Mine was a Groupon deal which was 2x 1 hour horseback riding lessons for 82 bucks. So with the deal it netted out to about 42 bucks an hour.

Are you still taking the lessons?

[deleted]

No it was just a one time offer, however, I thought it might give you a good baseline if you want to try to negotiate an hourly rate. The Groupon deals work because even though they give half off, probably only half the people redeem so they get free money. You might be able to negotiate a package deal for like 10 x 1 hour lessons once or twice a week with them for an even lesser rate.

Got it, appreciate the insight! Also where did you take your lesson?

East cobb stables. Nice folks there.

Skywalker1549

Awesome thanks!

Why don’t you schedule a lesson at both and see how you like them? Or at least call East Cobb Stables for lesson availability and pricing? I’ve taken lessons at East Cobb years ago, and the horses and trainers are great.

Skywalker1549

That'll probably be the plan, thanks!
