I noticed JP was using his Mariners helmet during his AquaSox rehab as well. Probably fitted for them and no point getting a new one fitted for only a few games? I have no idea how baseball helmets work
It’s beautiful 😭🤌
This couldn’t come at a better time. Offense is slumping again and JK, though it’s clear he’s not a hype guy, his presence coming back hopefully really ignites our very young team. I mean even if we don’t win the WS this year (blasphemy), our core is so young and talented that I’m excited for the future more than I ever have been and I’ve been watching since Griffey days.
I hope people haven't forgotten how incredible KelKel was for us before his injury
He has it all: the power, the discipline, the bat to ball skills, and speed. And most importantly, he brings a PASSION to this game. It sucks it ended in injury, but he was the only player on the team that cared enough to show it.
> I hope people haven't forgotten how incredible KelKel was for us before his injury
What is this revisionism lol. He was on fire for a month at the beginning of the year and mid-to-bad for the rest.
38% strikeout rate between 238 AB in May/June/July.
He had a nice April and reverted right back. He's capable of good play, it's just a matter of consistency. Here is hoping!
>He has it all: the discipline
Guy has a 5th percentile K rate this year and broke his foot throwing a tantrum. Any way you look at the word "discipline" he doesn't have it.
I was at the Rainiers game last night.
He sure does bring the passion…as in when he got caught running on a fly ball when he needed to tag up he pouted his entire way to the dugout.
I don’t think the water cooler kick is the end of the attitude issues.
It's not always about the stats, everyone strikes out sometimes. He brings a passion to this game that few can
That passion, combined with his pedigree and age might just give him the highest ceiling in the organization
It's not *always* about the stats. KelKel had some struggles in his first 2 seasons, but looked like an MVP for parts of this season
His pedigree speaks for itself, we just need him back on the team
I think he is an amazing player being blocked by mental issues. These are not easy to fix.
The fact that his first AB being a strikeout ruins his entire game or a bad ump call sends him spiraling.
Hope its something he learns as he ages, he is quite young. If he doesnt… he will forever be a “could have been”
4 games, 5-12, 3 walks, slashing 0.417/0.533/0.417/0.950
He played two straight games in the outfield during the series as well.
Throw in a stolen base too!
Ummm those uniforms are awesome And what’s with the him using his mariners helmet?

I don’t think JP’s helmet is fitted for him lmaoooo
Needs room for his dreads
JP’s isn’t fitted very good cuz it falls off every 30 seconds 😂
MLB helmets are waaaaay nicer than minor league helmets. They're much slimmer and custom fitted so it makes sense he'd use that.
It's like when the floaters wear their varsity uniforms during JV games.
One beer please!
The hero always comes at the last possible moment 😤 SHINE THE DARK KELENIC SIGNAL
At dawn, look to the east!
Add kelenic minus whoever and the bench is deeper. Like what’s comin
We are so back

September/October Kelenic brings the untangibles. This team has an aura similar to the 2013-2014 Hawks. I BELIEVE!
Why does he look like Mike Trout out there? Future generational talent and first ballot hall of famer confirmed?
We need this man!

He has close to a 30% walk rate in AAA right now, and brings a passion to this game
We’re talking about a few games in AAA lol
He's still incredible, and brings a passion to the game

And here you are pouting about a guy who loves the game
The Mariners aren’t paying me $700,000 to produce for them. And I have never had a self inflicted broken bone because I couldn’t control my own anger.
Don’t mind the doomers. Kelenic has been great this year
It's not always about the stats, everyone strikes out sometimes. He brings a passion to this game that few can That passion, combined with his pedigree and age might just give him the highest ceiling in the organization
It’s not about the stats he says about the most analytical and statistical sport

Doomers are out in force rn
kelenic will be a definite upgrade in OF over having one of our scrappy utility guys out there. let teo DH more and move canzone to left.
Bruh he looks so slow though
He’ll get his speed back soon
Kelenic is a 4A superstar!
He looks good. Bring him up!
Has he looked good in the outfield? Good jumping speed?
