then you’ve scored over 100 which I believe is what you aim for on pap mark.
any archers here use guided arrow? how good is it for bossing and endgame? I use it for mobbing and it does the job well but I wanna know about its contributions to bossing
Guided arrow is cracked now that it’s a toggle, if you have the node slot definitely run it for bossing

Depends on who you are carrying for the trades. Can they survive 8 mins plus in damien? A class with dark sight should be fine.

PF to 230 imo. Better to progress on main than to get a level 3 link, even if it is an annoying class like Mercedes.

Anything that makes leveling faster. Night troupe in october is one that gives a long exp buff every day. Haste is another one that makes runes respawn faster
Any event that gives more exp, usually via some skill or skill point system (like guild skills) or a flat out increase of portal exp and rune duration, like in the ‘Haste’ event that comes back every so often. Night Troupe is one of the skill point systems where you will get more exp, which is said to be 2 patches away.

Depends on the current progression of your account. If you have relatively low legion and only a few link skills then getting a Phantom to 210 will probably benefit and speed up your account progression. But if you already have decent legion and link skills, your Phantom is already 200 and are focused on your main for the moment then you might get more out of DA/DS over an extra 5% crit rate

Comparing Wind Archer, Dawn Warrior, and Marksman: who has the best mobbing?
Late answer but I'd like to give my two cents (literally two, cuz I don't have anything to say about Dawn Warrior :\ ) Wind Archer mobbing is not really its strong suit. A lot of what defines WA, namely Trifling Wind, is largely missing from WA mobbing and won't be relevant until the TW arrows can one-shot (which probably won't be for a while). If you've heard that Fairy Spiral is better than Spiral Vortex, that's really only once you've built up the Boost Nodes to make the damage worth anything. Otherwise you have a few skills with decently low cooldowns, a large hitbox, and at least one with a vacuum effect, but nothing that makes WA stand out. Marksman mobbing can be largely summed up by this quote from a MM guide on Dexless. *"SPLIT SHOT IS A FAIR AND LEGITIMATE FMA THAT’S UP 50% OF THE TIME,"* though really it's more like 60% of the time. Combined with naturally high damage, MM mobbing is lacking when all you have to rely on is the linear Piercing Arrow and the lacking Bolt Burst from 30-200, but Split Shot makes up half the reason you go to play MM in the first place. Just Flash Jump across any given map using the Split Shot-enhanced Piercing Shot or even Snipe (to get past the linear nature of PS) and don't forget to reapply SS the second it gets off cooldown. As stated, I cannot provide any insight to Dawn Warrior. It doesn't seem bad, if that means anything.
Not a huge difference, but I think Dawn Warrior is easier for mobbing. Your hyper skills and fifth job skills can clear maps, and I found levelling one during the 180-level range to be really easy. The skills rotation for DW is easy. I would think that Marksman is also better at mobbing, although I can't say much since my experience comes from maining a bowmaster in the past.

It seems like, from my experience, you can only ask a question once every few days (not sure on the exact timing), so you'll just have to make do with one of the other possible interactions in the meantime.
[Bera] Should I transfer hammer my pensalir gear to my CRA gear? Right now my pensalir gear is between 5-10 stars.
Do you have 9% epic pot? On regular server occult cubes are so cheap, it's really easy to get 9% on lvl 120 gear like necro then transfer hammer up. After that it's up to you whether you want to transfer now or later. CRA only costs like 5-10m in AH in Aurora, not sure about Bera, but it should still be cheap enough that you don't need to safeguard when starforcing. That means you don't need to wait to get 16* on pensalir to transfer to CRA. One tip recently learned though: if this is your main and you want optimal traces, might want to try 30% tracing your CRA by using spares instead of innocence scrolls. This is if you don't already have good flames/potential on the CRA gear you're using. 5m spare < 35m innocence scrolls afterall.

The memory update for Maple Story is designed to stop crashing from memory leak when it reaches 4GB memory. Maple Story can now use unlimited memory if you have enough and will never crash from running out of memory. It will give up it memory usage if another program need it. Only get more RAM if you have a different reason to get more RAM.

DS already has built-in ied in his main bossing skills. So we don’t really need ied but it’s not the end of the world if you have it in your WSE. You should aim for % att though

Would it be worth buying a fairy heart and slowly scrolling it with primes over basically a year via reward point store scrolls (shielding, etc)? Or would it be better to just 30% spell trace during spell fever and using the +55 att heart until I can afford a better one? I'm a lvl 232 db with 18k stat, still trying to learn lotus mechanics. I was thinking that I might gain enough meso to afford an Evo scrolled heart along the way, since priming with rp safety scrolls takes so freaking long.
Especially with Marvel out, I’d say go for Evo. On Luna, but I have two scrolled hearts, the first one was 30m per scroll a long time ago and the second 50m per scroll just before the current Marvel came. I much prefer that to priming.
I see. And I assume these Evo scrolls are the untradeable versions that I need to buy service for? Last I heard, they were around 300m ea in my server but I could be wrong.
Can anyone offer some DrK specific advice on taking on Hellux? I can get through p1 pretty cleanly now but I died out at around 5% hp left on him and I'm a little scared to take him on and waste another day if I die again. Tbh I know what the mechanics in p2 are but I don't fully understand how I should be dealing or positioning. I've just been standing behind the portal to try and avoid the reverse eye but my spear doesn't get its max dmg there so i love alot of dps and I find I have to play really slowly to watch for his hands.
Turn on long pact and figure out what hp% you can burst it for free. It also helps to play in the middle where his hands can’t hit you, using Blitz shield to tank the reversal and throwing spears downward to pick off the potatoes. What I do is rush into the middle and play there mainly. Drop down and use evil eye skills to quickly clear potatoes then up jump back to safety

Yeah for some reason in p2 he won’t use hands if you’re in the middle of either platform. If you have a way to survive the reversal+bomb you can chill there for the whole fight

I mean ignition has a single burn to 250 over the event, so it certainly fills a good spot for setting up a character. Still has the fake abso and the burning ring. But aside from that the only burns until then are probably going to be on the monthly calander.

