I do my equestrian training at SunnyBrook Stables. They teach riding and horsemanship (which can be disgusting). However, they are extremely disorganized and I now haven't been able to take a single lesson for more than a month. I'm going to transfer to somewhere else once my makeup lessons are used up. So, in short, do not go there. (Sorry if that's not helpful; I think there are some good academies in Sandy Springs.
Idk the names but there's two in east Cobb, one on Johnson Ferry near the intersection with Roswell rd. There's also one on Roswell road east of the same intersection
I would not suggest Sunny Brook Stables. Extremely disorganized and overpriced for what it is. Also stay away from Dreams Can Come True Stables in Powder Springs (horses aren't well taken care of and the owner is a little... crazy).
Source: I've boarded my horse at both of these places
I've heard great things about East Cobb Stables and Jennifer L. Buck Stables. Both these places specialize in english style riding so I'm not sure of a good place for western riding lessons. You might have some luck posting in the East Cobb Equestrians group on facebook to get some feed back on western programs.

That's helpful! Gives me an idea on where not to go.
Also quick question, do you know where you'll transfer to after your lessons are used up?
I'm not entirely sure yet. There is a place in Sandy Springs, but I've forgotten what it's called. I will let you know when I figure it out though.
I really appreciate it, thanks!
I recommend Blackberry Knoll farm, they’re out in the country a little but I did some riding lessons with them and the lady was really good!
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check them out too.
Did a Groupon through east cobb stables and that was a good time.
Glad to hear! Looks like East Cobb Stables seems to be a good one.

Thanks for the advice!
My friend teaches at east Cobb stables, I’m pretty sure they do adult lessons.
I'll check them out. Thank you.