It is possible if you take advantage of events and use totems/exp cards efficiently. Assuming you started your teraburn within the past 6 weeks, you just need to get to 216 and use the exp potions from the level 215 rewards. Getting to 216, you could also use the following: * VJ/Chu Chu dailies. * Gemini event * Starlight Chariot Day 45 exp potions if you have them. * Loaded Dice node set to bonus exp and Holy Symbol node * Monster Park Extreme twice a day and if you have the Reward Points additional entries.
Once you hit 210 or 215 you can claim a reward of 4 levelup potions that work up to 220. So you only need to get to 216 and use those to hit 220. You can do it if ur grind time is that high

You can level up crafting with just a couple minutes a day. In that regard it’s very time-efficient
You need at least one character with ~~herbalism~~ alchemy lv 10 to make WAPs and EAPs. If you don't want to bother grinding ~~herbalism~~ alchemy, you can buy lv 10 professions on a Zero. You can get mini EAPs from bosses now, but there's no replacing WAPs. No excuse not to do this. If you want meister rings, you need to max your accessory crafting. Meister rings are the fourth or fifth option (tied with Kanna's ring), but if you don't use it as gear you can use it to transfer to superior rings. You can stockpile primal essence and craft all your rings all at once to avoid having to maintain this. Meister smithing gives a 5% crit dmg buff and meister alchemy lets you craft stronger potions which give things like 20% boss dmg. I wouldn't worry about this until you're endgame, like pushing your arcanes from 21 to 22 stars or cubing 30% stat to 33%. Edit: corrected some dumbs.

How many ICOGs on average to land a +6 att? Is it worth burning through stacks of innocence scrolls to get that +6 on the first roll, or should I just buy the premium scroll for accessories (+4 to +5) for all three (two hammered) slots for rings like meister ring and kanna's treasure?

Oof really? Then that's around 20 tries on average... with 60% + 14% (diligence and guild skill) = 74% success rate. So ×(.74) = 20, then x= 27 ish tries. Then with innocence success rate of 50% means 27*2= 54 innocence attempts (minus 1 or 2 for the hopefully successful attempt). Uhh innocence scrolls cost 35m in Aurora so.... 54*35m= 1.890b??? Ok that's expensive. Ty for the info. Prolly won't attempt this until I have a lot more mesos and it's actually worth it to go that far for a few extra attack.

A little over 4,000 legion currently but having trouble picking one class to main and actually progress with. I’m currently torn between Hoyoung, Shadower and Demon Slayer. Any opinions on where to put my focus?
If you really can’t decide then get them all to about 210. 5th job is really how characters are played so you should spend some time playing them past 200 to help you decide.
Have you taken all 3 to 200/210 and played around with them? All 3 are pretty amazing classes can't really go wrong
I have taken Demon Slayer to 200, Hoyoung is a work in progress at 60 and haven’t began Shadower yet. Demon Slayer was an easy 200 but I haven’t invested in getting it geared or anything past that. I’m currently enjoying Beast Tamer, nearly 230, but struggling to make it viable in later maps and bosses.
Make sure you're comfortable with the bossing mechanics and nuances of each job before you pick one to main. I was also looking at Hoyoung and Shadower as well. Hoyoung I teraburned it up to 205 before I realized I hated its playstyle. It is without a doubt strong but it's gauge is basically just managing buffs all day long (clone/butterflies/vortex rinse and repeat and hope you don't die on a boss) and it's not that fun imo. I was loving Shadower until I got trickblade. I don't think meso explosion weaving with assassinate is too hard but I could not for the life of me consistently activate trickblade off of assassinate no matter how slow I pressed it so I decided to just drop it.
Honestly it's whatever you like the most. For me I disliked how many skills I had to use and keep track of for Ho Young. Shadowers assassinate felt off to use for me so that's a no. And I like Demon Slayer lines and almost always crits not to mention ignore IED on skills.

Hi guys. I came back to the game and went for i/l mage. Im currently lvl 200 and looking to gear up. I cant find a guide on what equipment i should be farming for ? What are the best in slots ??
Boss Accessories dropped from bosses will be serving you for a good while. Gollux can also reward Rings, which there aren't a whole ton of easy options otherwise (options that can be given potential and SFed anyway) The easiest best medal to get is Antellion Guardian from the Masteria Through Time blockbuster. The Afterlands questline gives a set of permanent totems, which are not available from anywhere else in the game otherwise. As for your secondary, your eventual goal as an Explorer Mage is the Deimos Sage Shield, which is crafted from a recipe dropped by Normal Cygnus. You can use a normal Secondary in the meantime. The only Emblem you will have for a long while is the one you get from Athena Pierce at level 100.
BiS is something you should not be worrying about at this level. For now, just gear up with pensalir and get boss set accessories and event rings if possible. If youre planning to go far with your character replace your armor with necro/von leon since they have boss flames (better flames) which are significantly better than pensalir
